They sent a technician who showed up promptly as scheduled and asked which unit and I showed him he opened the line and sucked it out with his shop vac and put it back together and said ok, you are good to go. And he was back in his truck in 15 minutes after arriving. I received a bill for $224. It was broken down to $97 diagnostic fee As second lie was around $127 for CO2 or Nitrogen to blow out the line. Since I knew that no CO2 or Nitrogen was used, I assumed that was a billing error since I have this procedure done at my home in Florida once or twice a year and the charge is normally $79 to $89. I called to report the error but was told that the owner would call me back. He did and he said "No, the bill is correct. That is what everyone in Atlanta charges for clearing a drain line. In fact, we are cheaper than most" I paid the bill, but I also went to the internet to check. I found that the price for that procedure in Atlanta ranged from $75 to $250. Now that I know that they are one of the most expensive companies in Atlanta, I wonder how many thousands of dollars I have been overcharged.

After the home inspection was completed, it was discovered the existing units needed to be replaced. The seller replaced all three units (without us choosing the hvac company) middle of April 2018. The owner chose Lanier HVAC to install the three new units. We went ahead with the purchase of the house thinking the hvac units would no longer be of any concern with the exception of regular maintenance for awhile. (Boy, were we very wrong on such wishful thinking). We closed on the house on May 22nd. On June 18th, the flooring company we had installing new flooring in our basement discovered water in the floor of the basement, in which was quickly found to be from one of the new units installed by Lanier HVAC. My husband immediately tried to reach out to Lanier HVAC (since they had just installed the new units), but his calls were ignored. So, I then tried calling... The owner answered my call, I told him about the leak, he asked who the previous owner of the house was, after I informed him of the previous owner, he then replied with very harsh negative hateful words and told me he had absolutely no interest in checking the units or coming out, then proceeded to hang up on me. Not originally being from Gainesville, I was in complete shock that a company or owner would act in such a manner towards someone. I'm from a small hometown where customer service is a priority, so I called the local hvac company from my hometown to come out. Even though they are extremely busy, they made us a priority, understand the importance and the damage of a water leak. The technicians quickly discovered serious issues with the units. The basement and top floor units had no filters in them, the drains in the basement and middle floor were not hooked up correctly, no turn-ups placed in any of the overflow pans, the basement unit had no freon & the third floor unit had very little freon. They also had to raise the air handler, hook up the aux drain out of the pan, install PVC pipe and coupling on the third floor unit. I would highly suggest not using this company. We realize the owner is gonna try to dispute this review or come back with negative words like he has to everyone else that has left the company a bad review. We can back up our claims with documentation and also show the water damage of what happened from his company not installing or hooking up HVAC units correctly. We can't help but to wonder if this was intentionally done to us. The owner can't claim his company did not do the work or install the units, because it's recently been brought to our attention that he actually has pictures of our house / units posted on his personal facebook page where Lanier HVAC installed the three units for the previous owner in April 2018.

He told me only a hack and an idiot would do what A & K did. I'm not going into details but take my word, do not hire this guy. I had TemperaturePro out this afternoon. They charged the system again for half the price that A & K charged and told me to see how long this will last.
