P2 - Eggplant And Mozzarella
Hector S.

Panini Bistro is a decent spot for a sandwich but the bar is high with the saturated market for sandwiches in the area. Their fries are delicious but the prosciutto they used in the chicken, mozzarella, and prosciutto sandwich was almost not edible. The sandwich itself minus the prosciutto was delicious. I'll have to try more sandwiches from this place to see if other sandwiches are better.

Can't understand the many one and two star reviews because Panini Bistro has been consistently good since I began going to the Spotswood location a few years ago. I now go to the Matawan location because it's closer to home. I've tried a few of the paninis and liked them all but my go to is the P23, steak, goat cheese, arugula, and caramelized onions. Always good. Always filling. If you want one of those ridiculously overstuffed sandwiches don't come here. If you want a sandwich where all the ingredients are balanced perfectly and complement each other then come here and be satisfied. Place is clean and staff is always professional and courteous.

Stopped by on our way home, and glad we did. I had their classic pastrami on rye (P28) which was really delicious as well as we opted in for some Cajun fries which were crispy and well seasoned, definitely enough for two of us Service was great, friendly. On this sunny summer Saturday, we decided to dine outside and enjoyed the outdoor music. Stop by and give this place a try. I will definitely be back to try out more of their menu. Just an FYI , They do charge a credit card processing fee. (3.75%) @noodlesoupr Follow me on Yelp Facebook instagram and YouTube, as I travel the world in search of that perfect bowl of noodle soup.

I was going to my friends & he bought me a sandwich & asked for me to pick up food here. Free food is always good & I was very impressed with this place. The restaurant was very clean & the staff was really friendly. I had a vegetable panini and it was fantastic! My friend got a soppressa & prusciutto panini. Of course he's eating dead pig and risking a heart attack but I appreciate the selection. They also used aluminum & paper 2go containers instead of plastic which I also appreciate. If you're in the area & looking for a bite to eat, check them out.

Iceberg or end cuts of Romain? Not mixed greens or arugla.

Ordered a goat cheese salad based on reviews. On yelp the salad comes with arugula on their site it comes with mixed greens. My salad --- full of iceberg. Disappointed.

Decided to give this place a try for lunch. I'm so glad we did! I had a delicious Turkey, Brie panini (P7). The Brie and Alice of apple make this sandwich! The bread was fresh and crispy. It was a substantial sandwich-I was going to take half home but it was just too good! We also got the Cajun fries which were a bit too salty for me but they were excellent. Fresh and crispy. Hubs loved the fries. We will definitely be back! Prices are reasonable.

P29- Pastrami Cuban

Not only did the food sound delicious on the menu but it also looked delicious and tasted amazing! We got the mango habanero wings which were spicy but flavorful and the sweet potato and Cajun fries which were both very good, and the Cajun fries had a nice kick! The pastrami Cuban was filled and excellent and the prosciutto chicken panini was also a winner. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even made it work to get a Nutella croissant for dessert which was also very good! Definitely can't want to return!!

The sandwich I ordered was inedible. Chicken was tough, and the balsamic glaze was too sweet.

They have a legendary deli counter loaded with subs, wraps, cheeses, soups, sauces, and their famous fresh-baked bread. The butcher counter is top-notch -- and you've got to try the chicken cutlets, they're some of the best around. Their fresh mozzarella is made daily, and the baked goods (bread, pastries, cookies) are always fresh and impossible to resist. They even have a well-stocked pantry section with all the Italian essentials -- from jars of their own house-made sauce to Antonio's pasta and more. You can even grab Nasto's ice cream for dessert! One of my favorite things about DeMARCO'S is their family dinners, which feed 4-6 people and make weeknights so much easier. I tried the Sunday Sauce Family Dinner and it absolutely did not disappoint -- hearty, homemade, and full of that comforting Italian flavor. And if you're hosting a gathering or event, their catering menu is enormous -- seriously one of the biggest and most impressive I've ever seen. Whatever you need, they've got it covered. DeMARCO'S is one of those places that feels like home -- friendly service, fresh ingredients, and food made with care. From the culinary minds behind Heirloom Kitchen, Lita, and Judy & Harry's, this unassuming spot offers a highbrow take on sandwich classics like the Tuna Melt, Meatball Parm, and Italian Beef. In addition to their standard menu, Abramzon and David regularly feature rotating specials and pop-ups from notable chefs. This review is about one of those. After an hour-long wait, I finally got my hands on Nini Nguyen's chicken bánh mì. With bread flown in from New Orleans' famed Dong Phuong bakery--crackly on the outside, pillowy on the inside--plus lemongrass-marinated chicken, crisp pickled veggies, mayo, and a hit of sambal, one bite instantly transported me back to my twenty-something expat days in Hanoi. Yes, it was $18, but for a sandwich that evoked that kind of nostalgia and flavor, it was worth every penny. To wash it down, I grabbed a glass of their iced Banana Bread Chai. If banana bread were a drink, this would be it; comforting, spiced, and borderline addictive. At $6 a glass, falling for their coffee program could become a dangerously delicious habit. Sure, this isn't your everyday lunch spot, but it's good to know that when the craving hits, I can swing by, splurge a little, and let my taste buds take a little vacation.

Today we got take out and I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch. If the Cubano was a 4, this was a 2. It should have been called Chicken Salad Bacon Ranch. Chicken was not cubed, it was shredded. Bacon was in bits instead of slices. Way too much sauce between the ranch and the Chipotle marinade. Chicken didn't seem seasoned. With that being said. I would probably go back because they have other interesting menu items plus it's 5 minutes from my house
