My interactions with Pam started out promising, but deteriorated. Her website promised certain…read morefocus areas that my 12-week old pup needed help with, but through 2 sessions, few - if any - were covered. Then there was a multi-week gap in communication and eventually a text saying she didn't have the time or energy to help my pup out, all despite me having pre-paid for a 5 session pack. To make matters worse, she overcharged me by $100 for the pack. The only silver lining is that I was able to negotiate a partial refund. The whole experience soured me on Pam 4 Paws.

We found Pam upon a recommendation from a client who said she was amazing. We soon learned her…read moreknowledge of training pups was more than we could have asked for. We purchased her puppy package for in-home training sessions with our French Bulldog, Greta. Not only did Pam teach us how to interact with her, but Greta LOVED her and learned so much from her visits. At only four months, Greta is now potty trained, comes on command, sits on command, gives, 'hi-fives,' is crate trained, started to learn how to go on walks with a harness, knows command, 'up,' and 'off,' can fetch, and we learned how to calm her when she gets over stimulated. She even began some skateboarding with her! Of course we have to put in the work to continue to in grain these things in a puppy, but I can't even begin to convey the wealth of knowledge Pam imparted on us, so that we could acclimate more into puppy life and so Greta fit into ours. Pam teaches the human as well as the dog giving you a wealth of information, going above and beyond so that you know why a dog does the things they do, how to manage the behavior, and how the dog will absorb the training. She eased my worries and I was pleasantly surprised how expertly she worked with little ones. I can't recommend her services enough.

Most awful place to take any animal wasted my time my pets time and money…read more Told me all labs came back normal and that he didn't know how to read an x ray and the lady was extremely rude for no reason at all and called my dog fat while he is in the worst condition I've ever seen my dog in and the doc told me I didn't know what I was talking about Long story short I took my dog here they charged an arm and a leg for an x ray and blood work with unsanitary equipment for me to leave and take my dog elsewhere and for me to be told he had acute kidney failure and he didn't have much time left with us Thanks for wasting the time I had with my baby boy and ignoring the blood work very unprofessional and should not be allowed to run a vet clinic with half a brain and a a missing ceiling Do better or don't run an animal clinic in such a filthy environment

Just wanted to throw in my two cents worth. If you want a vet that will nod politely and listen…read morepatiently as you offer your own brilliant diagnosis while quoting the things you read on the Internet, this is probably not the vet for you. If you want to feel like you are the most important creature in the room because you are the customer, this is certainly not the vet for you. But if you want an experienced vet who will treat your pet as if they are the only important creature in the place, you just might want to give CCAH a try. After five years of endless visits with two aging cats and my friend's two dogs, I can say without any reservations that I will always start with CCAH. I say "start" because they will send you elsewhere if your pet needs care for which they are not the best option. But all of this is really just prologue. The thing that triggered this review was the thing that meant the most to me. I had no idea how important this was until it came time to do the one thing I had been dreading for years. My dear pet crawled up on my chest near the end, buried her head against my shoulder, and said in her own unmistakable way, "We have reached the end." On that day, I received the one thing money cannot buy and no one can fake: I had a vet who cared, not about me, but about my pet. At that point, there was nothing else I needed or wanted. And, for that, I will be forever indebted to Dr. Wayman.
