When you spend over a $1000 on a washer it should work more than 12 months, and if it breaks should be repaired quickly.

The installers arrived on time and were somehow able to install both washer and dryer into our tiny "closet" utility room, which previously had a stacker type of washer/dryer from 1985. We have had no trouble at all with either unit - both installed perfectly and running beautifully (every day since purchase!). The installers were professional and personable, and we could tell this work was something they had a lot of experience with. This past week we were helped on the showroom floor by Deb, who advised us on our options replacing our microwave, gave us the pluses and minuses of various models, and we picked the perfect one for us. Again, the installers (different pair of guys) were on time, professional, friendly, and only took a few minutes to install - amazing! Both pairs of installers called beforehand to give us the heads-up, which we really appreciate. We will return for a new fridge and range soon!

Hoping there might be some consideration for purchasing a new replacement - there was no offer and it was suggested we call the manfacture. The manfacture only interacts with dealers. Thatcher's response when asked about our options of purchasing another, better quality handrail - was "we don't have other options and don't sell many handrails". It was a frustating. We pruchased a handrail that fastened to the steps for $50 vs our Thatcher handrail that had a plate that slid under the tub for $300. Given our experience, the $50 is a better design for less $$$. Other Experiences. Our other experiences - purchase, install, maintenance have been good, no problems/concerns.

The large gas BBQ I was buying came to just under $500, so I bought additional items to bring my purchase above $500. When I received my first the account statement, there was no such discount reflect. I called Sears customer assistance and it was a total waste of time -- I got a rude person in a foreign country who insisted there is no such offer in effect, only a $20 credit, which she granted me. Since I didn't think to photograph the signs at the store I have no evidence. And I purchased weighs over 100 pounds and it will take two hours to disassemble and an eight hour drive (I live in Chicago) to get it back to the store. Basically I feel scammed, and it's Sears inability to live up to their promises and their poor customer relations that's making them obsolete in a world soon to be dominated by Amazon and a few others who live up to their promises to customers.

Used to always be greeted when arriving and asked if they could help me find something. Today 2 customers in the store and 4 or 5 employees. No one acknowledged my presence until I went to check out. These smaller town stores can't compete on price or selection sp they need to excel with service. I'm hopeful they will bring it back again. Not the 1st time I've experienced this change just my 1st review of it.
