A nacho stop is maybe the thing you need. I do like their sandwich's and large spuds. With that being said, if you have a short lunch break, you could do a Choose 2. A half salad and/or sandwich or half soup. Maybe a spud? My go to sandwiches are either the chicken and avocado -or the Italian. The Italian, I do not recommend for a to go order, because your bread and your clothes will be drenched in the messy oil- vinaigrette type substance on that particular sandwich. Same as the Reuben. I love their Reuben!! However, today I got a simple chips and cheese dip pick up. I am really glad how well they plan your drippy take homes, with a plastic wrapping for the nacho dip cheese. Wonderful! This is my second time coming in to study after class and the staff and manager are just so nice!

I went in for lunch today, and they got rid of the table side ordering on the app, which I loved. So I ordered pickup not realizing you can't do table side anymore. Well the guy delivering food to tables said he'd bring it out. 10 minutes more passed beyond my pickup time, and I went to the counter. He "forgot and got stuck on a call". No apology. I then waited a few minutes more before someone gave me my order from the back. And I had no honey mustard that was supposed to be in my order. This wouldn't normally bother me so badly, but it all took so long that lunch break was over. Honestly it's so expensive to eat here that I won't be back without a good coupon anyway. read more

Crap on a cracker folks! McAlister's strikes again! On our way to run an errand this evening, for a family member, we decided to stop by and pickup dinner. Well once again the customizations I did through the app on my sandwich that was part of my choose two DID NOT GET SEEN or were ignored! As part of my choose two i did half a Cuban with no Swiss cheese(replaced with cheddar and pepperjack),no yellow mustard(replaced with spicy brown mustard and horseradish Dijon spreads) and the other part was 1/2 pecanberry salad with extra Caesar dressing, no grilled chicken, croutons, gorgonzola crumbles sweet tea with strawberry and mango with bag of mini cookies. My hubby got lasagna soup and mac-n-cheese which was done fine. I have said it before, double check the order before pushing it out to the customer. Now I am beginning to think your appointment is not communicating with your location correctly, because this happened the last time with this specific sandwich. (Plus I still see the grilled chicken Caesar not showing chicken in the ingredients list, but you can add it for $3 and that issue is more than a year old.) If you let people customize their dinner, then make sure your app to store is fully functional! read more

I'd say usually McAllister's is quite good, but I think due to the area it is in the quality is not the best. Service is good at front of house but I don't think they care in the kitchen. Every time I will say small changes to something the person at the front will repeat it back just fine but I don't think I've ever gotten it to me right. I typically don't complain because I don't like wasting food. Biggest issue is the drive through. That ruins every single dine-in restaurant type experience. McAllister's did not need one. read more

I ordered the limited Cajun red beans and rice. I had red onions put on top, they were sliced not chopped, way, way to much. It was supposed to come with sausage, hardly any, if there was rice I didn't see or taste any. The beans & sauce was good. I don't recommend it. read more

The overall score was low mainly due to every thing being lackluster. Nothing was offensive but neither was it really good. Chili bowl was almost cool, not even lukewarm. No cheese, no onions. Nothing offered. One Sandwich was roast beef, cheddar with horseradish. Hardly any meat for almost $10 sandwich. Potato salad was similar to grocery store brand type. French dip was better. Great sandwich and salads. My favorite is pick 2, half a sandwich and half a salad. The French dip is great. Love their pecanberry salad as well. My daughter ordered the McAlester club, which is her favorite. The tea and lemonade are great. I'll order the potato with chipotle chicken with bacon. The chipotle sauce was just poured over the top of the potato, and it was very hard to get through to get to the potato. It would've been so much better if it was given on the side to pour throughout the potato and mix it up. I thought the chicken was supposed to be grilled, it wasn't, and the bacon was not done. it looks like they just waived the bacon over the heat and just chopped it up and threw it in the potato. To suggest that the employees working here would have a better shot at finding their own butt than actually getting an order correct in a timely manner, would be something I would never suggest If I were speaking of McAlister's in any other location, but somehow this location has accumulated the most improbable crew of people uncommitted to service. It's nothing for them for an order to take an hour, or for the food to be overcooked/old, for items to be missing or substituted in Togo, or for entire menus items to be reinterpreted as deconstructed allegories of recipes, missing entire ingredients of the whim of the deli artist. Terrible service is a understatement pickup lady I guess forgot about us after we were told to pull up. Went inside waited finally got my order with no apology as it had been sitting on the rack. We were then given the wrong order and had to drive back. Once again no apology and then was told we ran off too fast for them to catch their own mistake. I ate there 3 times last week food was always good , but today I ordered a McAlister's club and it had a disgusting amount of mayonnaise and the bacon was so burnt u could taste it , and on top of that y'all forgot the honey mustard. Online order was incorrect. I didn't find this out until I arrived home. I was not going back to have it corrected. The only reason I gave it this many stars was the employee working the window was very pleasant and greeted me with a smile. I requested Mayo instead of mustard but received mustard. Then requested a brownie but received a brookie. The sprite was out of syrup & needed to be replaced. You can't order from the pickup window not even just a soup and tea. Then when you use the app they make you wait 30 minutes to get your food to you because someone is too lazy to go to thanks sign and deliver Even though a tip was left. You will have to return to pickup window. So if they ask you to pull forward and wait my advice is no unless you want cold soup. No crackers or utensils for the soup guess I'll drink. read more

I love McAlisters and love they are in Muskogee. Sadly last couple of times we have gone the service was not customer friendly. If at all caring that they were even there. I want to support as many businesses as possible during this time but I can't support a business who doesn't focus on friendly employees. The last time it took over 35 min for our food to come out no problem they were busy but I saw two employees walking around the lobby doing nothing. It was actually almost comedic because he was in a daze and didn't speak to a single customer. Then a manager comes running out in such a hurry he didn't even or could even take the time to be a manager and see all the issues. Poor guy I really felt for him. I really just wish the company can see this and come down to Muskogee and do a secret shopper test. That way they can see what everybody is experiencing. If your short staffed... no worries. If your busy... no worries. If your customer service is horrible there is no excuse. Even when all those things are going on the customer service can change around any experience.
