Not a stodgy theater with little legroom and a see-and shut-up atmosphere. It is a living theater, one where you can bring your wine and cheese, one where audience participation is accepted, one where photo is not frowned upon. Besides Jordan's superb performance, the thespian-loving crowd was in rare form, making it a part of the uplifting show. The theater has awesome acoustics. And as well, there is not one bad seat in the house, as the fairly steep angle of the rows provides for superb visibility throughout. The large bar and sitting area upstairs compliment the Stage. Welcoming, comfortable, with a full bar and wine offerings. Indeed, the Bank of New Hampshire stage is a model for others to follow.

Finding the playhouse was easy and it's a few miles from downtown Meredith. Parking was really easy considering the show was sold out and the playhouse itself is picturesque and charming. The theatre only holds a couple of hundred so it's easy to get in and out. I would highly recommend coming to see a show. The actors are professionals and each show brings a different cast. The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

Then learned they were a primarily reservation-based restaurant, BUT they were able to snag me a table...Yay! The restaurant was unusual in that it felt like a fake establishment, almost set up as a prop for a comedy skit. The server came over promptly and told me that all food arrived from outside, and they just heated things up, and that they may or may not have all things on the menu. The venue is nestled in a wide expanse and there is plenty of parking. The building is gorgeious inside and out. You are able to order a meal ahead for dining before a show. I thought it would be chaos but it was well organized and the seatings timed in a way that you could have a leisurely meal. The concert hall is beautiful and I'm guessing there is not a bad seat in the house. I will be back!

One character kept the script in-hand the entire show and certain scenes were clumsy, rather than funny. A farce is a very specific form of comedy, which takes acting chops to pull off. Overall, entertaining for what it was and the cost, but disappointing from a stage direction standpoint.
