Two things can be true at the exact same time: 1) I can order an insane single order person as a reaction to the very stressful day I'm having and be met with ZERO judgement from the kind man at the drive through window who took my order with grace 2) I can wait for 20+ minutes baking alive in my car for maybe the slowest drive through order fulfillment of all time and get frustrated. When we got up to the window where we pay no one spoke to us at all they just took our money and didn't even ask if we wanted a receipt and then when we pulled up to the food counter, no one spoke to us there as well and just handed us our food. So I placed a online order for curbside. I put in that I was in spot 1 I waited for probably 15 minutes it says to pick up at store so I go into the drive through line. The lady with red hair was very nice and helped us the best she could, and said that it was up front for in store pick up. Well I go up front tell them what's going on and they said ok so I waited for probably another 30ish minutes we'll everyone else in the lobby got their food so I go back to the counter just to have them hand me the order that has been sitting on the counter for that entire time. Wow. One car in front of me and it took 20 mins to get a happy meal. The car in front was waiting 5 mins (while I was there) to get their order taken. I sat at the box for another 5 mins after I pulled up to have my order taken. Then, I had to repeat my order 4 times. My order was 1 kid's happy meal. That's it. Slow, recently remodeled looks really nice inside and out. My food took a long time on a Saturday afternoon at 2 PM. Ordering was a mess had to tell the pay station my order again then pay. Then the the pick up window my order again. Then I had to pull up to the pick up spot so cars behind me could get their food. It really a big order. This place has been slow for awhile. I would say this McDonald's is a McHit, but first you need to McListen. It says this McDonald's is on S. Trooper Road, but its not. It on Shannondell Blvd, possibly one of the worst intersections in the area. The problem is that there's a McDonald's, WaWa, Chicki n Pete's...all kinds of other great stuff, all in one crammed intersection. You better watch out! Accidents all the time. But the service at this Mickey D's is tops, when they get my order right. They other times, they've blown it as badly as giving me barbeque instead of sweet n sour to just forgetting to put fries in my bag! Seriously who forgets the fries? Perfect for when Shamrock Shakes are in season, or you just have a craving for a 50 piece chicken McNugget deal for $9.99 (not that I ever have - promise!) Like the other reviewer noted, my rating is also based on what you expect from a fast food place. Service is fairly quick, staff are mostly polite and prices are moderate (though for McD's - prices have gone up compared to other fast food places.) The only bummer about this place is that they close pretty early during the week, but are now open 24 hours on Friday/Saturday. Exciting! read more

Go to the Chick-Fil-A or the Wendy's across the street! I was treated horribly when I went. The then manager cussed me out for trying to pay (I was 12 at the time). I was paying with cash and I ordered at the Kiosk. After my order was placed it asked cash or card. I selected cash, and it told me to pay at the register. So, I go to pay, and I say excuse me, and then she starts blasting me off saying to pay at the kiosk. I try explaining to her I have cash. She did not want to listen to a word I said. My dad then came in and I explained to him how she was screaming and cussing me out when I was trying to pay. My dad then went and tried to speak to her, but she started cussing him out as well. My dad wasn't tolerating any of her rudeness. An employee came over and finally took out money. We decided to cancel the order after that because we were worried she would do something to our food. She cancels the order but she REFUSES to give us our money back. Please keep in mind we had a fairly large order ($45). We were asking the other employees to please give us our money back but they couldn't do anything since she was the manager. We then had to wait at least 10 minutes for another manger to come and give us our money back. She was screaming at me so much I ended up crying. We gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe she had a bad day, but lots of our friends and family told us that lots of the staff here have been extremely rude to them too. Horrible, horrible experience and haven't been there since. Go anywhere else or even go to the McDonalds in Perkiomen. read more
