I placed an order online on 4/3/17, which I thought would be quite simple. I did a choose two and a taco salad. When the order was picked up 85% of the components were missing. I don't understand how the Monroe location is so unorganized compared to the West Monroe location. I called the location once I got home and the manager simple gave me the excuse that the items were left in the window. I guess he didn't feel the need to apologize. My recommendation is to visit the West Monroe location it's just an overall better experience. read more

Been here multiple times. Even on a really busy day the food and service was good. It's a good sandwich shop for this area.

We stopped here driving from FL home to TX. It was late about 9pm, the staff was courteous and attentive and the food was such a nice difference from regular road trip fried fast food. Everyone in my family of 4 enjoyed their meals. I left off 1 star because it was pretty messy, we couldn't find a table that looked wiped down so we sat at the least dirty one. One employee did clear the tables while we were there but did not wipe them down. Could be because it was close to closing time. read more

We went here at 7:00 Thursday evening. My daughter and I each placed an order in the app, Her boyfriend ordered at the counter. His order came out about 30 min later and was a sandwich after he ordered a wrap. My daughter's came out about 45!mon after we ordered. Mine was not ready until over an hour after I ordered. There was only one guy running the front counter and 2 in the back; during the fiasco, one of the guys in back clocked out and left. The guy at the front counter would tell people as they walked in that it was a long wait, so many of them left. It was not unusually busy, but they were so disorganized. They were not doing any of the orders in the app, so they were just sitting unfilled. I went to the counter multiple times to inquire. The guy at the front would go back and tell them he needed certain orders to be filled next. There was no order or organization at all. When my order was finally brought out, the potato was super dry and the skin was literally crispy and brittle from being so over baked. It was a terrible experience. I feel it is specific to this location because we went to the West Monroe location recently and had a wonderful experience. I won't go back for a long time. read more

The only bad thing is they are always packed, so be ready to wait in line. However the food comes out pretty quickly. Not all the table get flipped very well, so I usually end up clean the table myself. read more

We visited this McAlister's earlier this year while passing through on a road trip. Since we were traveling, we were needing timely service to get us back on the road. It took over 10 minutes to place our order (we were only 3rd in line, as I recall) and then after 30 minutes of waiting and having yet to receive our food we decided to ask for a refund as we needed to get back on the road. Overall, nearly an hour stop and no food. While not the best service, we were offered the chance to return and receive two free meals. Tonight, we were traveling the same route and we were in less of a rush, so we decided to go for it and take them up on the offer. They honored the offer and the service was excellent. Each service member was polite and the food arrived swiftly allowing us to get back on the road quickly while feeling great about the experience. All in all, a bad first impression was corrected through great customer service so I felt that the experience should be shared. read more

The take-out orders took an exceptionally long time to be filled. We finally had to ask for them. Sadly, yet apparently usually, the order was incomplete. The self-proclaimed manager said both the cook and the counter person are responsible for checking the order, but "accidents happen, my dear." 8/11/17 7:00 pm We stopped here on our way to the beach. Not impressed!! Expected it to be like other McAllister locations but it was not. Most of the tables were dirty, the guy that finally started to get the dishes off of the tables was not wiping them clean so even the ones without dishes were still dirty. My tomato bisque soup was barely warm and the sandwich I ordered (orange cranberry club) didn't have any orange cranberry on it. I ask for the soup to be heated, which it was. Most of the employees were more interested in going to and from the office and not particularly interested in a good experience for the customers. :( read more

Their electronic board advertised a southwest avocado chicken salad, it looked good. Well it took a while to get our food and then I knew why , the avocado was unripe! My fork bounced off of the avocado, I tried eating another piece, same thing. When we spoke to the manager he acted like no big deal, they come from Mexico they are not ripe. The service at this place has really gone down over the years. I was reminded today why I stopped eating at this location. I went in today to place a Togo order and was told I couldn't place an order at the "Togo " counter. Poor poor service. I placed my order online and went in to pick up my order at the time they told me it would be ready. I get there and my order isn't ever made. Then they go on to say that the soup I ordered wasn't available. A simple phone call would have been nice and saved me a trip. Especially since the manager was sitting in the office and decide to jump up and make my order once I got there..."saying it will only take 5mins to make my sandwich"' I ordered 20 mins before. Do not eat here if you're on a lunch hour. Our simple order was lost for over 30 minutes as was numerous other customers. After asking about our order, they asked to see our receipts then verified that it had been lost. We watched as others that came in after us received their food in a timely manner. Terrible service. We walked around the building from the back and there is trash all over the ground outside the door, trash all in front of the entry door. Trash in the bathroom floor. While we stood and waited to order the two young ladies at the order stand carried on a conversation between each other ignoring us. ZERO STARS. UNLESS YOU LIKE BUGS IN YOUR FOOD. My coworkers and I order from here twice a week. Well last week there was a bug in my food. I was given a refund. Whatever. Well my coworkers gave them another chance and the manager gave us a hard time. They asked for extra butter and sour cream for 2 potatoes. The manager asked why there was so much butter and sour cream in the bag and had an attitude about it. He clearly was upset that we had called him out on having a bug in the food. Unapologetic, he simply gave a refund and stated there was no infestation. Well we talked to corporate and were assured that it would be addressed as we were made to feel like we shouldn't order from them anymore since this new manager was giving us a hard time. We received a message from the manager, tim, who basically stated that I 'claimed' there was a bug in my food and that everything else we told corporate was fabricated. He only apologized for the confusion and our misinterpretation. I guess corporate just assumed he would handle it well, but he basically told us where to go in the most managerial way he could. We will not be returning. The manager, tim, also stated that the frequency of bugs is heightened in the summer months, so there's that. If you want the extra protein, go ahead and eat there. But why would you. When there are so many other restaurants near pecanland mall?? read more

I usually eat at McAlister's in Georgia but visited this location while traveling. It was early lunch time and I only waited behind one person. The staff is not particularly friendly to customers but just takes orders. I might as well be at Taco Bell. I overheard the staff complaining about management when I went for a tea refill. She didn't say anything besides sweet or unsweetened to me but continued her conversation with other staff. The service at my location is exceptional in Lawrenceville, GA so I was expecting the same here. My French dip was cold and not tasty and the bread tasted stale. The Reuben my mother had was terrific. They were very busy by noon so it looks like a very popular place. Maybe I hit the service on a bad day. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the lock on the stall door was broken. I won't be hurrying back to this location but McAlister's Deli is usually a great place to eat. read more

I'm pretty sure they haven't swept the floor here this month (it's 11/14). It's disgusting. If this is what the front of the house looks like, I'm scared to know what the food prep area looks like. We moved from one table to another because the floor was soaked with something and there was a wet floor sign there. We were there for 20+ minutes and no one came to clean up the wet floor. Food was pretty good (as long as I blocked my thoughts of the unsanitary prep area) and that's why they're getting 2 stars instead of 1. read more

Traveling from California and looking something healthy to eat when I spotted McAlister's on Yelp. Place reminds me a little bit of Panera Bread Restraunts. Clean inside, very friendly service. Food came out super fast. We ordered the Italian and Savannah chopped salads. Fresh mixed greens, juicy chicken, large portions. Recommend the sandwiches as well, fresh bread and ingredients.
