i came here real quick for something to eat during my lunch break. ordered my food , went to pay.:. the lady takes my money walks away and passes it to someone else and doesn't say anything. Now the girl she passed my 20 dollar bill too is holding it up(clearly for no reason because if you knew what you were looking for you wouldn't need to hold it up twice) then a manger comes and asks me verbatim "you got any more money in there?" and points to my wallet..... excuse me ? do you not have markers ? do you know know how to tell a fake 20? then got an attitude with me because i wanted to know how a manager couldn't tell a real 20 from a fake one because it was old ? smh let's start requiring a little bit more credentials for management. read more

This McDonald's is excellent during the day. Consistently high quality and service. Overnight today, it was hell. The woman handing me my food could not have been more nasty, mean and terrible. I asked several times for no cheese and of coursE, I got cheese ( the receipt made it cleaae that I requested no cheese). The fries were salty enough that it appeared that they just poured salt without any measurement. No apology at all. Two days in a row go by this location to get breakfast on my way into work both days was a complete disaster, no interest is taken in that they are wasting customers time, letting us down and we leave disappointed and hungry. This location is in serious need of help Day one - Mc Donald's is Supposed to be opened at five thirty, after pulling on the door found it locked. The manager inside opened the door said "all of the employees are late so I can't open," Inquiring who to call "said there is no district mngr." the manager then locks the door and walks away Nice way to run a restaurant. Three other cars were waiting and left. Day two (in a row) - Apparently I like punishment because on my way into work stopped by again. Lights are on, doors open and ordered an Egg Mc Muffin to go "double toasted." While there tried to get info about management and informed "the manager" on duty what happened the day before he could have cared less. Once in the car was ready to eat. Tossing the bag to the side and unwrapping the sandwich noticed the color was off even in the dark. Turning on the overhead light to investigate further found the damn thing was burnt not toasted as requested pissed went back inside. I was offered my money back (Why Thank You) no offer to remake the sandwich and he walked away. Fuming left. You may have better odds at winning the lottery than getting service here. This McDonald's location is very clean and modern. The staff was friendly as well. Visited for a tasting of their new slushie line. The sweet peach slushie was the crowd favorite and my favorite as well. The food was fresh. The fries could have been hotter but overall great experience. Will visit again when I'm in the Buckhead area. read more

When I think of grabbing a quick breakfast on the way to work, McDonald's is always the first place that comes to mind. I know it's a terrible habit for my health, but at least it isn't a frequent one. Once every two weeks or so, I'll stop by the drive-thru of this McDonald's on the way to work when I have to work on a Saturday. Depending on my mood, I'll either get simply a Sausage Biscuit ($1!) or treat myself to a Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle value meal with a Hash Brown. At a whopping 560 calories, the Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddle isn't something I'll get often, but it's so yummy! Although I'm not a fan of pancakes, somehow the maple-flavored pancake "buns" won me over. I love the unique combination of the sweet and salty flavors, but with the Hash Brown (150 calories), the total calorie count is 710 - just for breakfast. O_o Boo... The drive-thru is fairly quick and the employees are generally friendly. Although I haven't dined in myself, I did recently go in to use the restroom before grabbing my breakfast to go. There are only two stalls in the restroom, and they were both kind of gross. They don't have toilet seat covers, either. Ick. Overall, this McDonald's gets 3.5 stars for their generally fast and friendly drive-thru service and consistent food items. However, they should really pay closer attention to maintaining the cleanliness of their restrooms. I was protesting this McDonald's because they never returned any of my phone calls to their posted customer service number. Today I broke down because I was craving a Big Mac and I didn't feel like driving to another location. I justified it to myself because I wanted to take a picture of the sign posted in the drive-thru with the number on it. Joke's on me because they took all of the signs down. Apparently they were sick of my daily messages and removing the signs was easier than calling me back. At least now they don't seem as ignorant because it's clear they don't care to hear from their customers. I remember partying out in Buckhead when it was the place to be for nightlife. Where was yelp back in 2002? My review is based on a a Friday night back in 2002. A buddy I were clubbing. It was time to go and he was hungry. We hit up McDonald's drive-thru. This is frickin' Buckhead, you would think this resturant would be slightly better than your average McD's. When I got to the drive-thru menu, it was generic looking. It was a white board (the type those little road side signs are made of) with black sticker type letters. I BS you not! We are cracking up at this point. My buddy already knew he wanted the Big Mac meal so the sign wasn't necessary. Here's the kicker, I can't make this up. My buddy ordered the Big Mac value meal and the McD's worker said, "we don't sell Big Macs." After a bunch of huh's and what's amongst my buddy and I we busted out laughing again. How and why in the world have I started finding myself at this McDonald's at least once a week? Well, first it was those stupid "$1 for any size drink" promotions. Then it's the fact that it's oh-so conveniently located on my right as I'm on my way to church each Sunday and generally in desperate need of caffeine when I'm trying to make the early service. Then I discovered that their ice cream is reduced fat and one regular size cone will only set you back $1 and 150 calories. I've never had a full meal here, just a drink or small snack, and I've also never been inside The drive-thru cashier might be slow as mollasses, but he always compliments me on my church clothes. Even better, the person in the food window never judges as she hands over my ice cream cone lunch. Plus, their health department score is posted in the drive thru window. Their 96 gives me just enough assurance that I'm not going to get salmonella and just enough of a dangerous edge knowing that I'm giving my immune and digestive systems a work out. Worst fast food experience in a long time. Takes entire 5 minutes to order as me and 2 other cars sat there at 9:45 pm on a Thursday. Just never said anything, then no apology. Pull up and another employee is outside standing at the window having a conversation with the girl who took my order. What can you say about Mc Donalds? What can you say about Mc Donalds? It's an American institution and the most successful resturant in history. You would have to be in a coma if you never heard of them. I am giving this place an A, not necessarily of the food quality but it's an American Icon which everyone loves. When you mention Mc Donald's you're sure to have volunteers who want to ride down to the place with you. What is there not to like about it. But I can say this - if not all but most Mc Donalds are clean. The dining rooms are usually in pretty top form in the cleanliness department. The kitchen usually is clean but I have seen a few whereby they weren't as clean. My personal favorites are the Quarter Pounder, the Steak and Bagel breakfast sandwich and the Filet O Fish. Of course the fries are the bang too! There's something about the food which brings you back. I actually enjoyed having a double Filet O Fish a few weeks back. What could it be, the tartar sauce, cheese, or the fish itself. Could it be the bun? I can't determine. But I thoroughly enjoyes the glutonous experience Plus, you can't beat the pricing! This McDonald's is two blocks from my home, but usually I go out of my way to the one on Cheshire Bridge. So today, I had a promo coupon for a buy-one-get-one quarter pounder figuring the visit would not be too bad. Nope - they do not honor other McDonald's coupons; which would have been okay if I hadn't had to wait several minutes until someone noticed me at the register as the manager seems to be too busy ogling some teen-aged boys. To be fair, this place was okay up to about a year ago and I stopped by fairly frequently. Maybe had 4 visits since then and each time had an employee issue. This is probably the slowest fast food locations I have ever been too. All I ordered was a medium fry and I waited in line forever!

McDonalds score is 99 which I thought was pretty good. Restaurant was clean. The food was hot and fresh. However, I did notice employees taking orders outside and returning NOT washing their hands. Also an employee had on ear buds and a man purse which I thought was unprofessional. The employee taking orders in the front counter was not wearing a belt and could see his underwear. Once I notified the manager on duty she addressed the issue and was very professional and Apologetic! Working in fast food you have to be very sanitized while handling people's food! read more

Oh my lord. So I got these coupons in the mail. Buy one filet-o-fish, get one for free!!! So by the time I got this coupon, I was already hard. I drive over to McDonalds and was like "can I get two filets of fish?" They rang me up on the register as if they didn't even know coupons existed in the world. So I pulled mine out, it gleamed in the light. I say "kind miss, I have a coupon for my order." And she was like "ok." FREE FILET OF FISH IT WAS SO EASY. I am not a person who frequents Mcdonalds, but most Mcdonalds have good apple pies. I was craving a sweet treat, so I dropped by this location and I ordered a hot apple pie. They told me that they were out of apple pies. They did not offer to make any, but I asked them if they were able to make pies since it was still early in the evening. They told me that it would be 12 minutes to make a pie. I did not mind waiting, so I waited. I sat outside for a while, and later I ended up going inside, and they told me that a minute and 1/2 remained. That was not the problem. My concern was when the crew member with the dirty fingernails who was handling the money at the drive through went to the back to get my pie with his filthy hands. He did not wash them nor did he put on gloves prior to going to get my pie. They (one of the crew members) even said that he was boxing pies. I told the manager about my concern that he was handling food without washing his hands / wearing gloves. The manager then told the crew member who was boxing the pies to wash his hands. He (guy boxing pies) then, After already handling the pies, washed his hands. I saw him do this. Then he went back to handling pies..with no gloves. What makes him so special that he can handle food with no gloves? The lady making burgers, etc. Had on gloves. Why did he not have on gloves while handling food / pies? At this point, I was scared to eat the pie and told the manager that I will pass..they can keep the pie, and I politely left the store. I also told her / the manager why I did not want the pie. A refund was not necessary. After all, It was only .89 cents. I did not want to get sick from someone mishandling my food and could not help but wonder what they do when customers were not looking...since I saw all of that... handing dirty money, dirty hands, handling food. What is worse is they seemed to think that was fine.. must be their normal way of running this business. I won't be back. read more

I'm not posting this based off of one visit. I live close by so I come here fairly often. I've never been to any fast food restaurant that has gotten my simple orders wrong as many times as this location. Multiple times in one visit on a couple of occasions. There has been a couple of times I have sat in the drive through for 5-10min before even hearing anyone come on. The management seems really nice but the employees look like they are pissed off the whole time and seem like they are barely listening to what you are saying. Which is probably why I have to plan an extra 10-15 minutes in there wait on them to fix my order that came out wrong. I promise you I am never one to write reviews or complain because this is McDonald's we are talking about. I just hate how atrociously inconvenient it is to have to drive 10 extra minutes to get some damn fries. Once again, the management is extremely kind and helpful every time I am in there but I seem to only get help from them. Never an employee. Hire some capable people. I wish I didn't even have to give it a star! This is like the 3rd or 4th time my experience in drive through was bad. I would assume that when they put the screens outside that it would help rectify mistakes on orders.. So wrong for thinking that this was true! How do you first order a double cheese burger add mayo, and still don't even get half of what normally comes on there with STILL NO MAYO?! (I am hungry right now so excuse my frustration! I have been very frustrated with this McDonald's lately. You know I don't expect much from my basic fast food restaurant, but I do expect to be able to get my hot fudge sundae as a little guilty pleasure. So, went there once... machine is "out of service". Fine, that's a bummer, but it happens. Next time, it's a week later and they must have it fixed by now. Nope, wrong again. Well damn, maybe it's just an old machine that's on the fritz a lot. Tried 2 more times... still out of service. At this point I'm thinking that either they suck at replacing equipment or the employees are just too lazy to run the machine. I went to McDonalds located at 2929 Peachtree Rd in Buckhead this morning and I ordered Egg white and Cheese delight substitute biscuit and no Canadian bacon. What I got was Cheese and bacon biscuit and a small drink. I paid almost $5.00. The receipt that was attached to the sandwich was McChicken Biscuit sub McGriddles. So I am so pissed I repeated myself twice to the cashier to make sure this does not happen again (yes it happens a lot) and I did not even get a receipt. This is ridiculous. This is one McDonalds I visit very frequently due to convenience and it is sub par every time I visit. Although the product is relatively consistently average, the staff is rude and watched them litter in their own parking lot. Today it took them 25 minutes to prepare chicken tenders and they weren't the least bit concerned with the wait. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you are starving or just crave some McDonalds. read more
