My mom and I rolled up craving comfort in the form of their always-delicious Hawaiian Fish Sandwich Deluxe, and Amy's vibrant energy and radiant spirit instantly lifted our moods. She greeted us like we were old friends--her positivity was exactly the sunshine we needed to turn our day around. After ordering a King Hawaiian Fish Sandwich, he was told to wait as they just dropped the fish. Well, we know this is not a restaurant in which fresh seafood is cooked - there's no reason for a 20-minute wait for a single fish sandwich. Upon finally receiving his sandwich - it was stone cold! Went here one Saturday afternoon as I was craving curly fries. I haven't been to an Arby's in over 10 years but I couldn't get curly fries off the brain. I pulled in and went to the drive thru and ordered a chicken sandwich and of course, curly fries. The woman that greeted my was SUPER nice and I was pleasantly surprised....until.... I get to the window and the super nice woman says, "we're out of curly fries." My jaw dropped and she sensed my sadness. I told her that's why I was there. She offered me crinkle fries and gave them to me free for the mess, which is why they get 3 stars. I wish I got her name because she was awesome. As disappointed as I was, she had great customer service. I ate a few fries and had a few bites of the sandwich. Both were "meh." It lost its luster for me and it wasn't enjoyable. Arby's Howell Mill is my neighborhood Arby's. The service at this location is excellent. The staff is usually friendly and orders are processed quickly, mainly because this location rarely gets busy. If I order to-go, I'm in and out of the store or drive-thru in less than 4-5 minutes tops. Yes, I've rung that bell at the doorway to let the staff know I appreciate their service (haha). I've always been a fan of the chain's classic Roast Beef Sandwich. Those thin slices of beef are usually flavorful and tender and the sesame seed bun is soft. The sandwiches are a small and manageable size and I can usually gobble one down in about 8 bites. I have to add the sweet-and-tangy Arby's Sauce and "Horsey" sauce to make the sandwich complete. Arby's Sauce is basically BBQ sauce and the Horsey sauce is a much milder and creamier/processed version of horseradish sauce. The Arby's Sauce also works great as a dipping sauce for the restaurant's popular curly fries. They offer regular fries too, which I tried once. I don't see why anyone would order those boring fries over the default curlies. This location turned me on to the Market Fresh deli-style sandwiches. My favorite is the Roast Turkey Ranch and Bacon. Each Market Fresh sandwich is made to order. You get to see the employees slice the roast turkey and add each ingredient one-by-one. In this case, bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce, a slice of cheddar cheese, and peppercorn ranch dressing. The sandwiches are actually quite big and rather filling. They're more expensive than Arby's other sandwiches, but you're getting a better quality sandwich. read more

Our food was barely okay in taste and quality, but we were missing part of our order- our small fries and marinara sauce ( they gave us something called BroncoBerry Sauce??) And they didn't include the honey mustard we requested, just a ton of ketchup and horsey sauce (not requested). The sauces were important obviously we're not dipping mozzarella sticks into BroncoBerry Sauce. My Roast Turkey and swiss is not at all as expected... It looks like they rang up a bacon sandwich instead. :( I wish whoever is working would actually pay attention to what they're doing instead of just rushing to pull people forward off the drive-thru sensor (we and everyone who came through with us were asked to pull forward and/or park). Love Arby's. Love their Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich with extra Arby's sauce! This location is opened pretty late and I found that convenient because it was 11pm and I was starving. Although late the service was good. The cashiers were friendly and quick to get our food to us. Also our fries were fresh, which surprised me because it was so late at night. This isn't my neighborhood Arby's and it seems like I only come here by accident. Usually on my way to Walmart as I generally avoid Howell Mill Road as much as possible because of the traffic. It doesn't help that whenever "I'm Thinkin' Arby's" it's during the afternoon rush hour and I need to turn left out of their parking lot (as you can probably imagine that's pretty much impossible). I was in a hurry for lunch today, and Arby's was in my path. I had not been to the venue in a long time, so I thought I would give it a try. I was very disappointed in my food. I ordered the beef and cheddar combo. The sandwich used to be more amply filled and was very tasty. This one was small and not too warm. The bun was chewy and had no flavor. The roast beef was bland. I did not finish the sandwich. It was not bad enough to send back, nor good enough to continue eating. The curly fries are still good and the so was the ice tea. The service was prompt and courteous. Any time I have an issue here they are quick to correct it and the customer service is excellent. It was my first time coming to this location tonight, but it was as great as any Arby's locations I've been to. Plus is I can see their interior was remodeled unlike the interior decor of some other locations that are a bit more "classic" I've tried numerous sandwiches and am still not bored.
