I give Aeonian three stars, because it's average in the experiences I've had. My husband would give it 4-5 stars, so we have had different experiences despite dining together. I do not drink beer, but he does. My first experience at Aeonian was being told they don't have ice and that my water would be lukewarm tap water. That did not go over well. Since that visit, they do have ice which is awesome. On two of my visits, I have ordered different salads. The salads themselves are huge, but the protein on top was not. On my latest visit, I ordered the chicken tenders on top of my salad. It came out with literally what I would say is a single chicken tender. It was honestly ridiculous for a $5 up charge. My family has raved about the fries and burgers though. The service is average. The servers have always been kind, but not always super attentive. The brewery is family friendly and very clean. All of that to say, try it for yourself. We clearly have differing opinions in our house and you may find you enjoy it. read more

Came here w my husband, walked in on a Friday evening around 5pm and place was PACKED but we were able to find a table immediately. Waiters were very attentive. We ordered fried pickles and I ordered a cocktail (I'm not a beer drinker) and everything was delicious. I got the winter mule which is a moscow mule with cranberry and then a crimson sage martini. Husband ordered the Rhythm in Red beer and he said it was perfect. We will definitely be back. You almost forget you're in little ol Alliance while in here. read more

The brewery was confusing to find the entrance. When we found the entrance I stepped into a huge puddle of water bc of the slope of the parking lot. Had SOAKed socks and shoes. Ordered wings since it was wing night - they were cold and didn't seem done., I passed on these.. Service was poor - had to ask for a food menu, often had empty drinks, didn't care we didn't eat our food. Had to flag them down for any service.. mind you I only had 2 beers but both I had to make a strong effort to get the bartender's attention!. They had 3-4 bartenders and was not busy. They choose not to hustle. They just talked to each other - never checking in on us. Felt odd to have to call for their attention especially since it was not busy! Beer was okay. The food is very good as is the beer, but it's not very cozy. It's cold and the chairs are uncomfortable and it's loud - you can hear everybody around you. That being said I'll most likely be back for their beer. It's great for a large group. I wish them well as it appears that someone invested heavily and Alliance needs a place like this. read more

Chicken tenders : not very good- did not taste freshly made as the menu states. Sauces were disappointing, as was the scrungy dirty mayo bottle Fish dinner was mushy & overcooked. Tiny portion of so- so slaw. Both dinners had SUPER salty string fries, half of which were also undercooked. Service was meh. She stood 8 feet away chatting with coworkers after dropping our food & didn't check back on us for another 5 minutes. It was seriously odd. We still tipped 20%, but that's my minimum. The fire was nice, and the music was good The beer was really good- although or server "isn't a beer drinker " Why would a brewery employ someone that doesn't like beer? Just terrible. They were having a 50th anniversary party downstairs, but you would think more than a dozen employees could handle both up and downstairs. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes while countless employees filled flights and pints to take to the party. The girl who was in charge of the bar never once acknowledged us. 3 Mount Union kids waited the same time to cash out. Another group of 3 sat with empty glasses and finally gave up. A waiter came up from the party, walked straight up to a guy who just walked in and got him a beer, samples, and stood and chatted with him. Watched a girl go clear a table, returned to the bar, then stood there and cleaned glasses. We finally just grabbed a new girl and insisted she help us. Another couple walked in and were ignored for about the same time. We finally grabbed the guy waiter and told him to go serve them. Kicker was, they were sitting right in front of an order entry station where at least 3 different girls completely ignored them. If we hadn't driven so far to sample their beers, we surely would have left. Absolutely inexcusable. read more

I was happy to see Aeonian open in our neighborhood, especially given that it's within walking distance from my house. It's not perfect, but it's nice upscale venue for the area. The pros, aesthetically it's very pleasing & they have many craft beers brewed on site, provided that's your thing. Staff were very polite & friendly too. Also, what we had for lunch tasted good, & was a good value for the price we paid. I would however like to see some healthier side options, something not deep fried would be cool. The local townies might scoff at a $14.00 dollar burger, but the vast majority of them don't have an eye for the nicer things in life either. The cons, I'm not a beer or wine guy for the most part. I just don't like bitter drinks, & they don't offer anything in terms of alcoholic beverages that could even be remotely considered sweet - all bitter/hops. Beyond that, I would also describe whoever runs their social media as bitter as well. When they first opened I asked very politely if they ever planned to pick up liquor, cocktails, or hard cider. In response, I got a very condensing, rude, & bro-y response. I was really surprised by how nice the staff were in person as a result. The deserts are also overpriced, moreover, they charge almost $10.00 bucks for a very small piece of cake. As for COVID, I don't think they really care. The head bartender walked right up to our table with a chin diaper. Additionally, our waitress had her nose hanging out, but at least she was trying. I didn't see any sanitizer out anywhere. To their credit, they did have dividers up at the bar. I wouldn't be surprised if they ditch their COVID precautions on 6/1 when they are allowed to do so here in Ohio. read more

My third time at the brewery and I had yet a great experience. We tried some of the pumpkin/Fall beers and loved every one of them! Staff was extremely nice and laid back. We got all appetizers and everything was great! I highly recommend the Pickle Flatbread *chefs kiss*. Also, the Pumpkin Reeper beer was excellent that I made sure to buy cans to go! Very nice atmosphere, food was good and so was the service. They still have some work to get to 5 stars. We got one meal the a month later another then our waitress sat the we were still missing 2 other orders and went back and got the other 2. Didn't really get to eat together. They only had can sodas and no teas or fountain drinks. We had the boys and wasn't there to drink, but to eat and enjoy the setting. read more

We've been coming here at least once every couple months since it opened. The menu selection isn't huge but there is something for everyone. Salads and wraps are good, but I've also had the veggie burger and it was bland. The reason I don't go often is the atmosphere is not very inviting, especially sitting at the vast U-shape bar, you are just watching the bartenders walk around each other. It can get confusing when the servers are rotating to your table. The covered patio is nice, but the view is only of the parking lot. It is one of the better restaurants, and the only brewery (that I'm aware of), in Alliance. read more

My go to is Stark Contrast. If you enjoy Guinness you'll like this brewery's original brew. They have delicious seasonal choices as well. The burgers are great but the fish is my absolute favorite-great with fries or onion rings. You'll enjoy the casual atmosphere and the service. read more

I will start off by saying the food was excellent. It definitely tasted like it was made in house and came out quickly. However, I will not be coming back because of the lack of service. As a fellow bartender I was floored by the behavior of the bartender. She was bothered by the fact we came in and looked annoyed to have to serve us. She made a snippy comment about the alcohol they have when I asked if they had something specific. The table next to us also noticed how rude she was because they also made comments. I also watched her take drink orders and walk to the bar and eat her food (without washing her hands) before she decided to make the drinks. The person that recommended us to go there also had a bad experience with the same exact bartender. With that being said, I think your brewery has a lot of potential but bad customer service will get you nowhere. read more

Beers and food were awesome, however the service left a lot to be desired. My husband and myself went on busy Friday night for dinner service. We ordered two meals that took an absurdly long time to come out from the kitchen, but they came out 5-10 apart from each other and I never did get my beer. There were several things that they just didn't have on the menu and this is not the first time that this has happened. A lot of the time the staff was just standing at the bar talking amongst themselves. Will most likely not be back. read more

Tried to give this new brewery another chance to see if they've improved--was third time there in past several months. Unfortunately, still struggling. The beer is "meh" and the best of the bunch seems to be the Hazy IPA, others leave a bad aftertaste. Did not try the Gose. The food and service were lacking. Ordered "Chips & Salsa" expecting some nachos, and got doughy soft pita chips and pico de gallo. I guess expecting a place with a name like Aeonian to serve pita with something like tzatziki would be asking too much. The fries were cold and flimsy and the presentation unappealing. The waitress seemed uninterested, and I keep wondering why they don't leave the plastic utensil packages and the condiments on the tables--it would add some ambiance to this place that seems cold and rather boring. Hope it can make some improvements, or the old mill will return to a former shell. read more

The service was disgusting. Me & my brother went yesterday for the first time. We were excited. The server offered us sample to taste before we can decide what beers we want. It was charged $2.5 each sampler. This is first ridiculous experience charging for sampler ( without pre-information) . The burger and fries were disgusting. Fries were soggy like dipped into water. Went last Saturday for late lunch. Had a really nice stout. Aeonian burger was delicious. I hope they add a Lager or Pilsner beer to their list. Something that doesn't have a citrus note or flavor. A nice German style lagers are always nice. read more
