We ordered using Uber eats while in West Monroe. Moat of the food came quick and at a good temp. Unfortunately thr one item i was looking forward to was not available which was the tomato and onion salad so we made a last min switch to mac and cheese. Let's start with the good the grilled chicken sandwich and the pecan cranberry chicken sandwich on the croissants were really good and definitely would order again. One of the best chicken pecan I have eber had - it was sweet, fresh and it did not have that heavy mayo. The carrot cake was OMG fresh, sweet, had nuts and the frosting soo good. The brookie however was dry, lack of flavor and just disappointing. The kids mini cookie was also a miss - slightly better than a cheap store bought. The kid potato would of been good with the bacon and cheese if it had came with the ordered sour cream. The cook on the potato was good but probably an item best ordered there as it arrived cold. The potato salad was not bad but also not memorable. The worst was the mac and cheese. The noodles were mush- way overcooked and the sauce was just not good. I would go back for the chicken pecan and that carrot cake. I do appreciate they were open a bit later. read more

We stopped here on the way to my parents house in Alabama to have lunch and stretch our legs. They were definitely prepared for coronavirus and all of the staff had masks and they had sanitizer all around as well as signs and they made sure that people did not just go sit down on their own. My fiancé had the southwest chicken sandwich and I had the black angus club. She let me try her sandwich and it was pretty bland. The description in the picture sounded great but the reality of it was less than impressive. My black Angus club was OK, I liked the horseradish sauce but the meet was tough and would tear. They have really good pickles here and the sweet tea is awesome. But the sandwiches do not live up to their pictures LOL. read more

To me, Jason's Deli is far superior. So I reviewed this restaurant as compared to other McAlister's. In that context, this one is superior. The tortilla soup is good. Employees were paying attention and my food was wrong after being asked 3 times what I wanted and when I told them they were spaced out. I am disappointed in McAlisters. The menu has been changed for the worse. I am a vegetarian and thusly I have limited choices but McAlisters made the list of options a little shorter. They now have 1 veggie sandwich that is OK, not good but if you are hungry you will eat it. There were 2 sandwiches but the new menu eliminated the veggie club. I had the roasted veggie soup and again, it was OK, maybe a 5 on a 1-10 scale. I will return quite infrequently. read more

We went for lunch yesterday and was not good at all. I got the ultimate nachos and the cheese wasn't melted or hot and was just a gloopy mess. My wife's fruit had a hair in it. When she alerted a worked she insisted that it was some pineapple, but my wife showed her the hair. She agreed and took it back to the manager. She then brought out a new fruit which my wife didn't want. So when we were leaving the worker apologized and said how sorry she was and she tried to get her meal comped but the manager wouldn't. Great food, great service. They have a new sandwich out called the Big Brown, which is the worst possible name ever for the best sandwich I've ever eaten at McAlister's. If you've never been to a McAlister's, it's mostly sandwiches, baked potatoes, and salads. The paninis taste like the ones you buy in the frozen food aisle, and the soup selection could be better, but otherwise, everything I've ordered has been pretty fresh. If you're like me and you can't make up your mind, ordering 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 a salad with an iced tea is about $10, which is more than reasonable. read more

This is always a busy location. My best advice is to order online and go straight to the pick up line. Then, you can either decide to sit down or take it with you. It's whatever you want you. Never had any problems with the customer service they provide, and I really like how they check you ticket and food to ensure the order is proper as you had ordered it. My family & I love the food @ this deli/eatery! However, they have begun to slack in precautionary steps to keep their patrons as well as themselves safe. They're NOT wearing gloves, mask are NOT covering their noses(if they even have a mask on), tables are dirty as well as the floor! When they first reopened they were keeping the establishment clean, most of the employees were wearing mask properly, wearing gloves and wiping tables off as well as the chairs. My family & I sat and watch to see what protocol they used once someone would leave a table. Well, that day they sprayed the disinfectant and smeared it with a paper towel; NO they did NOT clean the chairs!! We just looked @ each other and shook our heads!! We will not be going back to this particular location. We normally spend between $100 to $140 because this is our time to catchup with each other. This place used to be one of my favorite lunch spots when I lived in West Monroe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. This location is also super busy on Sunday nights after church. I love their spuds! If I weren't such a health freak now, I would definitely get a spud. Now that I watch what I eat, I order a sandwich. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. MMMM! My boyfriend ordered a New Orleans muffuletta with a side of macaroni and cheese. Very busy place for lunch. They do have a very large pot hole in the parking lot which could really do some damage. It has been there for awhile. Food is consistent and majority of employees are very nice and helpful. They only have cold water in the bathroom to wash your hands with and that can be a little tough going in the winter. Brr. We decided to give them another try since it was a busy day and we needed something quick and convenient. Our order was supposed to be ready at 12:50. Coworker arrives and there are no potatoes ready. It's the lunch hour and they haven't cooked any? AN HOUR LATER- my coworker goes to her car only to realize they didnt give her our drinks. She returns with lunch... We've all been waiting an hour. I ordered a spud with bacon, cheese, extra butter, and extra sour cream. Apparently this is too complicated an order. I received a dry potato with full strips of bacon placed on top. No cheese. Our order consisted of 3 potatoes. We received 6 mini packets of butter. (My coworker requested extra at the counter as a reminder, because this location is afraid of a global butter shortage apparently.) 6 mini packets of butter for 3 potatoes. That's extra- and we asked twice. I received no sour cream. My coworker stated that the staff was cutting up and cussing, no professionalism. She observed them complaining abt having to stay late, etc. She waited for AN HOUR, so I imagine she heard it all. HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT CHEESE AND BACON ON A BAKED POTATO, AND TOSS SOUR CREAM AND BUTTER IN A BAG? corporate must be giving incentives to locations who go thru the least amt of butter packets.
