"TRUX" DBA: "Save your trip and get you back on the road guys"…read more Ok, I get it. Most Yelpers are into the food and the like. But you really need to read this... Trux is a BIG outfit. Large equipment everywhere, mechanics and techs scurrying around trying to maintain some type of order with rigs, big rigs moving in as fast as they get them out. You get the picture? BUSY! To add to the mental picture I'm trying to create, the facility is modern and clean. Why do I add this to the description of the place? This is a serous operation! Here I come. Rolling into Missouri from Arkansas I realized I had zero trailer brakes. I had most of the trip in front of me, hauling some fairly precious cargo, (and heavy) I needed to get the trailer fixed. It was a late Friday afternoon. Everyone I reached out too was (local trailer outfits looking to start their weekend... not that I blame it them) saying "call us Monday" As you know, it's a loooong time between Friday and sometime Monday when you are on the road. We were on the N. West Bypass road from a recommendation to a shop that we visited that flat said sorry, your out of luck! As I pulled out and back on the bypass my wife noticed a large company just ahead. First impression is that they wouldn't even consider a simple 4x4 pulling a 24' trailer. The trailers they were working on were larger then my entire outfit! Cut to the chase... Not only did they work me into there schedule, they treated us as if we owned the place! I'm not exaggerating here. They pulled a job out of one bay just to let us back in. This is that moment you hope your polished up on your backing skills because half the crew was watching lol! The associate who helped us was attentive and very professional. He performed a Initial assessment and within minutes had a technician working on our trailer. They had us in and out within a hour for less then you would spend buying a few burgers for lunch. This outfit no doubt saved our weekend and kept us on schedule. A Simply AMAZING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. BRAVO Trux Trailer and Tractor Repair. BRAVO!

Scott and company at Trux do things right! I recently…read morepurchased a Wells Cargo trailer from them, the buying experience and thier service was spectacular. We came to a price agreement over e-mail and they processed my deposit over the phone and scheduled the delivery. When I arrived for the pickup, the bill of sale and temporary licence were ready to go and installed. I soon realize that I had brought the wrong sized trailer ball and that my tow vehicle did not have the correct wiring harness. They have a helpful parts department that promptly coordinated the modifications I needed,. Within minutes they had a technician taking care of both of my problems. The service invoice for the modifications was more than reasonable, and it turns out that the business owner himself performed the service work (as my service needs were unexpected and his regular crew was working on scheduled service). I was blown away by their genuine helpfullness and highly recommend them for your trailer purchase and service needs. Great service is such a rarity these days.

Just purchased a new "Grand Design Imagine XLS" from Camper World-Springfield, Missouri. We had…read morepreviously had awful experiences near home - (5 hours away) with bait and switch, hidden fees, and just plain dishonesty. We then found this Grand Design online and reached out to salesman, Austin who was patient and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - Once the deal was made, we drove the 5 hours and made contact with David who was extremely helpful and honest with questions about financing, - Austin was off work the day we arrived , so we met with Dale. He was awesome, helping us with with hooking up to our truck and other questions about camping and towing -then Nya showed us every feature about the camper - she was kind, patient and knowledgable. Once we made it into the business office to finalize the paperwork we worked with Darwin - who was also extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly not pushy at all. Overall our experience at Camper World was perfect! - would recommend to anyone looking for a Rv - especially if interested in Grand Design as they appear to have a large selection.

"We, as customers, out of towners, were referred to Thomas and sons by multiple stores including…read morecamping world down the street..." The Camping world that has no answers to any questions you ask or blow you off in a nice and short way. (Which it seems like their corporate culture, I can't help to think...) I have asked my husband to cancel the membership with Camping World. (The entire existence of Camping World is customer service, and they don't want to do their job. The entire Camping, RV industry is about customer service, but they don't want to do their job.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are New in Town. (We all know how that is, don't we? Most of us have been " new" to some town, somewhere... Yes the games being played towards the "outsiders"...) We went in twice, bought stuff because we didn't want to bother them for free with our questions when they were not busy at all when they had no one in there. And even that, they still discriminated us with (a mid-aged guy and the young choppy girl with a pair of glasses, both are short below 5'5") They blew us off because they thought we were there for free stuff with discriminating remarks " I can't order anything gor you for free, I gotta make $"... ( Um, why did they think we were there? Oh, trying to give them $$$!) The young woman with glasses, acting with the guy throwing remarks in between "look at the craps made in China", loudly shouting to make sure we heard her, the rest of the world heard her. What's wrong with what she said? nothing EXCEPT: she purposely did it for political purpose, to discriminate and shame me, the customer who happened to be a Chinese-American, 100% Chinese by looks and gene. Now you know why she said what she said? (For the readers: No I don't believe in racism because racism is not a word but a political banner. Prejudice is an individual problem, not a generalization issue. Use my case here as an example: The individual was just an uneducated, small minded, 3rd class, small town individual. If I were a snow-white, she'd find some else disrespectful to say... My point here is: they need to know that no customers are stupid or should any customers take their low class bs disrespectful games.) We, as customers, out of towners, were referred to Thomas and sons by multiple stores including camping world down the street. My Caucasian-American husband is 55, I am 42, do we look we are stupid? The lesson they are learning is: 1. I will not be giving any business to them. I currently need services, and I have found plenty of other places to go. 2. Before I had a chance to give them some businesse$ (which exactly why we went back there for), their small minded mentality which led them to play small minded games, already bankrupt them. Big cities have big city problems, small towns have small town problems. When a small town wakes up and cry about " how your local economy is not doing well." The very first thing for you to do is not jealously blaming everyone else who are doing better than you but taking a very clear look in the mirror.
