The lady running the food didn't care that she gave us the wrong food and when she was walking away we tried to get her attention and she said "WHAT!?" They only get one star because they only got half the order correct. They messed up on the taco salad no tortilla strips , no guacamole, no sour cream . I usually like them for a quick lunch but today wasn't great. Ordered half of a BLT +A sandwich and soup. All of the ingredients on the sandwich were piled up in the middle of the bread and the piece of avocado was whole. After I remade my sandwich and cut the avocado with my spoon I mentioned it to the guy behind the counter. He apologized and said he talk to them in the back. Great, you don't know that you have a problem unless someone tells you. The thing that got me was he came to my table and apologized again and said the manager would be out to talk to me. Not necessary but i appreciated the gesture until he never showed up. I timed it and it was 10 mins from the time he said that until I had to leave to get back to work. Slowest service I've ever experienced. The cashiers were clueless, our wait for food wasn't terrible, but we did have to wait in the longest line. Also had coke spilled on me by a waitress. Service is poor at best. I placed an online order. When I got to the restaurant, I paid for my family's food(just over $50 after adding on extras) before I was told that they no longer offered something i ordered. I then had to change a portion of my order(sandwich as a part of a choose 2), While I was waiting on my teas to get filled an employee from a grocery store across the street told me that she had called her order in approx. an hour before her break and had only ordered a glass of tea and a sandwich and she was still waiting for her food. After waiting an extra 20 mins for our food; my order was just handed to me without anyone going through the order with me to make sure it was correct. Luckily I checked it on my own at my vehicle cause the sandwich I changed to I requested no mustard and it was dripping mustard. Took my sandwich back in to have it made again and realized that they forgot one of my daughter's extras and one of my extras as well. I brought this to the manager's attention when he brought me my new sandwich and then told me that one of the extra's that we paid and extra $1.50 for was no longer available. He did not offer to get the other extra, but did offer to refund my entire check and then re-ring my order up and re-run my card with out me having to be there(which I declined). If some one is going to give me a credit for their company messing up I want a recipe to prove the credit in case it turns into a double charge(it has happened in the past and was very hard to dispute with my bank at the time). I declined for the reason too that I had already been there or about an extra half hour and the rest of my family's food was waiting in my vehicle. I told the manager that my family used to frequent the restaurant very often but their service had been going downhill for a long time and that this was the first time in very long time that I had been in and only came tonight because my wife wanted their tea, but that I would not be back anytime soon I will go to either the Rankin Highway store or I will stop in Odessa on my way home from work and get what my family wants. Horrible Service, Ordered food online was told that the order was cancelled when I never cancelled and that if we wanted our food we would need to pay for it again. Was refused a receipt showing our order was cancelled and that the manger was "Too Busy" to speak with us. NEVER got a refund for our first order. Every time we go they are rude and forget to give us straws or the sauces we ask for on the side. Never have this issue at any other McAlisters. After today NEVER going back. read more

We always use the app to put our order in to be picked up and every time things are missing. They have forgotten bacon that was supposed to be added to my husband sandwich twice, forgotten my fruit and brownie before. I ordered a turkey sandwich and it was supposed to have spinach and tomato's on it and all it had was guacamole. Honestly this has to be the worst customer service I have almost ever encountered. Either they don't have enough employees or they just don't care. My first time going to a McAlister's and I will never go again. I noticed you needed to call in to order before going through drive thru. I called twice and it kept ringing before finally going off. I went ahead and just walked in with my father and we were in line for approximately 20-25 minutes. I kept thinking to myself I should just walk out but I wanted to try the food. I should have known customer service was awful from the start of my phone call. I was watching the employees ignoring phone calls so I now know why my phone call wasn't answered. While we were in line a gal was behind us and decided to cut us in line because she was mad that they didn't answer and so she started ordering which was honestly really upsetting. So we finally get to order and all they could say was "I'm sorry for the wait". Ya if you had great customer service which we all know you don't, you would have AT LEAST offered a free drink or something to make up for your lack of service!! Oh and also the food was ok. Definitely nothing special, their tortilla soup was not tortilla soup. That soup was more like chicken soup with tortilla chips. Never going to a McAlister's again. read more

Food was fine, but the actual restaurant was disgusting. Food and trash all over the floor, and we couldn't find a clean table in the entire place. I totally understand why this place has a one star rating! If I could give it a negative rating, I would! There has not been ONE time that my to go order has been correct! They get irritated if I stop to check at the drive through. If I go on, I have to park and go in and wait in line when I catch the problem before I get home. Their workers don't care at all! We pay extra for different dressing, which of course, they forget! We ask for extra spinach instead of chicken, but get no spinach and do get the chicken anyway! They COMPLETELY IGNORE any special requests or changes that we pay for. The manager has given us store credits, refunds for hair in food, or other...yet the workers can never find the credit to give us our free meal...I'm pretty sure we are done giving any more chances to this place! read more

Do not order ahead! I called in my order and spoke with a very friendly person. All seemed well until I arrived and waited 45 minutes for my food. The people ordering there were all getting their food while I waited. When I finally stepped up after they called my name, the order was for someone else. It turns out the order had been sitting in the back the whole time. The manager was quite aggressive when I pointed out that I had waited 45 minutes. The food is so delicious, but the service and atmosphere is not worth it. Go to Murray's or Jason's. read more

I used to love McAlisters but now it's just trash and it's so slow paced. I ordered on line and still waited for over 30 minutes. The man behind me told me they told him to wait by the drive thru for his ONE sandwich, yet HE was there for over an hour already. When I finally get my order it was COMPLETELY wrong, they read nothing on my ticket. I ordered a sandwich on a CROISSANT WITHOUT MUSTARD(I'm allergic) and without ham. What they gave me was a basic club sandwich with mustard and ham and on wheat bread!!??! I call the store and ask for a refund since I don't want to wait another 30 minutes for a different sandwich. The boy that answers is doing what he can, BUT when he tells the manager, the manager doesn't want to get on the phone so he tells the boy to take my name and number and "they'll call me back later because they're very busy." A day later, still no call. What a waste of $16. Just make your own sandwich, don't come here. read more

This mcalisters continually disappoints me and I am finished coming to this location. Tonight the staff was lazy, less than hospitable and the service was slower than the normal slow. However the food is almost always good. It seemed like not even one person working in there was able to run a cash register. It took 3 people to check out a to-go order and there were a few other customers who were irritated as well. Mcalisters in general needs to reanalyze the way it runs. It is inefficient and they always seem to have people standing around when they could be filling drinks or cleaning up. Management needs to be changed if this is the way a restaurant is going to be run. I think much can be learned from successful chains such as Chick-fil-A which is always on top of service and everyone knows what they're doing. read more

Recently, our local high school had a sports banquet and we were in need of refreshments. Even though we asked last minute, McAlisters replied very quickly and came to our rescue. Let's see I have only ordered online twice from McAlister's but the first time the completely left out my nachos basket. When I realized it was not in the bag I called and asked if I can come back to get the missing food. The employee told me that it wasn't possible because there was no way to prove we didn't already get it. SERIOUSLY? It's $6...I would spend more in gas round trip going to get it. I just finished ordering again online only to go pick up our food to hear they are out of potatoes so they can't make any spuds. That's ALL we ordered. I'm very upset and think they should have at least offered something. How can they run out of potatoes on a Friday night with the entire weekend coming up? I love McAlister's! I have three small kids so I try to go during slower times.I never go during lunch time they always have a full parking lot. So usually between 2 and 5. The staff is always extremely nice to me and my kids. Our food is always fresh and hot. One time we had a mistake and the manager came out immediately, apologized, and replaced my food. He then checked on our table two other times just to refill our drinks! Overall every time is a great time. read more
