Went to eat with a friend the other night as Zaxby's usually doesn't disappoint, and they did not. We walked in ahead of the dinner rush it appeared and were able to place our orders quickly. The girl at the counter was so sweet and actually spelled my name right! I was impressed. I had the chicken bacon ranch fries, and they were divine. Fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. I had to get a to go box because I couldn't eat it all. My only complaint, if I had one, is that the music was a little loud. Other than that, it was great, and I will definitely return. read more

We're used to finding Zaxby's all over AR, but in LA?!? Rolling through W Monroe, and BOOM - Zaxby's! Kewl! My wife got her go-to standard Chicken Sandwich Meal, and I jumped into unknown territory with a Cobb Salad! Not only did I have plenty of Fried Chicken; but I filled out my entire food pyramid for the month with Lettuce, Tomatoes, Boiled Eggs, Cheese, diced Cucumbers, Ranch Dressing and - gasp - BACON!! Most of my food pyramid is reserved for bacon, so it is hard to overstate the significance of this obviously healthy meal. Keen to go back for more health food! read more

Their salads are fresh and tasty. Living on the road and eating poorly, a good salad goes a long way in balancing the diet. This restaurant is clean and service is good. My first visit to one of the stores in this chain I've been seeing advertised as I drove from TX to FL. The food seems a good value. The service was quick. I like their seasoning on the french fries. The toast is excellent, reminds me of Sizzler's. The chicken fingers were decent, the sauces good. I like the decor. Parking lot here had no shade. It's a little after 1PM as I sit down and the dining room needs more a little cleaning up - but no one attended to that during my half hour here. read more

As much as I wanted to love this because I love Zaxby's, it was not all that! It was mid, at best. I am typically a loaded fry person but I am always a quality person, which this meal lacked. It was slapped together. I would prefer my cheese melted. The fries were room temp. Service was quick through the drive through. I would try this again at another location. read more

This place used to have great service. Not sure what happened, but it all went downhill. The last two times in a row have been less than stellar. The cashier spent about 10 minutes trying to ring up two salads. Then we saw later (after we had already left) that she charged my friend for a water and an extra dressing that we didn't order. After she finally had our order through, we got our drinks and waited...and waited. 15 minutes went by and I was really getting impatient. I mean, all we ordered was two salads. I got up to get a refill on my tea, only to see that they had already pulled the tea containers. It was still an hour and a half before closing. I went to the counter to ask for a refill and to ask where our salads were, that we had been waiting for 15 minutes. The guy said something about making fresh chicken and that it would be right out. Zaxby's IS chicken. That's all they serve. When we came in, there were only two customers in the entire restaurant. Coupled with the time it took the cashier to ring our order up, I find it very hard to believe that they were out of chicken, let alone making fresh chicken. Another 10 minutes went by before they FINALLY called us. And by calling, I mean the cashier leaning over the counter and yelling, "Hey! Sir?" instead of calling our number like they normally do. Since two more customers had come in, ordered, and sat down in the time it took to get my drink and find out why our salads were taking so long, we didn't know if she was talking to us or them. It was ours. So in total, 35 minutes went by between the time we were placing our order to the time our order was ready. Normally, even on semi-busy nights (which this wasn't) it doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes. Since this was the second time in a row that the service was terrible, I won't be going back anytime soon. Hopefully, when I finally do, their service will have improved. If not, then Zaxby's in West Monroe will join O'Charley's on my list of places I'll never step foot in again. read more

Zaxby's is a good place to eat! The reason I gave it three stars is because it gives small amounts of food. I ordered a kids meal on delivery and they gave me such a small box of chicken and French fries. They need more food amounts. The staff in the drive thru aren't really nice. Just a warning. I was in Monroe and wanted something quick that I don't have access to in Shreveport once. Plus, my wife was with me and I wanted to introduce a new place to her. We pulled through the drive thru about thirty minutes before closing and the service was spectacular. They have very friendly staff. Further, our food was made to order, which is their policy, but I'm sure some places fudge on that. This place has similar fare to Raising Cane's, but they had fried pickles. The pickles made our night. It may be awhile before we see another Zaxby's, but it's definitely on our radar. read more

Stopped by while passing through because we don't have Zaxby's where I live. It was the normal lunch rush, but nothing too crazy. Every order was taking 35-45 minutes to be filled. Some people were asking for refunds and leaving. Maybe the slowest fast food service I have ever seen. Our order was correct and up to Zaxby's standards when we finally got it. read more
