We went on a Sunday afternoon around 1:00. After ordering, we waited for 30 minutes before requesting a check on where our food was in the process. We got 1/3 dishes to our table after that. Grub hub was the problem. I went to the website on my phone & placed the order for takeout. Upon arrival my order was not ready. NP they were busy & doing a good job of getting orders out. After 45 minutes I asked about my order. They found it in the delivery section not in the pick up section. I asked why & was told when orders are placed on GRUBHUB they don't know if that are for pickup or delivery. Lesson learned: don't use GRUBHUB 3 stars because of GH. Have had a couple of their sandwiches and they have been good. They get the 4 stars for their excellent customer service, the cleanliness, and mostly for their HUGE baked potatoes, queso cheese and chips, and lemonade. I am pretty sure what they do for their huge baked potatoes is take two of the largest potatoes they can find and then cut them and push them together so it looks like one huge one. It's kinda hard to tell once you add cheese and bacon in there. They are always cooked perfectly which is a big compliment because so many restaurants either under or overcook a potato. Hubby and I usually share one of the potatoes and an order of the queso cheese and chips. Love the yellow queso cheese; it's some of the best I've had. If you run out of chips, they will happily bring you more. There is no waiter service, but they have employees constantly walking around. They notice when your glasses are low and offer to get you refills. They notice when you are finished with your food and offer to take your plates. It's a nice touch. Also, make sure to try the sweet tea or lemonade... or both! Unlimited refills, just like on soft drinks. If you order tea and then want lemonade, they'll let you have that as your refill instead. I do love their lemonade. Chick Fil A and McAlister's are my two favourite places to get lemonade. As for their sweet tea, I'm from the South and believe it or not, I don't drink tea; but, the sweet tea from here is really darn good. read more

This is my second time in this establishment and the young black gentleman up front was super friendly and even signed to me (I'm deaf) which was a lovely surprise. Went through Uber Eats and WAITR for delivery...never again. Uber Eats sandwich was cold and the bread caught fire in the toaster oven. Inedible and my entire house reeked of burnt bread. Not familiar with the area (we are from Los Angeles), we got excited when we saw a "deli". They should rename the restaurant soups, salads and sandwiches. It is NOT a deli. Just a quick lunch but it was a make or break situation for us and it could have gone either way. First, the bad.... Free tea day was a few days ago and this restaurant was out of guacamole, carrot cake and other things. Our cheese dip for the nachos was thin and runny, but then the manager stepped in and made a good situation out of it. He replaced the cheese dip with a new batch and added a side of chili then came to make sure we were doing well, replenish our teas and cleared dishes. This location... is just bad. I love Mcallister's, but this was disappointing. My husband, and I were spending our honeymoon across the street at the Hilton Garden Inn, and we didn't want to go far, but get something quick, but yummy... Unfortunately it was neither. We go in, there's maybe 8 people in the foyer waiting, but only 3 of those were in line for the registers to order. We were confused wondering if it was really busy, or people were deciding...? And I guess my face read confusion, and a man told me to go on ahead, and get in line, that they've been here about the same time as everybody else standing around, and that's been about 45 minutes just waiting on their to-go orders. That should have been a red flag, but we were hungry so we went to go order. Went straight to a register, and the girl had a serious attitude problem. She's acting like she's had a line out the door, and had to rush us. I hesitated for a second cause I lost what I wanted on the board, and she snapped, "Are you READY or not?!" Im already cranky from starving, but I bit my tongue. As I start to say, "Roast be--" she interrupts me with, "What side?" Umm okay, kudos for you knowing what I was gonna finish saying, but what if I wanted to take something off? But I let it go, and said potato salad. She snapped back with, "Drink?!" While bugging her eyes out at me... At this point I'm really confused. Nobody is in line.. within those 2 minutes almost all of the people waiting on to-go orders got their food, and left, so it was just my husband, and I, and one other man waiting for his order, and only 4 other people in the restaurant sitting and eating. I just said told her sweet tea. She then snapped at my husband for his order, she gave us our number, and we went to find a table. Next bad thing. This location was disgusting. Like nobody has cleaned since they opened the doors at 10am, and it was now 7:30pm. Finding a table was impossible. They were mostly all covered in trash, food all over them, sticky, crumbs.. I'm not sure what was going on cause when I look up at the registers there's 6 of these teenage kids all talking, or texting on their phones. I walk up asking if they could just wipe down the only table that wasn't destroyed. The response I get is a glare from one of the girls, informed me they were all busy, but there was napkins by the trash cans. I almost flipped out. But I remained calm. My husband wiped the table down as best as he could, and we waited on our food. Now.. the wait for our food. Like I said 4 other people were the only ones in there, and they were finishing up eating by the time we sat down. Which meant it was just our food needing to be made.. BUT apparently it takes almost 50 minutes to make two sandwiches, and scoop two sides of potato salad cause that's how long it took to get our food. Talk about aggravating, but that's not the most aggravating part. The most aggravating part is, the teenage girl who told me she was busy came with our food, quite literally threw our plates down, not asking whose who, takes our number, and walks away without saying ONE WORD. This is astonishing to me considering every McAllister's I've been too they ask if everything came out okay, if we needed anything else, a refill.. Yeah, no. Not here. We weren't the only ones though. When we were finishing up, the same girl went to drop off another tables plate, ripped the number off the table, and as she goes to walk away the customer asked her, "Um excuse me? Do you have a problem?" She sarcastically snapped no at him, and started to walk away again, and he had to get her attention AGAIN just to ask her for some ketchup. Before we left I went upfront to get a refill to go, and the register girl from earlier ripped the cup out of my hand without asking me what I had to drink, so guess who got Coke? And guess who got an eye roll when informing her that I actually had sweet tea? I don't know what's up with this location, but it's just a building full of rebellious, angry teenagers apparently. If the manager was going for a theme he got it! I get it teenagers need jobs, and give them some slack.. But this was just ridiculous. It had nothing to do with their work ethic, it was their attitudes. Overall, terrible service, disgusting, not a clean spot, long wait, cold food, and just a terrible honeymoon dinner. I live 5 minutes from this location. I called in an order with Barry who was very nice, who understood that I did not want my drinks made until I arrived so I didn't order them until I got there. I arrived within the 15 minute time he said food would be ready and it WAS! I brought it home and it was delicious as always! Very good management staff who is willing to work with customers! Had a call in order and realized it was wrong and some of the food was a little hard when we sat down to eat, called back and the kitchen manager, Lynn, was very helpful and personally remade our order and even refunded my full order even when our attitude was quite a bit distasteful!
