The accompanying salt-rubbed baked potato was excellent as well. The restaurant offered two dessert choices: a flight of cheese cake samples or a chocolate cake. We chose the chocolate cake and received a mammoth slab of cake covered in white icing. It was good but nothing exceptional. I wish there had been at least one additional dessert choice to choose from. Service for the rest of our meal was fine. Our drinks ran dry but were eventually refilled. The kitchen did a good job serving our meals at just the right time. The restaurant is attractively decorated inside, but it can't hide its heritage as a prefab metal building. The fish and chips are excellent as is the reuben. Bangers and Mash, Shepherds Pie, Gaelic Chicken, Scotch Eggs...everything you'd expect in an Irish restaurant and it all tastes good. A lot of people like coming here for brunch which has a different menu. I think on Monday's they have all you can eat crab legs for $50 per person...you order a cluster one at a time, not a buffet. They frequently have bikes nights and you'll see a ton of bikes during Angier Bike Fest. They charge a 3% service charge on the bill...not sure what that is for...
