Worst drive thru ever! This is second time I've sat in one of the two drive thru lanes that feeds to one lane to pick up and told by cashier "I'll be with you in one moment" as new cars pull up and not only fill up lane next to me but are served and gone before the cashier taking order in my lane even comes to take my order. Really poorly executed multi-lane service. Not to mention good is always cold there - I continue to stop because it's on the way home, and always think it will be quick - which it is if you pick the right lane on a given day because you get to cut in line since the other lane isn't taking orders correctly- but never know which lane is the manic lane that day! read more

I am old enough to remember when you went to McDonalds and the casher took your order, completed your order and sent you on your way with hot food. That was fast food. I am tired of receiving cold food at this location. On my last trip a cashier introduced me to the order kiosk. I am computer literate but felt like I was being tested for a job. The kiosk is not user friendly and I can only imagine how many germs are on the screen. After using the kiosk my order was delivered to my table. I did not have to wait long for my food to be delivered. However, once again it was cold. I can put up with waiting to order my food, and waiting for my order to be completed. After enduring the waiting, can I please have hot food delivered to me or is that too high an expectation from McDonalds? read more

I love this restaurant. The staff are always nice and the food is great. I know this restaurant has gotten a lot of hate ,but they have been serving us for over 60 years. You would have to really work hard to be this BAD! Almost 15 minutes to get 2 happy meals and a couple of burgers. Drink dispenser was broken so they hand poured the wrong drinks from liter bottles. Food was even worse not to mention cold. The only reason we went was for the kids play area, big mistake. Nasty sticky tables and chairs and the kids gym is just filthy. Beyond comprehension BAD! This afternoon (27 Aug 2016, 12.48pm), I stopped at this location for lunch (bacon, egg and cheese biscuit meal). No greeting whatsoever, even after I said "hello" to the man and woman working behind the counter... Just blank looks, and "what do you want". Upon ordering, I was told that this McD's does not offer hash browns with b'fast meals after b'fast. When I asked why, because McD's advertises and offers B'Fast all the time. the snippy counter woman told me cause "this location" chooses not to, and all McD's are different. How does one even respond to THAT!!! I then asked if fries could be substituted, and to please upsize my tea to a large. The bill came to a whopping $7.28! When I order this EXACT meal with a large tea and hash browns at the Mars Hill Rd location, total cost is $5.38. The staff could not explain why the cost was so much higher and just continued to give a TON of attitude. Finally I just walked out and went to the Mars Hill location...a WORLD of difference... I got the meal from a smiling employee who told me to have a "blessed day". I will NEVER EVER RETURN to The Cobb Pkwy store!!! They really need new management and staff. If I were the manager, the two employees who helped me would have been summarily fired on the spot!!!! Wonder if McD's corporate management knows about this store or reads Yelp??? Hummmm I would give zero stars if possible, and agree with the other reviewer about increasing pay to these rude people to $15/hr, who don't have a CLUE about the products they are selling and / customer service. I usually try not to go to this location. The employees are rude and the prices are higher. Today I was in a hurry and went inside for a to-go lunch, I got out to my car and found the order had been shorted so I went back inside and told the young lady at the counter. She very rudely told me my order was complete and that I was just trying to get a free burger from them. Trust me, I do not need a free burger that bad. They take FOR EVER!!!!!!! all I ordered was 2 salads! To top it off, I still had a wait of 7-8 minutes for crispy chicken. I wasn't informed of this till after they charged my card... and then.... they told me that they were out of the dressing. .. soooo... This McDonald is the grossest MD I've ever been to. I took my children inside to eat and it smelled like mildews dish rags. The play-place was incredibly filthy. I took a baby wipe and wipes down a part of the playground and it was black!!! The worst part is that the playground is not more than 2 years old. They just remodeled this location. They clearly are not cleaning the playground at all. I'll never ever go back there. It's a cesspool of germs. read more

Just went through the Drive Thru for 3 burgers and wanted ice cream but was told they don't have any deserts and that there waiting for there truck to come in. Well they messed up one burger because I got two plain, so I drive back to let them know about the burger and go inside for it. As my burger is being made I see a lady just dozing off like some bean head on here phone. As cars are going by at the drive thru a Uber eats comes and I watched her use the perfectly fine Ice cream machine and bring it out. Seriously. The worst McDonalds. Ordered 2 double quarter pounders plain. Get home take a bite and they're raw. My husband goes back to get more and the remakes aren't plain. This is without doubt the worst MacDonalds I have ever been to. Waited for 20 minutes and no food. They give me a service order to put on my table. After 20 minutes they still had not delivered it. Went to the counter to check on my order. Found 6 employees standing around with no customers. I politely ask if my food was about ready. They said they had forgot my order. They started to prepare my order for my wife, my 2 grandsons and myself. I never ask for any freebies and they said they couldn't give me anything extra for my inconvenience. I assume they had already messed up several times that day already and had already had to give away to much free items to disgruntled customers. Took my order back to the table and had to return to the counter again. They had left some items off of my order even after looking at my receipt. When you have 6 employees just standing around talking about their personal life and not serving their customers this business has has a problem. Can't imagine how they are still in business. Worst service at any fast food place ever! Half the menu is not available and then they shut every light off in the parking lot and building while we're still waiting for our food to be handed to us. This McDonalds has a dishonest manager. When you order a Meal today using the meal number they upgrade it without asking. I ordered a #4 breakfast meal (bacon, egg, biscuit) with a coke. it should have cost $4.99 + tax. The bill came to $5.91. This happened to me once before here. I wish there was an option to give this restaurant less than 1 star. Each and every time we come here (literally only for the convenience) multiple items are left out of the order, the staff is extremely unpleasant, and the food we do receive, if any, is awful. On the rare chance that we feel the need to call and inform them of their errors, they act as if WE have done something wrong. We will not be returning to this McDonalds ever. They suck. read more
