Even though I never have any problems with the animals I get at petsmart, their fish "experts" always have something rude, unnecessary, or obnoxious to me. The fish I bought were going to go into a larger tank with plenty of space and I wanted to purchase one more fish, but the employee was rude and told me I could buy the 3 I had, but I could not buy the other one I wanted. She didn't give me a choice or anything. As far as I'm concerned the customer is always supposed to be right to a certain extent. They're not friendly here. read more

I came here in search of items that will be needed for my future bullmastiff puppy, the store is a nice place to come to, clean, large aisles and a lot of products for what ever animal you own or plan on owning. I looked at dog kennels, bedding, dog dishes, and many other things, what sticker shocked me was the price of the grain free healthy dog food and not the chicken by product kind of food. Gabby has gotten chunky over the winter, so I hit our favorite place after our walk tonight: Petsmart. She loves getting dressed up and going cause she's so cute and gets lots of attention. I went in on a mission to find some good quality weight control dog food for her, since it's getting warmer out we are walking every day and I want to get some of this extra weight off of her. There was a rep for Blue Buffalo dog food in the store, and she was incredibly helpful and nice! She didn't try to just sell me on the brand of food she was repping for, she gave me real info on what to look for on the ingredients list of different dog foods and what to avoid. She really was very helpful, and I decided to buy a 6lb bag of blue buffalo weight control just to try it out. It's expensive as far as dog food goes, but if it helps not only her weight but eyes, skin, and coat too, it will be all worth it. After talking with the rep, the vet from the store came out and gave Gabby water(she gets real excited in petsmart and pants like crazy). I had such a good experience in the store, as always, but this time was exceptionally informational and great! Petsmart ROCKS! read more

This is one of my favorite PetSmart stores in the area. The store is always clean and the employees are extremely helpful (I don't like the store manager because I find her rude/judgmental but we can't like everyone) I know going into this particular location that I will find exactly what I am looking for and if by chance it's not in stock, the employees have no problem finding the item/answer you are looking for. It also doesn't hurt that my dogs love the store and many of the employees :) read more

This review is for the GROOMING SALON ONLY. This is my first review even though I've had multiple bad experiences. The first thing being a couple months ago my dog was still too young according to our vet to get a rabies shot. Over a certain age Petsmart will deny you service without a rabies shot which is understandable. What is not understandable is at first I was told that they require a rabies shot at six months of age. Well my dog was approaching that six month mark and he needed his nails trimmed. Since what I was told I was thinking I still have a little bit of time to go get his rabies shot since the vet was booked out three weeks in advance. I would have the Petsmart they denied the service and told me that they have to have the rabies shot by five months old. In between the three weeks I had to wait for the vet my dog ended up breaking two nails that could've been easily avoided. Fast-forward to today I come in to get a nail trim I called first to schedule an appointment but the lady on the phone told me that it's not necessary and to just come walk in. As all of the nail trims and grinds can be done by walk in. I start speaking to a heavier set male I did not get his name because if I stopped I asked for his name after this experience I would've yelled at him. Me not being a Karan I didn't want to do that even tho he pissed me off. I proceeded to tell him about the experience that I listed in the top of this post. 1st thing is he proceeds to cut me off and talk over me whenever I'm trying to explain the situation and tells me that management has changed and what not. Now the only reason why i bothered telling him this is because I needed my others puppies nails trimmed. She's a little under four months and guess what for some reason no the minimum requirement for a rabie shot is four months of age. So yet again the rules are being switched which could cause the same thing that happened to my other dog(breaking a nail). In hindsight I'm kind of glad that he told me this rule because he was clipping my dogs nails super quickly. I don't know if he was just busy and trying to rush through it or what but he ended up going way too short on one of my dogs nails it made him bleed. It's just astonishing to me if they did not have the time to do walkkins why do they allow them. I even tried to schedule an appointment to do this but for them to rush through a walk-in when they just told me that I could do one is a load of bullshit. If you ever walk in there to get your dogs nails trimmed and you see a younger fat dude with a little bit of chin scruff don't let him near your dog. The manager ended up refunding me for the nail trim however it doesn't make up for yet another broken nail then I have to deal with. And every time and it was broken it takes a lot of time and attention between saltwater soaks to keep it disinfected, bandages, and the fact that I now have to carry my dog outside because he dose not want to walk on it. Employee if you ever read this SLOW DOWN AND DO YOUR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. And one more note don't talk over customers you where very rude and careless and what you did to my dog is border line unacceptable. Your lucky I'm not a Karen and decided to walk away because I knew chewing you would would do nothing but make you hate your customers more and probably hurt someone else's dog. So kindly quit your job. read more

Honestly, it doesn't even deserve one star. I let my dog get her hair cut here, and won't ever again. I feel so bad for her.. she came back uneven, unwashed, and half of her back end was just SHAVED!!!!! HALF. When you look directly at her from the back, her legs are shaved straight down the middle. Long ways. My poor baby looks TERRIBLE. PetSmart, shame on you for charging 60 dollars for such shit service. I could open my own doggie salon and charge 10 bucks for better service than that. We took our new puppy to petsmart to help socialize her and to pick up a new bone. We are visiting from TX and she didnt like my mother in laws dogs. So she was in her crate a lot. She needed to get out and stretch her legs more. We met an employee with red hair that said she worked with rescue dogs. She was awesome! She gave us some great ideas to help socialize our new puppy. I wish I could remember her name. I want to say thank you and to let you know your tip about the hot dogs seems to help our girl with new people! read more

I usually go to a private groomer for my Bichon but she was unavailable so I took a chance with Petsmart grooming. The lady that cut my dog's hair was very friendly and I could tell she loved animals. She really listened to what I wanted and I was very happy with the result. My dog is usually mad at me for the day after being groomed and pouts a lot, but she didn't after this experience. I don't know what they did different, but given how happy my pup was, I will be back. And the cost was only a few dollars more that my regular groomer. read more

The staff at this petsmart are so friendly and attentive, they always welcome you when you walk in the door and are always willing to help you find whatever it is you need. Ok, I know I have been slacking here lately. I realize my check in status may not give an accurate account of my activities but Petsmart, has become a pretty frequent stop in our weekly routine. Our puppy is now almost 7 months old, we got him at 6 weeks old in September. The very first day on our way home with him we stopped here to get him a collar and leash and have been back many times since. Bentley loves going and seeing all the other dogs, we love how helpful and friendly the sales associates are and their vast knowledge of animals and the products they sell is great. I have yet to have a question not answered. Last night was my weekly visit to get food. He just loves the Fresh Pet Vitals out of the refrigerator. Although we feed a brand of dry food they don't carry we buy this and mix it on his dry food. The sales here are awesome and they have a great selection. I usually go in for food and come out with a lot more, I can't come home without a new toy. Can I? read more

I am very disappointed with the grooming salon this am. Took my dog for her rescheduled appointment this am. She was scheduled with a different person than usual. The last few times she has been there, it was pointed out that she had stool under her tail. So today, i told "Sammie/Tammie/Jasmine" that i cleaned my dog up this am, that she has old abscess that is closed and to be careful. She gets down on floor, behind my dog, yanks up her tail pulling her off ground, reaches under her and lifts her further. Without even listening to me or really looking at area, she proceeds to tell me they cannot bathe my dog with the " abcess", that it's their policy. The ste is closed, has been closed, has always been there on previous baths, and is not an issue. Without further discussion with me, she basically dismissed us. I understand policy, but I am the owner, I am fully aware of the chronicity of the abscess, know that it is closed and has been, and was addressed by vet last month. It's a non issue. If she would have taken the time to talk to me, to be more gentle with my dog, I would not be so upset. Poor customer service, for both owner and dog. This happened 070818 at 0800am. read more

First, I want to say that this review is mainly for the pet groomers. The store it self is clean and very nice.. Except for the fish girls, they are a little smug and if they grill me about how many fish I have in my aquarium , I want to scream haha.. Anyways the last time I took my dog there, when i picked him up, his poor belly was very pink then I noticed his nipples were cut and so was his penis. It was actively bleeding And some nicks were stabbed up. I was so upset. The groomer told me he had mats, I tools her my little dogs usually has a few matts and for the last 7 years, he has never been nicked like that. no apologies, nothing.. I told the manager I was not going to pay and she said no, she would take some money off but I had to pay, even after showing her... What a rip off.. I now go across the street pay HALF the price and get a great groom for my dog,.we had a bad experience... read more
