My Lyft driver recommended this place for me. I guess he only heard me saying " I'm hungry" & not " I'm hungry AND WANT A GOOD CHEESESTEAK"... I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it with chili and cheese fries 2/10. It was stuffed (pause) but that's about it. No taste, dry meat (pause). Chili cheese fries taste like water. Only ate like 5 of them. Nothing but a stomach ache in the morning. Lol. After asking my friend and family about his place... All I heard was " The milkshakes are delicious... The milkshakes......" Lol..Lol.. Never good to hear when you want to know about the food. Great staff tho. I hope y'all enjoy it. #TeamDiesel #TeamDiesel4Evaaaaa

Burgers were good and reasonably priced but would have been very thin without adding all the free toppings. Specify your toppings!! Or have a sad burger. The onion rings were pretty good especially with a side of the dipping sauce (extra charge?). But the 3 milkshakes were all crazy sweet, like could not drink more than a few sips and cost as much as the burgers. Takeout only. Parking isn't bad. Really friendly service & food made to order. Good for kids and those with a super sweet tooth.

Ordered vua GrubHub for pick up and was done on time. When I opened the box for the burger I was pretty disappointed with how it looked; it could've had a better presentation, the lettuce was one big ol' leaf slapped on top. Nevertheless, taste is more important to me. It wasn't bad but the burger was overcooked. The cheese fries was good; i like the seasonings they added. Just wished they added more cheese.

Need to grab something quick because I haven't eaten anything the whole day and it's 4:20pm already. Stop by this Nifty Fifty and try their Single Royal Cheeseburger that my husband got for me. The onion ring is crispy. It's not like those that only have a bunch of breading and their onion is tiny. Their patty also pretty good too. Slightly thin in my opinion but not bad. I would wanna try other burgers from them next time.

Pieces of bones in my Mushroom Swiss Cheesesteak

First time ordering from here, Oreo milkshake was amazing, it was perfect. HOWEVER, I got the mushroom Swiss cheesesteak and I ate half at work, I bit into something gritty, I just thought "oh could be a peppercorn", wrong! It was tiny bones! It was bearable eating half at work, but when I got home and ate the rest, the bone pieces that I bit into just got bigger! Like wtf?! Each bite I take there's another big piece of bone. Seriously?! Are you expecting me to enjoy a cheesesteak then potentially have more than one medium sized pieces of bone cutting my throat or my organs?? Idc if I'm just an online order, shit like this can get you sued, what if a child was fed this? Take your time in making sure you give quality food to everyone whether in person or online. I wanted to like this cheesesteak, but no. Even my childhood papi store makes the best cheesesteak a few blocks away.

Since they've allowed calling in orders ahead and more take out options, I've finally had the chance to try N50's. While there are plenty of other burger and cheesesteak places in the area, this place has a shiny exterior so you know it's new. I was recommended to try the milkshakes here, but my first time, I got a burger, spicy cheese fries and spicy nuggets. Paying and pick up was a little slow as there is only one person allowed in the store at once, but the order was done right as I got there and the food was still hot when I got to eat it. Solid burger, tasty french fries and the nuggets were real breast meat. Overall a tasty little late night meal, but the prices were a little too much for my liking, especially when the place across the street is more original and cheaper. N50's has the milkshakes though, with a huge variety so I will definitely be trying one of those at their new location in Port Richmond, but the food is just A-okay

Went for a quick drink at Nifty Fifty's before the Phillies game. The place had a pick up window. I waited in line and was dead set on a mint chocolate chip milkshake. I wasn't the biggest fan. The mint chocolate didn't have the chunks of chocolate chip I am use to. While waiting for my order, a person who came way after me got their food before me. I wearing my Phillies gear while this guy was wearing his Seattle gear. 2 double whammy Nifty in South Philly. Getting served before someone else when they had more items and serving a Seattle fan. Where is the South Philly spirit?

Delicious food and shake. This was the first time I ever had Nifty Fifty's and I have to say it's really good. I order the mushroom burger and peanut butter banana shake; my friend had the royal and we split an order of fries and onion rings. Everything was good, everything you would expect from a burger. Onion rings were huge and fries were also well seasoned. The shake was really good and thick; they didn't skim on the ice cream and you can taste the chunks of bananas. Price wise, it's not your McDonald burger price but it's also expected, so, no complaints. When I went the place only takes order through the windows but the experience was pleasant from ordering to picking up the food. HOWEVER, the down fall is the order fulfillment itself. I would HIGHLY recommend checking your order before leaving so save you from disappointment if anything was wrong. The burger I ordered was missing all of the toppings I asked for in the exception of the bacon and I was given, fried onions which I didn't ask for. This was a kitchen issue because the person that took the order, repeated the whole order and it was correct. I'm still giving this place 4 stars for now because taste and service wise it was really good. There's just a lack of quality control that I hope would improve as time progresses, since this location is fairly new.

Birthday cake is amazing but so is everything there

John's Roast Pork is legendary in Philly - it's been around for decades - 96 years to be exact! I'd been there once before many years ago (couldn't remember anything about it) and thought it was time for a revisit. I got the large Roast Pork sandwich - you can see from the attached picture the 'preferred toppings' (Dad's Way) are: Mustard Raw onions Hot seeded pepper American cheese I had only the Mild Provolone cheese on mine - no mustard, raw onions or seeded pepper. I would have had cooked (caramelized) onions - but they had only raw...and American cheese was not a choice for me (I was raised on it). The pork is supposed to be 'slow roasted (7 hours) pork shoulder (pork butt)' - and it may very well be, but it reminds me of the meat that's carved off the large vertical rotisseries for gyros. It doesn't look that appealing - it's like a large sub sandwich. The pork was soft, tender and seasoned well - the roll was very good - John's had been getting its bread from Carangi Bakery. However, the bakery closed due to a fire so I'm not sure where the bread is from, unless it reopened. I finally satisfied my curiosity about John's and went to see what the sandwich was like. While it probably ranks as one of the better 'pork/steak' sandwiches in Philly, I just couldn't get excited about it.
