Coleslaw was the bomb. The burgers were way too salty. I do appreciate seasoned ground beef when I have a burgers, but it just got saltier and saltier as I ate it. I've always liked Tip Too. It's not the biggest diner but the food and atmosphere is nice. If you're in Adrian I'd recommend stopping in.

Awesome greasy spoon vibe without the grease. Daily specials including meatloaf better than my mom's (Sorry mom). Best open face hot roast beef dinner I've had in ages. Don't expect anything fancy other than homestyle comfort food. If breakfast is your thing expect to wait at the door on weekends. This restaurant is not large. Service is friendly and fast. Very small place. Had to wait about 30 minutes to get seated and not being a regular or local had us not being taken care of like surrounding tables with regulars. Food was sub-par and service was okay but inattentive. Was hoping for better. MOTTO: GOOD FOOD, GOOD FRIENDS, GOOD TIMES. A great example of a small town diner. Everyone knows each other, waitresses banter with the "regulars," lots of laughter. The menu was limited on my visit due to COVID-19 I suppose (see photos) but still covered the breakfast and lunch (no dinner) basics. The food was good if not spectacular. Website says they are open until 2pm....I get there at quarter to 2 and they say they are closed, chairs are up on the tables even tho there are people still seated. They tell me it's posted right on the front door that it closes at quarter till--which is absurd. And they were rude about it. AND they do not take debit or credit cards. Let's cut to the chase: if you're a big fan of old-school diner breakfasts like I am, the first thing you do when you get to a new town is find "the place." I drove by Tip Top yesterday and saw that they had a sign saying they'd been voted "Best Breakfast." The old-school appearance of the place suggested that was plausible. After a quick look at Yelp and a confirmation from a local, my breakfast plans for today were set. It is everything the 4 and 5 star reviews say. The corned beef has was excellent and done crispy as I requested. I always try the hash at diners, and Tip Top's was up in the top group I've had. The hash browns are also excellent. My over easy eggs were just right as well. The coffee was refilled without asking, just the way it should be. And as others have noted, the service was friendly and the staff really seems to enjoy working there. So if you're in or near Adrian and want the real "greasy spoon" breakfast experience, head here. What a great breakfast place! There's parking available on the side of the building. It's cash or check only, so make sure you bring one of those two options! Service was amazing, extremely friendly and attentive staff. There was a steady stream of folks coming in for food but it wasn't overwhelming and we did not have to wait to sit down. They had booths, tables, and a breakfast bar area available to sit at. Food-wise, we had breakfast but they also have non-breakfast food. The prices were great for the amount of food you got. The time between ordering food and eating was very quick. The food was what you would expect from a diner: nothing crazy or too new - just a well cooked, hot, classic breakfast. :) This place is definitely worth a stop if you're in town. read more

I am definitely a fan of this small town diner! This diner provides an extremely friendly and clean environment to sit down, wake up and have a great breakfast in! Whether you go alone or with your family the owner and staff always make you feel like a regular. The quick and courteous service, cheap prices and fresh coffee that this diner provides means I wouldn't go anywhere else, to have breakfast or lunch (although I am partial to the breakfast).
