I called on the Monday before Thanksgiving hoping I could still get an arrangement delivered to my boyfriend's parents the day before the holiday. No problem! I gave clear instructions that I didn't want anything to feel too FTD-y and absolutely no lilies. I also said I would prefer no sunflowers, and that I liked low and tight arrangements. Outstanding service and a great product... You can't really ask for anything more! I swung by around 4:45pm the afternoon of my wife's birthday to pick up a last second bouquet and was greeted and helped by Candy--the sweetest, most helpful, and most positive person ever! (I actually thought she was the owner based on her positive, get-it-done attitude) She helped me put together a bouquet in no time and made sure everything was fresh and beautiful. She was awesome! I had reservations at Salt Greek Grille for 6:30pm and the thought hit me that it would be nice to surprise my wife with flowers waiting for her at our table... so I asked if McCool could deliver the flowers between 6:00pm-6:15pm (late notice I know... I'm a poor planner). Unfortunately, they close at 6:00pm, the only person available to complete the delivery would be leaving soon, and Candy's shift ended at 6pm (meaning she would have to stay to close for the evening). No delivery was not a big deal given my ridiculously late request/notice. I started to think of how to work the flowers into the evening some other way... but thats when Candy said, "Actually, I'll just bring your flowers to Salt Creek on my way home!"
