Great food, great service! They were training a young lady at the order counter. She did well. Our order was perfect. The food was delicious. Our party of three ordered black Angus Club, turkey ranch BLT, and chicken salad ion a croissant with pickles, two sides of BBQ Miss Vickie's chips and a side of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup had good chunks of broccoli in it. The vegetables on the sandwiches was fresh and delicious the meats and cheeses were tasty. We were traveling from Galax to Midlothian and wanted a decent dinner in a casual atmosphere for a quick stop and McDonald's Alister's was a perfect stop. We were not off the road very long.

Quick dinner while in town for a track meet at Liberty University. The southwest chicken and avocado salad was pretty tasty! And be warned: it's huge! Ask for an extra dressing.

I visited this McAlister's craving their black angus king club sandwich which uselly is really good. I always order extra horseradish sauce on the side as it makes the whole sandwich experience better....after ordering my sandwich , cup of soup and beverage. I had a seat and when the food arrived I noticed there was no sauce on the side I went to the counter to request a cup of it and was told they were out...I then asked soooo there's none on my sandwich? They had just put mayo on it and sent it out. I attempted to eat the sandwich of disappointment but it just sucked ass without it and I ended up leaving 90% of it the cup of soup was just ok. My biggest gripe is this when I ask for extra sauce on the side and you are out of it totally please communicate that to the people taking orders if I had known I would have ordered something else instead of spending 25.00$ on a shitty sandwich.

McAllister's deli is a great place for lunch. It's One of my favorite places to go for lunch. They have a wide selection of things to eat sandwiches, soups, soup in a bread bowl, salads and baked potatoes all which I can tell you are amazing. They also have a pretty good chili as well. So far I've had a little bit of everything there and I've never been disappointed when I leave. The baked potatoes are absolutely huge if you get a whole one so be hungry. The soup in a bread bowl is my favorite and usually I get French onion or chicken noodle. Both are great. The sandwiches there are great as well which I've had a variety of those an they don't skimp on how much they give you which makes the price well worth the food. It's always very clean and customer service is great. If you haven't been to McAllister's I suggest trying it you won't be disappointed.

First time here and I'll be back! My hubby's King Club was HUGE but he finished it. My Au Jus sandwich (just a half) was very tasty and the perfect for me. Staff was very friendly, and the place was very welcoming.

    Vs what I ordered.

Good for lunch. A diversified menu. They have eliminated some dishes since I started going there over 8 years ago. Some I really liked.

I had the roasted chicken salad. They must store the chicken in water. I have never had watery chicken before. It was beyond unappetizing.

The food was simple and delicious with house-made soups, sides and dressings. I thoroughly enjoyed the tomato soup and though I'm typically not a pasta salad fan, thought theirs was great (made with a ranch based dressing rather than Italian dressing style). Located in a retro shopping center, so it's a little hard to find at first. Nothing fancy, but comfortable and easy to get in and out. Highly recommend!

This was a huge project for a local business. The food was simple burgers , chicken sandwich BBQ hot dogs chips fries and can soda. A speciality day on one of the Saturday's that was to be a hearty meatloaf mashed potatoes and green beans. The workers for the truck were not available most evening or night shift hours and 5 of the 11 days they just did not bother to show up for any shift. So poorly executed for the men and women of the project that just wanted a hot meal. Do not book this food truck..... if you do get it in writing the exact times of availability and prices from the menu and all selections. Really poor service. Do not recommend.

So I pulled out the trusty Yelp app to see if there might be something interesting to try in the area. I landed on a well rated Peruvian fast-casual place called Colca's Chicken and decided to stop in. This is a newer building, but the layout is a little odd in the sense that all parking is around the side and back, and because of the topography, you have to walk around to the road-side to get in. Only really pertinent if you are a person with mobility issues, fine by me. The style is fast casual, and they offer anything from simple sandwiches, to monster burritos, and entree platters. I saw someone getting a burrito and it looked really good, so I went for the "Colca"s Chicken burrito" which came with Marinated Chicken, Peruvian Fried Rice, Peruvian Chickpeas, Queso Fresco, Peruvian Onions, Cilantro, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Roasted Peruvian Corn, traditional Peruvian Aji Yellow Sauce. Sorry for all those caps, i copy pasted from their website. First thing... what a monster. There was so much protein and fillings in this thing that the guy making mine completely failed to roll it properly. Just wasnt possible. He did his best but a big tear opened up in the side. I told him it was OK, and he just wrapped it over with foil. I was able to eat about half before grabbing a fork and having the rest more like a bowl. Honestly though, it was so big, a little more than half was all I wanted. I wish I could say I enjoyed all of it thoroughly, but one of the elements, the roasted corn, made it difficult. The corn was so over-roasted that all the kernels were hard. It was nearly like biting into a popcorn kernel, but thankfully, they did break apart once you bit in. Whenever I hit some, it was unpleasant. Once I got in with a fork, I did my best ot separate them out, but kept hitting some. I also wasn't a huge fan of the garbanzo beans. I would know better on both items for next time. In general though, with that knowledge, I think my next experience would be better, if I get that chance. Seems like a great local place to go for an interesting meal.

They apparently didn't have any pickles or didn't bother to include one (i do not care which) and since they didn't "charge me" for the pickle it's fine to just not include it and not tell me it wasn't included. Since the sandwich was a soggy ugly mess and contained ingredients I'm allergic to, i wasted $20 and ate a bag of lays potato chips for lunch. The sandwich is stinking up my trash can as we speak. I guess they call it Zero subs for a reason because i would give this place 0/10. I'm upgrading to a 3 because even though Waitr was unwilling to help, i spoke to a supervisor at the shop and he was very nice and offered to refund me since I couldn't eat the food.
