The food and service at this location are always top notch. Whether it's for dine in or take out we have never been disappointed!

I've been to this store many times in the past and never had a problem. However last night I went I was the only one in the store half the stay was in the back. The manager was no where to be found and when he did come up to the front he smelled like weed. I ordered 3 sandwiches 1 cold and 2 hot. The kid at the register didn't know how to work it. It took 3 of them to figure out how to use a gift card and a credit card in the same transaction. After watching 8-10 customers come in and get there subs and leave as well as a few door dash orders. I stood up and asked if they forgot about me. I was told that the hot subs take longer. Mind you I've already been sitting there for 20-25 minutes! I waited another 10-15 minutes and then asked to see the manager. Who immediately had an attitude and was acting very disrespectful !! I explained what was happening and he said the same thing about hot subs. I explained I've already been sitting there for over 30 minutes and watched at least 15-20 customers come in and leave. He didn't admit that they dropped the ball or try and make up for it in anyway shape or form!! Just more attitude!!! He went in the back to make the sandwiches. After another 10 minutes I finally asked for a refund. The manager "Joe" who refused to tell me his last name. Threw the subs in the bag and said here you go. I told him I don't even want them anymore I want a refund. AGAIN WITH MORE ATTITUDE!!!!!! He told me NO and here's my subs just take them and go home. I again explained I want my money back! He then threw the bag up against the wall behind him almost hitting another coworker. Then gave me a receipt. When I asked what was this with even more attitude!!!!! Said because I paid with a card. It had to go back on the card. (Mind you I used a gift card and a credit card). Then told me to go home. I told him that I would be contacting his higher ups he said what the F ever !! Also the store was dirty with trash on the floor and they were play so loud crappy music!! I WILl NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE !!! I better never see "Joe" in public again!!! read more

This visit consisted of an excessive about of flies in the sandwich prep area, and loud music. To make the visit a lil more unpleasant was a cleaner that came in slamming his tools and ladders like he didn't give one $hit in this world about customers. Place was a mess, food on all the tables and even some of the chairs, no napkins or straws out for us, and trash all over the counter by the soda machine and all over the floor. And just to top it off, both trash cans were full so you couldn't throw anything away. We were the only customers in there when we walked in, so it wasn't like they were too busy. I currently have communication with the franchise owners contact about a situation that occurred in September 2024. If this had been my store and several of my employees, about 3 people would be out of a job. Totally disrespectful to me and my wife. On a positive note, the ham and cheese wrap was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient. No worries there. This is the third time I've been to this location and the fly infestation has progressively grown each time. I typically give stores the benefit of the doubt but 3 strikes is enough. Not to mention the dead roaches lining the edge of the dining room, and the disgusting rear of the building that is exposed to the public. The tile floor looked very unkept as well. This store seems to be in a great location and has all the potential in the world to be a profitable area but it REALLY needs some TLC. At this point, it seems like straight neglect. read more

When an owner is too cheap to pay at least one responsible adult to manage their staff of children you get what you should expect from this Jersey Mike's location. My first trip to this place, I stood around waiting for a few minutes before I saw a soul... I heard a lot of laughter and horsing around in the back but, nobody up front. My second time in, the kids were all cutting up, joking around and seemingly doing nothing except one who was sweeping the dining area. As I was waiting I noticed in the Deli Case a Nasty hunk of some kind of Meat Product thrown in the corner getting very old looking and appeared to be possibly chewed on. No doubt it landed there during some kind of food fight horseplay... Gross!!! Steer CLEAR of this location. read more

Fast service, excellent sandwich. Tried the Chicken Philly today. Hot, delicious and the rosemary bread was flavorful. Located next to my office, so will try a different each day and earn rewards points, as well. Floors and tables a bit worn, but over all appears clean. read more

I grew up eating Jersey Mike's in New Jersey, so it's always great to be able to have something that reminds me of home. I just visited last week and have come to the conclusion this location it a tad slow at lunch. The girl who was in charge of cutting the bread and putting the meat on was a bit "meh" she cut the bread terribly uneven and didn't care how the meat was put on the sandwich. The girl who did the toppings was a bit slow, normally the guy who was putting the sub in the bag is a lot better and quicker. read more

This was my first time at a Jersey Mike's and I will never go back. I got a philly cheese steak with bacon. The bacon was left off (which happens) and the cheese was not melted. Maybe that's how they do Philly cheese steaks?! However, I am used to having the cheese melted on the steak. It was so gross. I just feel like a philly cheese steak is hard to mess up. The guy that was working the register was extremely friendly, but the guy that took are order and the girl that was putting the topping on were not pleasant at all! I will not be revisiting Jersey Mike's! It's just sad because I have heard great things! read more

We have been to Jersey Mikes in Fuquay - Varina many times. The food and the waitstaff are always excellent, but the overall condition of the restaurant is pretty disgusting. The tile floors look like the tile had been removed leaving the old glue showing and filthy concrete floor. It especially looks gross around the baseboards. At today's visit we saw what appeared to be a large bug laying on its back in the dining room. Looks like the place hasn't been painted for quite sometime. Looks like nobody cares. read more

Best sub place in Fuquay, hands down. More pricey than other subs, but waaaay better quality. I dropped in for a regular #9 Club Supreme and a large drink and was not disappointed. There was a bit of a wait (5 to 10 minutes) due to the early dinner rush pick-ups, since it was after 5pm. My sub was large -- I ate half and it was pretty filling. The roast beef, turkey, and bacon were all super fresh. I didn't see any mustards when I was having my sammie built -- would have been nice to have. For my drink, I tried the Stubborn Cream Soda. It was super fresh, but a bit too sweet for my liking. Wish they had stevia based sodas or sugar-free seltzers (without cancer-causing aspartame) or sparkling waters as drink options. I'm a fan of the fresh deli meats (they slice fresh meat for each sandwich) at Jersey Mike's. I know Subway is probably (or can be) healthier, but I hate watching them peel my meat from a stack that has been sitting there for who knows how long. Speaking of healthy though, there are plenty of good options at JM. You can even get your sub in a tub (sans bread). I'm not sure how this is different than a salad, but either way, it saves some carbs. This location has always been clean when I've been there. The staff are generally friendly, even though most are young kids (okay now I'm aging myself). Sometimes they're a little slow and that would be my only complaint. Just picked up a couple hot custom subs. Each order was perfect and delicious. I picked up the subs and brought them home. Being hot, I figured the bread would be chewy and soggy. Nope nope nope. The bread was fresh and flavorful, there was just the right amount of ingredients so nothing was soggy. All the items were fresh and delicious. While I was waiting for my order to finish I saw the employees actively changing gloves between touching different stations, working on a huge call in order, and deftly dealt with 2 rude customers back to back. Both the young lady and the guy out front were overly kind and graceful even though both customers were rude for rude sake and there was nothing the employees could have done differently (ice machine was down). The man working the grill had my order up quickly and was very attentive to getting me on my way while being safe and kind. 10/10 employees here every time I come through. read more

Came here with my husband to grab a bite (we are gluten free and we can't eat anywhere without it being contaminated and possibly making us very sick-so we look forward to these times since Jersey mikes usually has good practices for those with allergies and for that I am grateful) however, we arrived as one of the employees was finishing up slicing a meat for a customers sandwich and he literally threw this huge chunk of meat into the refrigerated case that holds all the cheeses and meats, like it was a football, it immediately turned me off. As I peered into the glass casing I took notice of the extremely unkempt and DIRTY fridge area where all these foods were kept and actually walked out. I was horrified that ANYONE would eat here. PLEASE CLEAN UP. It's gross and I can't imagine anyone who really pays attention wanting to still pay to eat off of what looks like the ground of a back alley. So disgusting. read more

Came here on a Saturday because I was nearby, instead of my regular JM. The guy that took my order was super, duper nice. He made friendly conversation and gave me a genuine smile. He also wiped down the machine before making my veggie sub, which sometimes I have to request. I was rang out quickly and took a seat to chow. I moved here from NY after 32 years so a $17 sub better be damn well worth it. This would be worth it if the adolescent staff would pay enough attention to you to get your order right. They got damn near everything wrong on 2-1/2 subs that had all but 2 ingredients the same. You could really do away with having 5+ kids running this store and actually hire someone who knows what they're doing. Do not recommend and will not be returning. read more

Just got 2 subs and I can't belive it. I ordered a roast beef and swiss, the one making the sandwich uesd the butt end of the roast beef that was hard and full of fat. then the swiss was just as bad , it was the very end of the block. For the price you charge i think you could do better then that. If I wanted leftovers I would eat at a soup kitchen. Don't see me comming back any time soon. What a waste of $16.00 read more

I only give this place four stars instead of five because of price. It is about 14 bux for a 12 inch sub. Other than that this sub shop is as good as it gets. It is superb when it comes to the taste of their subs. I always get a turkey with mayo, salt, pepper, oil, and banana peppers. I love this place!!! This is my go to sub place. You walk in the door and everyone is all smiles ready to get your order. As I was ordering everyone was quick to make sure it was running smoothly and quickly. This had to be the worst sandwich I have ever had from JM. The bread was stale and the meat had no flavor. There were a couple of hairs in it and realized this when I got back to my office.The guy at the register was in such a hurry to check me out I could not even finish telling them what I wanted on it.
