So just know that both the grocery and body portions of the store are also small. The location is right off the street but looks a bit like a house. There is a clear sign designed with trees and hearts but keep an eye out. Parking is a gravel lot in the back. The grocery section has a bank of bins, freezer section, tea and coffee, and two rows of jars/cans/boxes. The body side has all kinds of supliments, shower products, and oils. I like that you can cut bar of soap from a much larger hunk. They sell Burt's Bees here. The staff is always helpful and nice. I dont remember the prices being too expensive. It smells like patchouli inside. I remember there being a studio behind the store for yoga and tai chi classes but you'll have to check that out yourself. There is a restaurant that is loosely connected next door on the same vein.

I was greeted right away by the friendly barista (bartender?), and when I mentioned it was my first time, she immediately launched into sharing the vision behind Kava Culture. The menu features plant-based, health-conscious, alcohol-free drinks, teas, and coffees. She patiently explained the health benefits of each tea option, which I really appreciated. The first "bula" is on the house--a ceremonial tea drink served in a coconut bowl. It was surprisingly creamy with a little tingly after-effect that warmed my tongue. The barista even took the tea shot with me after a shared toast to good health and a cheerful "Bula!" Such a thoughtful way to welcome guests and make the experience feel personal. I ordered the cold brew coffee with added kava, which is said to help stabilize blood sugar and reduce stomach upset. All the creamer options are plant-based, so I went with macadamia nut milk, sweetened with a bit of maple syrup. The coffee itself was delicious--smooth, rich, and refreshing. But then came the sticker shock: my 16oz coffee rang up to $12 before tip. That's more than I've ever paid for a coffee in my life--and I've had some pretty epic brews in Vienna, Florence, Budapest, San Francisco, and NYC. Despite the price, I'd definitely come back--if only to introduce my family and friends to the vibe and kava drinks. My family has raved about the fries and burgers though. The service is average. The servers have always been kind, but not always super attentive. The brewery is family friendly and very clean.
