We have eat at this deli a number of times throughout the year's, It has almost been a fair experience, The food is usually pretty good, the pricing always seems to be a bit much, The tea which is one of the main reasons we stop here is usually very good, on a recent trip back from Shreveport we stop in, looking for a decent meal and some awesome tea, while the meal was fair, the tea was as weak as could be, now I know that all restaurants sometimes things are not just as we want them, and all in all I will give this one, just like all the other McAlister's a very good score, our visit to this restaurant was on 2-20-26, and the young man who waited on us was very nice and helpful, McAlister's keep up the good work, just don't be tight on the tea bags read more

I had the Veggie Spud and it looked dry before I put the cheese on it. It was good but it needed more salt because after you eat all the cheese off the top of the potatoes it doesn't have any seasoning. I think if it's cooked a little differently the taste would be so good. read more

Dirty. Over 15 tables with plates and food still on them. Floors dirty, no soap in bathroom, no ok when you're about to eat, and you don't realize there's no soap until AFTER you've used the restroom. Should have turned around and left, we just pretended to try to eat it. Wasted our time and money- save yourself! If you're looking for a place to pig out, this is the place for you!!! The menu has a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches for a quick bite to eat. Prices were relatively inexpensive but you get what you pay for. My friend and I shared an order of nachos and I got the big nasty as an entree. The nachos were average. Regular tortilla chips, melted cheese, chili, shredded cheese, jalapeños and guac. The big nasty was exactly what you would imagine a big nasty to be. The sandwich was on a white, toasted sub with provolone cheese and roast beef soaked in gravy. The sandwich was big, probably a dish that can be shared between 2 people if you don't have "normal" appetite. Overall, my food was good...it's nothing great, just your average, heart-stopping food. 3 stars for the food but 4 stars for service. read more

Maybe people will not agree with me or maybe I am too lenient but in this day and age where COVID is amidst us, I tend to be more understanding of wait times. Sure it took 30 mins to get our sandwiches that for some may think is just stacking ingredients together but the restaurant processes have greatly changed which is understandable. The restaurant offers delivery, to go, inside and outside seating where you can't seat yourself. Sure there are a lot of staff but their routines have been challenged and there is always a learning curve. They staff are nice and polite given all these challenges. Thank goodness for patrons who are more understanding. Food wise decently priced for the amount of food you are getting. I got a horseradish roast beef cheddar sandwich. The meat to sandwich ratio was good. I like a strong horseradish taste but not everyone does. But the bread - I love great bread and I love their bread. Sure I am in Louisiana and I should have eaten a gumbo but for restaurant that is open near my hotel - this beats out the Applebees next to it. read more

I would leave ZERO stars if I could. Just stopped in for lunch on our way back to TX. Should have turned around the second we walked in the door. The place is filthy, especially the bathrooms. Ordered our food and sat down. Took probably 15 minutes just to get 2 sandwiches. After we finished eating, just needed a refill and a to go box. I stood at the counter for like 5 minutes straight waiting for someone to at least apologize and say they'd be right with me.. Nothing. 2 people were taking orders and then 1 girl was filling up the ice machines. She made eye contact with me twice and so I thought she would come over once she was gone with the ice... Nope. And the cashiers looked at me too and just kept on taking orders one after the other. Terrible service. Will never be back. read more

They said they were "working on it." Twelve people who came in, ordered and were served their food. At 1:18 they said, "they are working on it." At 1:29 I received THE WRONG ORDER. Soup size was wrong, the drinks were missing. They could not find the bottled water (they did eventually). No utensils in the to go bag. Very disappointing. They were not short staffed at all. This was not a good experien,ce. No apologizes, no "may I offer you a drink if while you are waiting." I should have read YELP before I went to this restaurant, lots of two star reviews. I usually love McAlister's but I decided to try the new muffuletta sandwich because I was excited they started doing them! Boy, was I so so wrong about it. It tasted like it was out of the garbage can. I took one bite and had to spit it out. It was just horrible. So I had chips for supper. The Cinnabon cheese cake was delightful though! Had a great experience at McAlisters today. I haven't been to this location in a long time and was pleasantly surprised today. Everything we had was great. I got the savannah salad with chicken, cranberries, and almonds with balsamic vinaigrette. Big salad and was delicious. Husband got the turkey Reuben on rye, delicious sandwich, I tried it! I've been going to this McAlister's for over 10 years, and it really is one of my favorite places to eat in Monroe - and it's definitely my all-time favorite chain. I do have one piece of feedback: figure out the "Pick Up Line". Seriously, it's the pick-up line. It says so on the sign! This place has been on the downward slope for a while! My spicy southwest was missing cheese and relish. My husbands nachos came out with everything when he just asked for chili and shredded cheese. There were many people waiting on their orders and dirty tables all around with no one cleaning up tables. After 25 minutes, I asked how much longer with the plan of canceling my order because we had a long way to drive. The cashier told me we only had one more sandwich to go for our order to be filled, so we decided to wait .......25 minutes later I had to go ask again. It was sitting there ready to bag.
