I am submitting a formal complaint regarding an absolutely unacceptable experience I had at your restaurant on May 25 at approximately 6:50 a.m. I came to this location only because it was convenient at the time, despite having had poor experiences with the service there in the past. What occurred during this visit confirmed exactly why I typically avoid this restaurant. While placing my breakfast order in the drive-thru, the employee taking my order informed me that I should not order two hash browns because the Hotcakes Breakfast already comes with one. I politely explained that one hash brown was for me and the other was for my daughter. There was complete silence. I then asked, "Did you get that?" Instead of receiving a professional response, another employee abruptly came on the speaker and said, "Pull around, she got that." The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic customer service skills. The situation became even worse when I arrived at the payment window. The employee working the window, a woman with long auburn hair who refused to provide her name when asked, took my payment and then walked away from the payment window to the pickup window without saying a single word to me. She did not tell me to pull forward. She did not acknowledge me. She simply disappeared, leaving me sitting at the payment window for approximately two minutes wondering if anyone was coming back. Eventually, I drove forward to the pickup window myself. I calmly stated that someone should have informed me to move up to the next window instead of leaving me sitting there with no communication whatsoever. Her response was shocking. She immediately slammed the window shut in my face and, before doing so, clearly stated, "Holy shit." Let me be very clear: no customer should ever be subjected to that type of treatment. Being ignored, spoken to rudely, left waiting without explanation, having a window shut in your face, and then being cursed at by an employee is completely unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the management and culture of this location. I am genuinely concerned about what type of supervision is taking place if employees feel comfortable behaving this way toward customers. This was not a minor misunderstanding or a simple customer service mistake. This was repeated unprofessional conduct by multiple employees during a single interaction. I fully intend to file a complaint with McDonald's Corporate regarding this incident and will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I expect this matter to be investigated, including identifying the employee working the drive-thru and pickup windows at approximately 6:50 a.m. on May 25. Customers deserve to be treated with professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy. Nothing about this experience met those standards. I look forward to receiving a response regarding what corrective action will be taken. read more

I am a senior citizen and I go through the drive-through for senior coffee and my husband is cannot come with me in the car in the morning because he's over 73 and he has a heart disease and all of a sudden they told me that my husband has to be in the car with me in order for me to give me two senior decaf coffee very disappointed. I have used Door Dash twice in the past month for this location. My two orders with $7 tip, delivery fee and up charges on items cost over $40 each. Both times my orders were missing a sandwich item, straws, and dipping sauces. So each time I have to drive to McDonalds and I am out the $7 delivery fee and all the up charges since Door Dash will not re-deliver. I do not get refunded all the extra charges. The items would have totaled $30 if I drove there in the first place. You need to check the accuracy of your orders. I get to the drive up, ask for my missing item and the person at the window hands me the order from two cars behind. Again, incorrect order. Your staff needs to pay attention. It cost me a lot of money and wasted time. None of this is Door Dash's fault. read more

This place is so unreliable in the drive thru. I get all the way home and the sandwich was wrong. I even check the bag and the label on the wrapper said the right order but still wrong inside. I guess I have to sit in my car now and unwrap everything and let it get cold to be sure it's right. I think I am finally done with this place. No more business from me! Oh man...what a bad experience today. I usually only post Yelp reviews for good dining experiences, but this McDonald's deserves it. This picture I attached says it all. Absolute burnt garbage. When I brought it in for a refund, I was met by 2 indifferent managers who were not trained well enough to just give me a refund and let me go on my way. One of the managers gave me a refund that was not the right amount, then the other manager said he was too busy to deal with correcting it. I called the phone number for the owners, but was connected with a district manager, who eventually reviewed the picture of the food and the incorrect refund receipt, then apologized for the absolutely terrible food I received from the drive through, then apologized for the actions of the managers. If this location can serve food does not live up to minimum standards and does not have respectful managers who review orders and make things right when there are issues, I can only imagine the shortcuts they take with the cleanliness of their employees and the areas where the food is prepared and processed. I will gladly drive a few extra miles to go to another McDonalds instead of the one on Route 34 in Aberdeen. The ownership of this location should do a better job making sure their staff don't conduct themselves in a manner that hurts the brand. read more

Ordered the Buttermilk Chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders were cold and stale and tasted like they were just sitting there for hours. There was nothing "crispy" about them either. Just greasy breading and dry chicken. Also fried were soggy and the container was half filled. Talk about skimping on portions. All in all just a GROSS meal. This morning I went to the drivethru. I went to McDonalds because I was hoping to get a quick breakfast. All I wanted to order was an egg white sandwich and coffee. I TOOK 20 MINUTES JUST TO GET A SIMPLE ORDER!!!! i waited at the ordering stating about 15 minutes and was the only car there. Of course, after being there so long, the lines were all full. When the lady finally came on the speaker, she skipped me and decided to answer the other lane. There was a car in front of me who was getting 4 coffees and instead of telling the driver to pull to the side, they made everyone on the line wait for about 10 minutes. The lines were so long! I was driving by heading to the shore so we decided to take a quick stop for parfaits. We went around to the drive window and there was a very long line. Several cars in front of us, we decided to wait. As we pulled up to the intercom we gave our order and drove to the next window. The first window took the lady a few second to open so we could pay. We pull up to the next window and receive our order. They were very friendly. As we pull to the far back of the parking lot to eat our parfaits in peace and privacy we see several stray cats. While we were eating our parfaits happily and watching the kittens my friend gags out the window and screams HAIR! She starts shaking and getting very nervous that there was a hair in her parfait, it was a long thick black hair which could not be unseen by the human eye. It was right in the center of her parfait. She continues to yell and cry and so on, I just continued enjoy my milkshake treat. So finally tells me to walk in and get her a new one I feel terrible about this. I ran all the way from the back of the parking lot to the door it was a tiring run. I accidentally walked into the back door which leads to the kitchen I didn't notice at the time because we were facing the back side of the building which I thought was the side. I walk into the kitchen confused and took me a few steps to turn around then I noticed everyone staring. I ran out of there very embarrassed. Finally I make it to the McDonald's cashier where i had to wait for a few minutes on line all while holding this disgusting parfait which was half eaten out of with a long think black dirty hair in the center of the cup. I say "hi....there is a hair is this......" She says " OH MY! " and whispers to her staff member very loudly "there is a hair in this" I then pointed inside of the parfait cup for her staff member to see. They said "I will get you a new one" They took the parfait with the dirty hair in it and gave me a new fresh parfait. They were very friendly and didn't even want to see the recipe. I put my hood on and sunglasses back on and I ran back to the car hoping nobody saw me. This is our experience here with the very friendly staff. read more

My hubby and I go, well not anymore, through the drive thru and there was a green jeep in front of me cause he cut me off.. so anyway he had gotten our order and we got his order that's number 1... number 2 I order a DIET SODA...
