I didn't go through the drive thru so I can't say anything about it's efficiency. I came here to kill some time before an event in the morning. There's two floors. Downstairs is just long tables with backless stools. Comfortable for a short stay but rough on the back if you stay too long. Upstairs is a larger space where some people use as a meeting place. I got the breakfast sandwich meal. It's the new hot honey sausage egg biscuit. It just a typical sausage egg biscuit with a bad of slightly sweet and spicy sauce. That said the sauce isn't bad. It gave the sandwich a small kick. The hash browns are still my favorite. It was hot and crispy, perfect for a chilly morning. They still have the worst tea I've ever had. In general, I love McDonald's. But not this one. I usually go to Willets Point in Whitestone, unless I'm nearby. This one is usually very busy during peak hours. Parking can be a problem. I visited this bi-level McDonald's off peak about 3pm today and ordered takeout. I don't know if anybody was on the 2nd floor but the 1st floor was empty. I was content at the beginning, but this excursion started to spiral downwards quickly. The cashier said we get a free sandwich if we fill out a survey using the receipt. When asked, she confirmed that we could get the free sandwich today. As instructed on the receipt, we scanned the QR code and filled out a relatively lengthy survey. I gave the cashier and this eatery a good review. I got a "validation code" indicating the survey went through. The cashier showed the manager and came back to say I can't use the QR code. The cashier then proceeded to fill out the survey herself while we waited. Ok, whatever. She then says we can get a free sandwich with another purchase. "With another purchase"? That's not what she said originally. I wasted so much time, I was disgusted. I don't know if she was intentionally or unintentionally dishonest, but either way, not good. One year later they haven't improved. My advice for the drive thru is you wait at the window for your food to be given to you in the order that it was placed. They will attempt to give you a colored cone to have you wait in the parking lot, and I have done that many times for them before. DO NOT TAKE THE CONE. You are supposed to get the food in the order that it was placed. At times, you will be sitting in the parking lot for 15-20 minutes extra, wondering where your food is. It is unfortunate to see people want to scam systems instead of working hard and putting out good service and advancing because of it. I remembered why I stopped coming to this location a long time ago! Nothing has changed always an attitude problem! It just has gotten worse and worse the whole working force these young kids today and some grown-ups. We got an attitude because we did not here the girl this morning say next window and my husband started to order right away "I said next window "!!! This one is a hit or a miss. Normally a miss. If you place a slightly larger order make sure you check before you leave. Almost always something is forgotten. It could be a burger, nuggets or fries. Last time the whole meal was missing. They also seem to be very stingy on the utensils and sauces. Ordered 40 piece nuggets and only got 4 dip sauce asked for 2 more and they give you a dirty look like you asking for the world. Breakfast time if you get hot cakes they may forget the syrup. I could not believe how slow the service is through the drive thru. After waiting about 20 minutes on line I paid and drove up to the window to get my order. I sat there for 7 minutes before seeing a human being. Window was open but nobody there. Then the worker showed up and needed to be reminded what drink I wanted and walked away. Another five minutes later he handed me my food and drinks. I asked why it takes so long and he just said we are busy. Don't come here, it will for sure ruin your day. When you enter the establishment, you have to wait minimum 5 whole minutes before someone takes your order. After they take your order, you have to wait upwards of 40 minutes, and they have the gall to call it "fast food." Even worse, they prepare the drinks first, so by the time you actually receive what you paid for, your hot/cold drinks have become lukewarm. When you finally do receive your order, you have to hope they got it all right. Otherwise, it'll take another 10 minutes. I know McDonalds has no standards, but even for McDonalds restaurants, the food here is insulting. The only thing they can't get wrong is the soda fountain drinks--and they somehow even blunder that up. Ask for DrPepper? They'll give you Coke. Ask for Diet Coke? They'll give you Coke. Ask for your drink to have "light ice"? They'll fill 80% of your cup with ice. As for place itself, it has one table and 2 chairs off to the side. So have fun standing the whole time while waiting for your order. There are also no curtains so bring some sunscreen with you. I don't usually review restaurants but this place is so atrociously bad that I just had to. You're better off ordering from the restaurants around this place, and even if they're not fast food, they'll still get your order done far quicker and in a fraction of the time it takes to get your order here. read more

This McDonald's is located on the super busy Northern Blvd just east of the Clearview Expwy. Stopped by here midweek for a quick, late breakfast while en route to work at around 9:15am. It was drizzling at the time of my arrival and had rained a bit heavier overnight so some of the parking spaces were not very usable due to big puddles when you would exit your vehicle. Luckily, there were not a ton of people dining in at that time so there were some spots in the back that were not affected by accumulated water. There was no line when I walked in and a nice lady promptly took my order and it was ready in a just a couple of minutes. Seating was aplenty, especially upstairs (yes, there is a 2nd level). I grabbed a stool by the window at the back My order was freshly prepared, and the coffee was nice and hot (but not TOO hot). This was not a gourmet breakfast but it more than passed the quality test for what it was - big box fast food. I rarely opt for fast food breakfasts, but should I have to turn to it again anytime soon, I'd not mind coming to this McD's location if I'm in the area. My 4 stars is based strictly on the quality of what I expected from this fast food meal. It is NOT meant to be compared to a diner or similar options where my bar/expectations would be higher! read more

They are located off Northern Boulevard and near Clearview Expressway. The establishment is clean and well maintained. There seems to be a staff cleaning up and checking around he dining area quite frequently. They have a parking lot and also drive thru. Sometimes in the morning it can be challenging for parking. It seems that there are more cars in the parking lot than customers in the store. By far one of the better Mc Donald's around Queens. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming and our orders always right. The managers at all times help out their staff. For the most part they seem to be well staffed. Our orders are taken promptly and according. When it comes to the kids meal for he most part they have ALL the special toys/gifts that they post. They also have a second flor dining area. It's a McDonald's, open 24/7 with a drive thru and a parking lot. Stopped in here around 6:20am for breakfast as my car was being serviced down the boulevard and the Bayside Diner was not yet open. Ordered two Egg McMuffins and a large coffee with milk. The counter person must have been hard of hearing because it took me repeating my simple order three times before she finally got it right.
