Drive thru is ABYSMAL! Food is never prepared properly - falls apart in your hands and is always spilled in the bag - and it's cold most of the time. Recently visited this location during dinner rush and the whole experience was a nightmare. Firstly i could barely hear the drive through worker. An from the sound of it she couldnt hear me either. I ordered a 20 peice nugget and 2 cheese burgers and a large fry. Well i get home and find out they didnt give me my burgers or any of the sauces I asked for my nuggets. Zero stars! Very bad and rude experience. Ordered the meal and barely sat down to eat with my wife when a worker told us that they were closing. This was on a rainy Saturday evening at 10pm! We told the worker that they should have told us that they were closing when we ordered and we would have gone to Taco Bell. Too bad, they said that "it was for our safety". We have never been thrown out of a restaurant and experienced such rudeness in our 64 years of life! On top of all that, the order was wrong. We asked for a refund and they refused. I would give this location no stars if I could. The owner is rude and should not own a business. We received a complimentary card because our food at a different location was missing and the quarter pounder was undercooked last week. I filled out feedback online and got a response from a wonderful lady who represents other locations. We received the replacement food card in the mail and my husband tried using it at the Adrian location on US223 not knowing it had to be used at certain locations. They gave him a hard time because they didn't recognize the name on the card. It had one crossed out for a free value meal to two. Which was done so by the lady who sent us the card. They thought the replacement food card was forged, which I understand but instead of investigating the name on the card and checking to see if it was legit the owner gave my husband a hard time. They made sure the burger was well done and yelled it out. My husband ended up paying for the meal instead of using the replacement food card. He then started to eat the food and the burger was well done but tasted like a rubber tire. I called and spoke to the owner and he remembered the situation but was rude. Did nothing to make the situation right. A backhanded apology. He should not run a McDonald's. I made sure to report the lack of service to Corporate. Customer Service is huge especially when my husband frequents McDonald's but it won't be at that location. On a high note the lady who sent us the replacement food card originally is sending a replacement card for the one the Adrian location ruined by scratching out what she had written. So there are some locations who will have our business but definitely not the US223 location! read more
