The technician assured me the dampers were functioning properly and instead recommended repairs. After another HVAC company later diagnosed the dampers as the actual issue, I was frustrated that my original concern had been missed. After posting my review, the owner personally reached out to discuss my experience. He apologized for the misdiagnosis and explained that the replacement parts they use are commercial-grade and higher quality than the lower-cost versions I had found online, which helped me better understand the pricing. While I still wish the original issue had been correctly identified, I appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the charges, and offer a partial refund to make things right. Although my experience with the initial service visit was disappointing, I believe it's important to recognize when a business stands behind its work and makes a genuine effort to resolve a customer's concerns. I called him and he was available to come out within a couple hours. When he got here and inspected the unit, he immediately identified the issue saying we had a bad capacitor. He had one on his truck and had it changed out in minutes and we again had working AC. I asked him to quote some more services and his fees were more than reasonable. Based on his repair service and recommendations he quoted, I believe him to be an honest professional. I will be using SP Heating & Air for all future HVAC service and I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors.

After receiving a few quotes it seemed that Comfort Atlanta had the most competitive price with options as well. They had already gained my trust previously. Their estimate covered everything needed. When they came to do the work the price had been changed, and he wrote on the work order that I had agreed to the price. He is wily and dishonest! After that day, the owner just showed up at my house without an appointment. The owner is not trustworthy, and I do not recommend this business! That evaluation was part of several issues that led me to run away from a money-trap property. Eventually, I found a home to purchase and have used Kennon for HVAC work since. My AC decided it was time for a stunt in the middle of the hottest week of the summer on July 3rd. Kennon was running holiday hours and staff for the weekend, not surprisingly, but they still managed to work me in and quickly replaced the capacitor. Christopher was quick and very kind.
