I've been here a few times now and can review it fairly. Every time I've come here, the drive thru line has been outrageous, prompting me to go inside for service. Every time....from order placed to food received....20 or so minutes! For a simple order of a burger and fries to take 20 minutes at a fast food joint? Unacceptable. Also, the coke freestyle machine is ALWAYS out of everything and god forbid you ask an employee behind the counter for a drink of choice...nothing but eye rolls and attitudes. Stop here after I got off work (11:45pm, bad decision) was in the drive thru seeming like forever! This got to be the slowest place I've ever been to!! Got homeless people begging for change. Can anyone tell me how to reach a district manager or owner of this McDonald's. Today I was in the drive thru and was told "all systems were down" and I wasn't going to be waited on. The 4 cars ahead of me a ll were waited on but I'm told I'm not going to be. I went inside and encountered a manager who said her name is Bonnie. She also said "the systems are down" I'm not getting waited on. While I'm inside people are eating, leaving with food, etc. yet they can't manage to wait on me. A 24-hour McDonald's located in close proximity to EAV. You'd think it'd be an oasis for those of us who fall victim to the heavy handed bartenders at Mary's. But you'd be wrong. Instead, the drive through line wraps around the building at 3AM, admittedly slightly in part to the drivers who may pass out on their steering wheels while they wait (no joke), but moreso because of the absolute ineptitude of the staff here. Then, when you finally reach the intercom, your dreams of hot and salty fries or a burger are crushed: breakfast only. BREAKFAST, people. What you need at 11am on a Sunday (note, past when it's actually served), not at 3am when your clothes reek of smoke and your ears are ringing from a concert or crazy karaoke. Sorry. Lame. read more

The answer is simple: $1 for a large diet coke with light ice, served relatively promptly through a massive drive thru, making it so I never have to leave my car. The workers here are rude. They are talking about customers after they leave in front of the other customers. The lines are ridiculous and there's only one register open. There's several employees here standing around with nothing to do. There is a dining room attendant but the dining room is filthy. Very disorganized. It's not clear who's in charge. Employees are rude to each other in front of the customers ,arguing about the orders. The only thing good about this location is the renovations. It is a new model store. I'm sure that's why the health score is a 98. This was probably done right after they reopen from the renovations. I'm sure if the health inspector came through today it would not be the same score. The late night staff is VERY rude and very lazy. Don't give them the wrong order with the wrong amount and then try to correct it and then pay with a credit cards. Supposedly their "machines do not credit back your money". When I tried to reason with the young lady at the first window, she caught a very bad attitude with me, made NO eye contact, and also made NO effort in resolving the situation. The manager said that "it was human error". Last time I checked, having a bad attitude is a choice, NOT a "human error". read more

I rarely do McDs anymore, but wanted a coffee and a bite and thought, "why not." Now I remember why I don't. They were super busy, but it's Sat morning, it's East Atlanta and it's busy everywhere, so that did not bother me. What did bother me was how super unorganized the crew seemed in the automated space behind the counter. The prep of the food hardly takes any thought, yet it still demanded twice the time and half the courtesy to get it. By the time I got to the counter, and the cashier was as nice as a a terrified doe could be. Waiting wasted the small window of time I had, so all I had time for, and really wanted was a coffee with cream and sugar. What I saw next made me cringe. The cashier got a cup, got a bag of sugar and poured it directly into the cup, no measurement mind you. She then poured powered Creamer, that was previously poured in a McDs cup, into the coffee. Let me just say here, there are few beverage pleasures I have left, coffee with half/half is one of them. When I asked for it H/H the manager explained that they no longer have it. They have light Creamer and it's powdered. The cashier and manager were nice enough to ask if I still wanted it. I took it because neither, technically, did anything wrong. That little cost cutting switch was a corporate decision. So, I'm giving the location 3 stars because I think the crew does the best they can given the mass of people who were there and the environment in which they work. If I actually bought the food, I'm sure I would have been satisfied with it, as much as I could have been satisfied with the taste of a flavored, salty, fatty, textured eatible item. And although I did accept the coffee, it never passed my lips. I gave it to someone whose blood sugar level could tolerate the blow, and eventually went somewhere else. read more

It's a McDonalds, and this location isn't the best or the worst. The staff isn't as friendly as they could be and sometimes have attitudes, but for the "most" part get the job done. The service is pretty quick and the drive thru as well, but there's sometimes items missing from your order or the food isn't as fresh as desired. However, if you ask they'll usually replace it or grant special requests after a bit of prodding. The food is pretty standard but it's good! Overall, this location could be better but it's ok if your in the area and need a quick bite to eat! Tip- Download the McDonald's App; pretty good deals and treats! read more

I don't know why I came back. The food is bad, even for a McDonald's. I have tried the online ordering 5 times over the last year. They brought the food out once. The drive-thru staff on weekday mornings has really gone downhill in the last several months. I've been working in this part of town since 1990 (yes 28 years!), so I've seen this restaurant's ups and downs. For a while there (like late 2017/ early 2018) they had a pretty good thing going. Drive-thru was reasonably fast, cashier was friendly, etc. Now, it's a disaster. You can tell just by how long the line is in the drive-thru. Sometimes it's so bad that it wraps around itself and no one can move! McDonalds gridlock! This morning, I ordered a "Big Breakfast" (without hotcakes) and the order-taker insisted that the Big Breakfast MUST include hotcakes. I was like, "No, you have another item on your menu called "big breakfast without hotcakes", but she would hear none of it. And then 23 minutes later, I got my food. Ugh. read more

This could possibly be the worst McDonald's in Atlanta, GA. I attend this location because it is walking distance from where I teach. The machines are NEVER working, items on the menu are always "gone", and the service is absolutely heinous. The drive thru is a waste of time because every single time I get to the window to pay I have to reorder or "fix" the order that is about to be made incorrectly because of incompetence. This location REALLY needs managerial help. Low, even by McDonald's standards. Unless you like Barq's root beer, nothing for you to drink in either of the Coke freestyle machines. Wait ten minutes (and ask multiple times) for your drink to get filled from the people behind the counter. Oh, and no straws available, so hopefully you are okay with drinking from the cup. Burger buns were so over-cooked that they were actually crunchy. All while the managers had their team meeting on the floor the entire time I was there ...
