Spencer adjusted the garage door jamb to align it with the siding, cleaned up the caulking, and made a minor adjustment to how one of the doors was hung. I am happy with how the company quickly improved its work. Original review (12/16/24): I hired Balanced Garage Doors to replace two old wooden garage doors. The price of the job and the quality of the doors are decent. However, the quality of the work leaves something to be desired. Our installer left a decent mess after the work was completed, including glass shards from the old garage door windows. I also found one of the siding panels out of place. The installer came to fix the siding today. Regardless, the quality of work seems poor, considering I paid $3600 for the job.

I found myself in a pickle…read morethis morning when trying to leave my sisters house, the garage door wouldn't shut and was hanging down on one side as it lost a roller and was partially open crooked. (Pictures attached are "before" repairs) I was unsure of who to call to help as I was house sitting and not familiar with garage repair whatsoever. I found GNR on Yelp and called as soon as they opened. I'm in Rockmart, and so grateful they were able to get to my location in under 75 minutes after receiving my call for a last minute/emergency request - so grateful for the quick turnaround!! Glenn immediately saw the issue and was quick to jump into action. Glenn was fantastic to work with as he worked through the primary issue and tightened up other parts of the garage door that were impacted from a loose cable and roller falling out of the track. He also gave me some great insights on what I could inform my sister of with how the garage was installed and things to look out for - no pressure sales, all great information. That type of customer service is hard to find - he provided honest feedback and suggestions with no haggling or pressure to call him back. He also didn't layer on any "scare tactics" that I know some repair companies can use to get you to upgrade or upswell their Services.. I had none of that with Glenn which made me trust him 10 times more! To me, it means he stands behind his work and isn't going to try and sell you a bag of goods if you don't need it. Now that everything is said and done, I think the garage is in better shape than it was before it went rogue this morning. Word of advice - don't try to solution any of this yourself! Glenn told me had I tried to do it myself I could have caused more damage and maybe had the garage come down on me or any vehicle still in the garage. I thought the roller had just fallen and the issue was bigger than I could see - phew! Trust me - Spend the money and get an expert like Glenn to help you out! You won't regret it. As I said before, this is my first time dealing with a garage repair and I found GNR via Yelp. I picked them since they were close in proximity and had great reviews. Don't let the fact that they only have a few Yelp reviews discourage you. They know what they are doing and are top notch from overall customer service, billing, quality of work, response time, and price! It's worth mentioning, they weren't out to take advantage of my emergency situation either and tack on an additional $800+ like other companies will try to do. *that's not to say you won't ever get an emergency charge, but other companies definitely would have for that quick of a turnaround. I researched online the service companies near Chamblee. I choose, Liberty garage services, scheduled an appointment for 9:30am Friday. The tech arrived at 9:15am.
