Never waited so long for a sandwich before! There was only around five people in the store, so I figured I'd get my to-go meal rather quickly. Over 30 minutes later I finally received the sandwich. This place has the worst staff that will do almost anything to not to have to work! They will literally stand behind the register doing nothing as you wait for them to take your order. The people working there are horrendous. We waited in line for over 20 minutes. It wasn't even busy. There were 3 people ahead of me. The cashiers we bouncing from the phone, to go orders, and fixing screwed up orders. I finally left. If ordering took that long, I'd hate to see how long the food takes. I had an hour of lunch until I got back from work and I stood in line and some people were waiting at their table and a lady came up to someone and asked how much longer , and the cook (Melissa or marissa I don't remeber) gave her an attitude, yelled at her and said she was working on it, the lady just went back to her table. I then asked the lady in front how long is it going to take to make sure I had enough time so I could go somewhere else. She said 15-20 minutes , i gave her my order and she didn't ask for a receipt. I waited and waited, it was 30 minutes and there was still call ahead ss waiting. So I knew I had not chance but to get a refund and leave. I asked for one and Marissa or Melissa the cook gave me a big attitude and asked for a receipt, i said they didn't give me one, and she said something along the lines of what am I supposed to do then , and then rolled her eyes and asked for my name I told her my name and order and she gave me the refund. She could have just done that instead of giving me an attitude for not having a receipt. They were short handed , i understood that. It's very stressful having to handle multiple things at once. but giving a stranger attitude about a sandwich is so unprofessional i would have been fired at my job soemone that's taking care of that place should handle that. McAlister's never disappoints. The portions are pretty hearty. Soups and chilis are delicious hot and generously portioned. The sweet tea is not to be missed It's served in enormous cups that are of course refillable. My favorites are the Savannah Chopped salad ( a tasty salad with chicken pecans and blue cheese) and the Sweet Chipotle Chicken sandwich on grilled ciabatta. If you're looking for a casual meal of salads, soups, sandwiches and topped baked potatoes this is a good spot. read more

Made a pit stop while driving through for business. Stopped for lunch around 2 in the afternoon and the place was empty. We made our order and went to sit down. After we sat we saw a huge plate (24-30") of tortilla chips and a big bowl of queso delivered to the only other people in the restaurant. It looked amazing, and we were hungry, so I made my way to the counter to ask what that was and to inform them that they needed to make another for us. The girl behind the counter politely informed me that it was the nachos plate (but I would call it chips & queso) and said she would bring it out to our table. A minute or so later she appeared with ours and would not let me pay for them. I learned the only things better then there ice tea are free 'nachos.' read more

One star only cuz I had to click on one. The customer service sucks they treat you like if they're giving away the food. Very rude the young lady and the older lady as well. Obviously they hate there job but no reason to make customers feel like wanting to choke slam them both. Standing in line and one yells ARE YOU READY!! With the dumbest look on her face. Also there manager Melissa rolled her eyes as I asked for some mayo and mustard. She gave me 1 mustard and 1 mayo I asked for more she grabs a hand full and basically shoves it in my bag. Well I eat at mcalisters quite a bit and today I was in there ordering my regular. In front of me was a very attractive lady in front of me. I understand we all look however it was completely rude and very noticeable. McAlisters cooks were coming out of the back to look. Not just once or twice but several time. If that were my daughter and I noticed them doing it it would have been a hell of a scene. What's even worse the manager was looking too and even went to that back and chuckled and laughed looking in the ladies direction. Then to top it off I ordered a French dip. And got a half sandwich. Ordered on the app because I didn't have time to stand in line. Took me about 15 minutes to drive in opposite direction from where I needed to go. Went to the pick up station and a lady came up to me told me that I just needed to go stand in line. I explain to her that I'm here for my pick up order. She said that she is only having one line and that I need to go stand in line for my order even though it's for pick up. There was at least 15 people in line. Doesn't make sense to me that I needed to wait in line for other people to place their order just for me to pick up my to go. They should have someone to hand out to go orders so that way there's not a crowd of people inside. I had to call customer service for a refund. Customer service is terrible. We stopped in with a bus of 20 people at 8pm on a Saturday. As soon as we walked in the cooks in the back started cussing loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. The manager on duty was also being aggressive and making rude comments very loudly. I proceeded to go order at the counter my receipt sticks to the counter. I should have asked them and there for a refund. I stopped in for lunch, and while I waited in line, an employee asked me what I wanted to drink and got it for me. When I got to the counter, I asked if they had gluten-free bread. I was told that they did, which thrilled me because I want to get a veggie sandwich. Then when I got ready to pay, the manager (who was right on the front lines with all the hard working employees) told me that my meal was free. I asked why and he told me he liked to see people smile. When I left, this same manager was standing at the front door of the restaurant welcoming people as they came in and thanking others as they left. I didn't get his name, but that guy is amazing! Worst service ever. Waited 10 minutes for a cold sandwich to-go before asking on the status of my food. 3 or 4 cashiers behind the desk and no one bothered to check the box sitting in the window. It was mine, and I waited another 10 minutes before inquiring again, at which point the staff finally realized it had been sitting there. So here is what happens when a restaurant is left in the hands of teenagers: The overriding fact is that the kids preparing the food have the idea that "really good food" comes from a Sysco truck aka Buffalo Wild Wings. Having no friggin idea how to prepare even the most basic paint-by-number salad or sandwich they served a distorted mess that bore little resemblance to the menu items. The Southwest salad was a pound and a half of lettuce with, I kid you not, 6 black beans and pieces of corn, 3 chips with a glob of guacamole and 3 anemic tomato slices! The turkey, cranberry sandwich was soggier and more slimy than a bog. We stared dismally, picked gingerly and left $20 lighter and without any lunch. I guess they need to remember that if you're going to open a restaurant you SHOULD HIRE A COOK! Never, ever again! read more

This place is the worst I've visited. By a long shot. I enjoy McAlister's, but I ate the worst sandwich of my life in this building. Cold, stale, and with a just plain rude amount of grilled onions. You may be thinking, "I love grilled onions." No you don't, not this much. I was served a grilled onion sandwich with a roast beef garnish. This, to my dismay, was not a one off experience. Round 2 of the suckatude came in the form of a southwestern chicken something or other and some tortilla soup. The sandwich had one slice of avocado, and three baby slices of chicken... the babiest. Soup was cold and, again, fully saturated with onions. Only this time they were of the raw and green variety. There were so many that my tortilla soup was tansformed, in essence, to southwestern onion bisque. This place is awful, do not go. Ever. For any reason. But for real though, don't. read more

Never stop at this location for dinner. The times I've gone for lunch have been good service, but for us this is more of an option for dinner due to the location. At dinner, we always have problems with our pick up order being wrong. The service is also very slow at dinner which is why we never dine in. However, I finally had to write a bad review because the cleanliness of the food we received last night was terrible. The lemons in our tea still had the little produce stickers on them; I doubt they were even rinsed prior to cutting. I make this assumption because I attempted to eat part of the peel of my baked potato and had to spit it out due to all of the dirt I was crunching on! If they can't even do something as basic as washing a lemon or a potato then I shudder when contemplating other kitchen hygiene practices. read more

For starters we looked up this restaurant to see if there was a military discount, and the rude little girl in the front declined saying," As far as I know, we don't." The tone in her voice was so rude. After waiting a long while for our food that we had ordered over the phone, we took it home and realized we had received NONE of our sides. If i could give it less than 1 I would. I have been to this McAlister's 2 times each time worst than the next. The people behind the counter are slow and unfriendly. I walked in and placed an order to go, 30 min later i walked out with food.. got home and of course it was wrong AND cold. I ordered the Rachel, got a Ruben.. Husband ordered a Memphian and we aren't even sure what he got. I will not go back. Love McAlisters but not this one. And of course there is no where on their website to leave a review. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, this place was by far the worst McAllisters I've eaten at. The customer service is awful and the employees look like they all hate their job. We ordered our food to eat in and was mistakenly placed as To go and even then they didn't Bother to apologize or put our food in actual plates to eat. The restrooms are disgusting, wet floors, paper all over the floor and the trash can is pile high over flooding. Never will I eat here again! read more

Went in there today at 11:55 a s waited 15 minutes to get to a cashier. I told a manager on duty what was going on and he opened a drawer. While placing our order a man came up and said I wNt my money back. He said he had been waiting 45 minutes. They offered him the one sandwich and he said it's cold and has been sitting there too long. We placed our order with Priscilla and she was less than attentive. She gave my daughter sweet tea when she ordered green tea but when we told her the sweet was wrong she gave us a regular tea. After waiting 15 minutes for our food it came wrong. Priscilla did not listen to a word we said. I took her sandwich back up to the counter and I was told they would remake in two to three minutes. After ten I went back and asked where the food was and finally the general manager made it. There were several people who complained about waiting thirty minutes for their food. Why does this mcalisters only use one cashier when the lines are to the door. The other young lady working there today is slower than a snail. All she waited on was to go orders and I watched her that when there were no to go she did wait on customers. Why is it you have two managers there and only when someone complains do they take care of customers. I have spent my last dollar at this location.
