I believe when the home was built the lowest bid was chosen for the install and it really stood out to a few of the people we called to get estimates. Curt was extremely fast to respond and genuinely listen to my concerns. We did a pretty large rework of the HVAC system in the house and I was offered exactly what I asked for in different variations based on the price I was comfortable with. We didn't want another version of the cheapest possible install we could get. I wanted rooms that were comfortable for my children. In the end we elected to go for a dual zone setup. Dusty and Preston were punctual, had great communication about arrival, and really were the definition of a family business. They worked extremely hard and seriously took no short cuts. My 3 year olds favorite part of the day was giving pictures to her new friend Dusty. If you want a tl;dr; It wasn't our cheapest bid or the most expensive. I was offered options I was unaware of but I was never "sold" on anything. Every point of contact in the Smith family was fun and professional. There was a genuine pride in their work and the final results showed. I was listened to, and currently on a cold September day am comfortably working in what used to be a very chilly room. It's extremely hard to find a good honest family business these days. Companies like this deserve patrons or customers will only have massive conglomerates left. I was ready to throw the whole unit out the door and start over again. we contacted Anderson, they came and inspected and identified the problem and gave us a very, very reasonable estimate to fix the problem. they came on time on the scheduled day made the repairs. because our past experiences, I did not want to write the review until we had the furnace running for a while. now that the furnace been running of several weeks, I am happy to report that our furnace is running smoothly.
