This McDonalds should be dropped off the earth, starting with management. You would think that there would be some improvements considering all the bad reviews. Companies should read their reviews (if they really cared)! I ordered through Door Dash. They didn't even try to get anything completed. Half of the order was missing, plus dessert (absent). Had to go out to buy food because of this. This store is a waste of time. Big Macs were disgusting, hard, cold fries. I was trying to eat my food (before it got colder) as I drove to Taco Bell to get the kids some food. I offered the kids the food I ordered for my husband and myself, they took one look at the dead and buried fries and the soon to be deceased burgers, and declared: Ewwwwwwww. I stopped here to get breakfast to go last Saturday morning. The drive thru was out the parking lot so I decided to go in and order. They had one cashier for the busy breakfast rush. They had tons or people working but were so slow. Because they were so slow it gave me the chance to look around the dining room. OMG it was so dirty. Tables were not clean and sticky. Like most people I enjoy the occasional McDonalds fries and burgers, but the service at this location is sooo slow. The last two times I went through their drive through it took more than 30 minutes. However, if you try to order a McGangBang at 12:40am on a Monday night - this causes the night manager to appear - in an irritated state - and respond "we dont do that here". This place sucks. Honestly. It's terrible. If you rolled everything that could go wrong with a McDonalds meal into one fat joint, it would be the most unsatisfactory high you've ever felt. I barely write Yelp reviews. But this was necessary. Especially for someone like me who is in the bar/restaurant industry. :) I get off from work, at a bar in EAV, and am starving. Yes, it's 4AM. I go to CookOut first and they wouldn't help me/ answer the drive-thru, even though all the lights were on and their were still employees in the building. Anyway, so MCDONALDS, was my second choice. Can't go wrong there, right? They're open 24 HOURS, RIGHT?! No. I go to the window and the "Manager" says they are not taking orders...I pull off to Krystal's (THANK YOU, KRYSTALS!!!) Shortly, I call Mcdonalds to ask to speak with the manager and ask why they were not taking orders. He says they closed for 15 minutes to get ready for early morning shift? Not in those words but I could understand what he meant....ok...why couldn't you tell me that in the drive-thru??? But even more importantly, why don't you get the night shift to do all the prep work for morning shift before the night employees get off? Very unprofessional and rude at the window. This is why minimum wage isn't starting $13/ hour. Sorry not sorry. Your store is sorry if anything. Never going back. And your ice coffees suck. read more

it's unfortunate for me, that I'm having to give this locating atleast a 1 star. thats a lot higher than I wanted to give. before I started highshool in '99.. my *dream was to work at mcdonalds bc I loved the food so much. why, I don't know. I got the job, I worked at the mcdonalds on hwy 78 going toward stone mountain... this is the summer before freshman year for me.. I was brought up to give excellent customer service. I walk into this mcdonalds, there is no welcoming vibe. no welcoming "hi! welcome to mcdonalds! :] " the only acknowledgement that I get is "next, what do you want?" is it like this at every mcdonalds? - this is the closest mcdonalds to my house and frankly, I've had the same "welcoming" experience each time I've visited this mcdonalds, whether walk-in or drive-thru. is this just mcdonalds' in atlanta or outside of atlanta the "welcoming" experience gets more "welcoming"? I'm sorry but, I don't feel so welcome, I feel more like, let me get you what you want then, get out of my line kinda way.. no matter what the job is, take pride in doing it, and make a customer feel welcome... this is not how I feel here ever. and mcdonalds employees want a huge pay raise, and are going on strike...? please?! greet me with a smile and then talk about a pay raise. and no dollar raise at that... yeah....so this one. what shall i say about this location. should i mention that at some times the cars literally wrap around the building, trapping all the cars on the moreland side in. i was so psyched to get me some fruit and nut oatmeal from here this morning. when i finally got my order, the container was filled to the rim with freaking water. are you kidding me!!! instant oatmeal is so freaking easy to make, how could you mess it up. really! so i asked for one with less water and they told me to park in the designated spots for waiting customers. i did so, and after 5 minutes of waiting i walked my pretty little self inside to get my oatmeal. it then took me another 7 minutes to back out of that designated spot b/c, as mentioned b/f, the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. 8 minutes later at home i enjoyed my awesome $1.99 serving of fruit and nut mcdonald's instant oatmeal. it was actually almost as good as starbucks oatmeal. ahhhh...i love oatmeal Yum! no seriously...yummy :-) read more

We stopped here to get out son an happy meal and it was a nightmare. The drive thru line moved at a snails pace and we would have bailed if we weren't blocked in. Finally ordered our sons chicken nugget happy meal, paid, then was asked to pull up and wait. Wait we did, for 15 mins. Mind you 15 mins with an hungry 4 yr old is a long time. This McDonald's SUCKS! I got here at 5:30 AM hoping to beat the breakfast rush. It appeared I had no such luck; the line at the drive-thru was wrapped around the building. I decided to go inside since it was completely empty. Although the signs posted claim that the dining room opens at 5 AM the doors were locked. I called inside to find out why and was informed that "there are only 2 people working so the door is locked." 2 people working during the breakfast rush?! Ok. I pulled back around to the drive-thru line and was repeatedly told through the speaker to pull to the window. When I finally got to the second window (at 6 AM) I ordered and paid for 2 hash browns. 5 minutes later I had my slightly warm hash browns in hand. I thought this was a one time thing until I read previous reviews. This is my neighborhood McDonald's, so I've been here several times, and it's always more of the same. The system is always down during the late night/ early morning shift, although I suspect the employees just don't want to take orders during that time. Save yourself the trouble. Go 3 minutes around the corner to Chick-fil-A. They'll get you in and out and it'll be their pleasure! read more

After waiting for 15 minutes--which is a little less than typical drive time waits--I went inside to see what happened. This place has HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. It took me 10 min to place my order then it took another 14 min waiting on my order to be prepared. Once I received the order, the fries were ICE COLD. I then waited another 4 min for fresh fries only for the staff not to be able to locate the salt dispenser. So after spending 28 min inside the restaurant, i couldn't even leave the property because the drive thru line was so long it wrapped around the building thus blocking the exit. Let me just start by saying that aside from an occasional coffee, I had completely stopped eating McDonald's . I just feel that there are way too many options that are more satisfying. We ended up here because the place we preferred was blocked by traffic and too awkward to maneuver through traffic safely and we were running late for appointment. So how do both Coca Cola freestyle machines run out of soda? It had me thinking I needed to brush up on my computer skills. Turns out it was empty. There were very few workers and that contributed to the 20 min wait. I did notice several flies overseeing the work. However, they turned a blind eye and did nothing to speed up the process. We finally got our order and surprisingly it was almost right. I only ordered a cheeseburger with extra pickles but received a normal one. I didn't complain as we just needed to go. Needless to say I won't be back, not even for a coffee. If we continue to go spend our money they won't improve. Things won't change until they look out the window and see Cook Out's line getting longer and longer and theirs getting shorter and shorter. read more

Like everybody else who is flabbergasted by the request for people at McDonalds to increase a salary to something crazy I am too not in on this vote. I'll tell you why...The SERVICE is horrible. I came here after leaving another McDonald's because they were out of ice cream. Now it may sound pretty ridiculous that I drove to multiple around the area and got the same nonchalant bad service .This location I visited was just as worse as the others in the fact that they have some pretty rude people working there. I pulled up to the drive thru and waited and waited until I finally said "Hello" and got the "GO AHEAD WITH YOUR ORDER" response. Like at this point I was so pissed because this was the 3rd location I've visited that has this type of person at the drive thru taking orders. Ah I was in luck guess what the ice cream machine was working.. Oreo McFlurry please.. No total just pull around to the window. Girl opens the window no smile no hello no kiss my ass nothing. Says my total gives me my change and that's it. Frustrated already I pull up to the second window to get my tiny happy meal sized of a cup that was suppose to be a McFlurry? Mind you the cup wasn't even full if I could show you how half assed this was made.. I don't mind the long lines, it basically means the food will most likely be hot & fresh. I also don't mind the fact that somehow the ice cream machine is down every last day (means no one cleans it the day prior) really not a problem either. It's the fact that i have been shorted out of maybe $30 worth it of food just in the past month alone. This location is terrible. Both in physical location (ie. the hood) and customer service. I agree with everyone else that the service is unacceptably slow. Today I was in the Drive Thru waiting on 2 mcdoubles and coke, not complicated. It became clear to me that the person in front of me was waiting for the rest of his order (cooking more fries or something?) At every other location I've been to, the person waiting is directed to the designated drive thru parking spaces. While I waited 20 minutes, I notice the people BEHIND me getting their orders at the payment window! On top of that the wait was making late getting back to work on my lunch break. I got so aggravated that I went inside and wouldn't you know, my food had been sitting there getting cold. Not only that, but one employee tried to make it seem like I was in the wrong because I got out of line...What is the point of the designated parking spaces if you are too stupid to have people use them??
