This is exactly what I got with Precision Audio Service. I walked into the front door and was overwhelmed by stacks of old stereos and other devices. It actually reminded me of my own work space when I was repairing/rebuilding computers. I knew right away that I had found the right place. The owner (Jeff -- sorry if you spell it Geoff), came out and greeted me. I told him what I had and what was wrong with it and he said he would be able to fix it. A handshake sealed the deal. I left and quickly returned with my old stereo unit. He attacked the repairs in 1 day. Fixing a variety of things that were wrong with it (fuses, springs, general cleaning, etc). The final cost was very reasonable. The attention to detail, quality of the repair, and speed of service were well worth the price. My old record player is back to playing the sweet sounds of vinyl! This place can be a bit tricky to get to because you can't go across the street from Brompton road. I recommend you come up Main st., headed towards Transit, and make a right into the private parking lot. The entrance is the door all the way on the right. I found him on Craiglist on Sunday, and he was over at my apartment Monday at 1pm. He just left and it looks absolutely amazing! No visible cables, just my 32" Sony Bravia all by its lonesome about 4' up the wall! He finished in under 2 hours and the entire thing cost me less than $250 including the mounting hardware. I was so happy that I referred him to a random neighbor in the elevator and then tipped him $50. If I'd used one of the big box companies I'd have waited at least a week and paid a heck of a lot more.
