This is a solo practice where they work hard to make sure a patient doesn't wait for their scheduled appointment. So unlike the other dermatology practices in the area that feel like factories with waiting rooms overflowing with people long overdue for their appointments. The staff at Dermatology Associates is always warm, welcoming, and professional. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. What a nice feeling to walk into this office! I feel so grateful that this is my doctor. His expertise in identifying my misdiagnosed condition saved my life. And how many people can actually say that about any of their doctors?! I kept coming to Connecticut dermatology; after a bump on my face turned into a full blown rash in my nose , on my nostrils , sides of my mouth and chin. I was told I had rosacea , which was only half of the issue. I actually have severe dandruff and overgrowth of skin mites which the common diagnosis for that is "keratosis" I got so sick and my face got so messed up I ended up calling a random dermatologist who prescribed me scalp medication , two face medications and a bar soap. To say now I am better , but, you can't diagnose a skin condition by looking at a patient 10 feet across the room! The dermatologist I went to see at Westport dermatology, got up and close with my rash and actually asked me questions and sent me for bloodwork I just think, when it comes to conditions, it's important to seek other treatment options when one doctor fails to diagnose you .

I had a small white bump next to my eye and nose, a pretty sensitive area. I asked Dr. Whitman if I needed to be concerned and she replied "I haven't even looked yet" When she removed it, there was no preparation, she didn't tell me she was using a needle and sticking me repeatedly. I scheduled an appt the morning of and they told me to come in later that afternoon. I had been waiting in the WAITING ROOM for 50 minutes before I had to leave. They told me that the doctor sees all of the other patients scheduled first before me, even though I had an appointment. Besides the fact that there were 5 other patients in the waiting room, all which would be ahead of me, and the flow of people never stopped. Utterly ridiculous and such a waste of time. Don't go here if you have a job you have to get back to, or any sort of to do list at all. Never going back there ever again.
