My colleagues and I visited on an Monday night. I believe Matt/Mike? was our server. I think he was newer as the confidence never flowed even though he was very eager. It didn't help that several of the beer/ and non-alcohol options that were ordered at our table were out of stock. The philly cheesesteak, the burger, and my fries were all-ok. What makes this a 4 star review was the offering of the IPA by Evil Genius - Stacy's Mom Yeah, that's the name and she does have it goin' on!!! This refrain is perfectly suited for this IPA "Stacy's mom has got it goin' on She's all I want And I've waited for so long Stacy, can't you see? You're just not the beer for me I know it might be wrong but I'm in love with Stacy's mom" Stacy's Mom is one of Evil Genius' year-round flagship beers. It's an IPA with low bitterness and lots of hop flavor. Dry-hopped entirely with Citra. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. I had two that night. 3 stars for P.J and 5 stars for Stacy's Mom. read more

I met some friends here last night for half-price wings. While well, the wings are delicious, the service was less than stellar. In small wording on the wing promotion it states that it is only good on 10 wings. I went to order five and you would think the waitress would tell me but she said nothing. Five is actually more than the half price of 10. Also, my buddy ordered naked wings with the wing sauce on the side. The kitchen gave him the wrong wing sauce when we asked her to correct it. she ended up charging us for extra wing sauce. Well, it was only a dollar but still. I also felt like she was rushing us out of the restaurant. I love the wings but my experience in house at all of them has been negative. I visited this location for a team dinner. The place is located next to Target and has its own parking lot. The restaurant was packed for a Tuesday evening 6 PM. The staff attended us on time and food / drinks were served on time. We ordered Nachos, French fries, Pretzel bites, Egg rolls, everything tasted fantastic and good. Fish tacos were outstanding and probably the best. At last, we ordered a chicken cheese steak but was little dry. Other than that, everything was fantastic. PJs is one of those places that where middle aged dads and their kids come to watch college football and scope out young servers and getting wings with their 'signature sauce'. We visited Whelihan's yesterday in Osks. I was hesitant as I didn't feel well after our last visit. That time I had a salad so I decided not to get a salad. I ordered a Rubin. My husband ordered a soup ( which he said he couldn't eat as it was toooo salty. We also ordered wings as an appetizer but everything came out at the same time. Boneless wings seemed stale, hard. I no sooner finished my sandwich and ended up in the restroom. I was sick the entire day. It happened so quick it may have been food poisoning. We wont be going to Whelihans again. Came here for a team brunch with my kids volleyball squad and some parents. Place was nice and roomy. They had us in the back section. We had 2 large tables as it was about 20 of us. Service was amazing. Our servers were very attentive and sweet. Forgot their names tho. A lot going on. Food was mediocre. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap which lacked in flavor and in Buffalo sauce. I did however, really enjoy the onion rings in the side. De licious. I have to say. Some of the best onion rings I've had in awhile. Didn't take pics of everyone's food but there were no complaints. I understand times are tight for fast casual but this place is going downhill. Staff as always is great, food however is not up to par, and the menu has been scaled back. Ordered a cheeseburger well, came out crispy with a tomato slice that was so thin it turned into paste and wilted romaine lettuce pieces. Also, can't proove it but it seems like it was smaller that previous visits. Got rid of alot of tap beer including all of the good ones they used to offer. (April 2025) after an educational and fun day at Valley Forge National Park, my wife and I had dinner at this P. J. Whelihan's. She ordered the ancho steak street tacos ($14.49), which comes with 3. I ordered the P.J.'s burger ($13.99) and upgraded the side to sweet potato fries ($3.50). Overall, everything was good. Her complaint was her tacos didn't come with a side. My complaint was the onions on my burger were not caramelized, as stated on the menu. For dessert, our server (Juliann) recommended we get the Ghirardelli chocolate brownie ($8.49). Definitely a good choice for my wife and I both loved it because it was shareable. If we lived in this area, we would be regulars! read more

To their credit, the manager called me after my review to discuss the problems. I was very impressed that she cared enough to do so. She also offered us a $50 gift card to return, which was extremely generous. So while we were planning to go to another sports bar to watch the game the following week, we did go back to PJs. The restaurant did take care of us much better. Portions came out much bigger, so I've attached the photos. The problem is, this is only after they've been made aware to pay attention. They knew the manager told them to treat us very well. We were back there again for the Super Bowl, and the sharing baskets were again only half full. KeriAnn, if you want to do something, please be consistent, and make sure the kitchen is putting out fair portions to everyone at all times. We got a basket of pretzels with beer cheese, which had only 13 pieces in it. Is this normal, because that was not a full basket? I forgot to take a photo before eating as we were too wrapped up in the game. Great food, very delicious! I had a hamburger and it was just as I would have made it at home! 10 out of 10! Yum! And the service was top notch! Our server Morgan was on her game! A great change in experiences. As mentioned previously I let the GM know we would be back to see if there were any improvements. I haven't had a chance to post but I'm happy to say that Keriann the GM was true to her word. My wife and I and another couple stopped in on Saturday, January 18th in the late afternoon. Wow what a change. Our Server came to our booth quickly. She was very personable and attentive. Everything from the menu that we ordered was available and was very tasty. What are these guys known for, sports, wings, a fine craft or two, pretty descent burgers and the eye candy that is in here. Yes I said what i said. Your first order of business should be getting those Wings.**cough cough sweet chili , or their kickin Korean wings for the win cough cough** It's like a right of passage when visiting a P.J. Whelihan's location.   Now after you've had your wings, and your still licking your finger while coming out of that "caveman/woman mode", you should try their chili lime grilled shrimp tacos. Three nice sized tacos brought to you in their carrier, so they stay safe are just waiting for you. Nice sized shrimp grilled to ones satisfaction, not that crap you buy in the freezer section of the supermarket, actual quality. Chili honey marinated shrimp is all I'm saying. Another reason why P.J. is good is their nice sized bar with ample seating aligning the the area ,with plenty of TVs for your viewing pleasures. Good ample seating inside, clean with a great  wait staff . At least the day I went, my neck was going left and right which was a better view than the Flyers game that day. Of course I was enjoying a few libations at the bar and couldn't help but salivate over the fine craft selections these guys have. For the aficionado in you this is a great spot to grab a few pints of the good stuff mixed with an order of appetizers. Kind of away from everything, but it sure does attract a crowd . read more

P.J. Whelihan's is a sports bar. It is loud and hard. Need a drink, to watch 5 games at once and yell to your friends "how was your day?" This is the spot. The food is okay. We grabbed tots, burgers and she a salad. The tots were like they were in high school back in the 80s. My burger was rare and next to impossible to hold to eat. I managed. It was good not great. The waitress was very good. The person that brought out the food was frustrated but aren't we all at times. I didn't hate the visit. I didn't love the visit. Go for the sports and beer. read more

Burgers were fantastic. The waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The place had a unique vibe to it.

I am thinking PJ's has a huge consistency between locations problem. I eat at the Haddon Township NJ location often and we came to this location because we wanted to know what we were getting, we did not. Staff was attentive and there was very little wait for service or food. The issue was the food. Salad with avocado in the name did not have avocado, almost no chicken and very few strawberries. Chicken sandwich with bacon in the name did not have bacon and a very flat chicken breast portion. Burnt cheese burger that was not finished because of the char on it. A very small underwhelming smash burger to round out the experience. Also, about half as many fries in every order as we get at the Haddon Township location. The server did listen and brought out concerns to the manager's attention, but I really think they need to do a much better job with preventing mistakes and having all of their locations on the same page. Most of our group left still hungry. That is an issue when you are dropping $20-25 on a meal. read more

12/19/19 at around 5PM Quick happy hour snack before the Star Wars Sky Walker movie. The bar was hopping and busy and there were several bartenders on working to take care of the crowd. I tried the 4$ happy hour chicken nachos that were quite impressive for the price. They were served more in a. I'm an out-of-towner and came here on a local's recommendation. Definitely a winner. Laid back casual sports bar type. Came on a Sunday around 2pm and had a 10 min wait. We got chili, reuban sandwich, and a couple beers. All was good. The chili FULL of meat, which was nice but slightly greasy. The sandwich was also greasy (bread) and had a good amount of meat with it. The chips with the sandwich were good - not stale at all. Beers were good! Will happily return next time we're in town. RJ is the worst at PJ's in Oaks. Raw chicken and raw, ride and negligent customer service. I have never been so compelled to write a review. I'm traditionally it's a "not that bad" kind of person and to this date don't ever recall writing a negative review. In summary they served me raw chicken, raw! The couple next to us shared their visible concern of it being raw. My wife tried a second wing and immediately came to the same conclusion, not only raw, but spongy, not hot, and obviously undercooked. Recognizing the concern we send it back through the bartender, who were apologetic taking it back to the kitchen. After no less than 15 minutes we inquired, to have the manager RJ, abruptly deliver the recooked wings several minutes later, telling me that he checked and it was a blood vessel disregarding our concern, and disrespectfully destroying any opportunity to provide customer service. We never asked nor intended for any reductions, or anything for from the restaurant. Just cooked food and reasonable customer service. After experiencing RJ's leadership ignorance, and PJ's unsafe food practices, we will never be back. I now await potential illness! Eagerly, and angered, fueled with RJ's and PJs raw chicken and maybe the worst manager I've ever experienced. read more

First, I love PJ's. We go to the BlueBell one all the time. Always love it. At this one, even though the restaurant was almost empty, we were told of a 45 min wait due to the kitchen being backed up. We thought ok, we can wander a bit. Upon being called back, they sat us at a table right across from a cleaning station. There were other booths available but I was like "Ryan, don't sweat it." But can a restaurant not store its mop, cleaning supplies and baby high chairs behind a counter? Every person that passed us, and it was like EVERY PERSON trying to get to their table, had to edge by our table because there was like no space between us and the baby high chair holding the mop! Did you see my sandwich? It came burnt to a crisp! It tasted as bad as it looked. The tater tots were dripping in oil. See pic two. That is literally a layer of dark oil at the bottom. Took a few bites to see if the black char was maybe the sauce but, no, it was charred 10x over. Not good. Daughter's chicken wrap was just okay. She picked at it. My wife had a salad. That was okay. Brussel sprouts are always good and the Yuengling was cold. Server was nice but service in general was not very timely and the wait was funny. Server was very apologetic and for that, props to her. But, my second sandwich not come in time for me to enjoy. They made it right by taking it off the bill but I will be hard pressed to return unless near the Blue Bell place. So we ordered two cocktails while we were looking at the menus. She came back to drop off waters and to take our order, no cocktails. So some time passed, and I flagged down our waitress. She said there was a backup at the bar. Where I was sitting. I had a very good view of the bar and the waiter station at the bar. She was right, there was a backup. But I also observed people that came in, well after us, that would receive drinks immediately, including other tables around us. So the food came, still no cocktails. Just tap water! I will say, the food was excellent! But we really wanted drinks before our meal. The drinks finally came when we were almost done with our meals. They were running with two bartenders on a Friday night, no empty seats at the bar. The employees in the restaurant were not lacking at all.
