I originally came here today to buy a cake for my brother. I noticed that there was a card up charge of around 2 dollars. Looking at the cake assortment, I found it to be quite limited with a steep cost. The one benefit of the cafe is that there is outdoor seating. The ambiance is very calm and inviting with ample space to sit. There is also an extensive drink menu with some amazing dessert options. I used to go to Lulu and Dino all the time, but then they closed for a while. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, and their pastries and cakes are amazing. I especially loved the deals they used to have for pastries, especially if you came later in the morning. Everything always tasted so fresh. One of my favorites was the pistachio mousse cake, and I also love the red bean buns. I also loved that if you ordered a full cake, they used to give complementary sparklers, candles, and a cake slicer, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made the experience really special. I did stop going for a little while because of a previous issue with dairy charges. In my last visits before the closure, the barista/cashier always charged only $.25 to change the dairy, which is fair, but the owner or manager came over and started raising their voice, saying I had to be charged $2 or $3 extra. The barista and I both felt that was absurd, and thankfully the cashier didn't charge me the higher price, but the experience left me uncomfortable, so I stopped going. I recently heard they are under new management, so I wanted to give them another try. I'm excited to check them out again and see how things are now. Super fun and cozy cafe! My dad introduced me to this place while I visited NYC and loved it. He showed me all of his favorite pastries and rolls, as well as coffee drinks. One of my favorite bakeries in the neighborhood! They always have such yummy treats and I love their bingsoo! We were here recently for a treat after a Valentine's Day dinner. There's a good amount of tables and the cafe is very quaint and reminiscent of a French cafe. There is parking as well, which is always a bonus! The staff is always pleasant and service is very quick. I've been coming here for a few years now and I'm always happy with the service! We live close by and visit fairly often, especially for the breakfast special. The pastries are very good, and the service is excellent. However, since they reopened, unlike in the past for the breakfast special, I was disappointed that they wanted to charge an extra dollar for decaf, and an extra dollar for iced coffee. One of the best cafes I've been to! The drinks and desserts are so good and the decor is nice. I got the watermelon drink and it was perfect, the raspberry mousse wasn't so sweet which was great. The tiramisu latte (with oat milk) was sweet and very strong. The strawberry and banana smoothie was heavy and milky, if you like that for smoothies then it'll be perfect. We got four drinks and a dessert, total was $35. The service is what stood out the most. I came with a table of 5, there weren't any tables for us there were only window seats. One of the workers, I didn't catch her name which I regret but she was tall and had long black hair, she tried to get us a table by moving people around (two people taking up four seats). It's not common where you see workers care about their customers without expecting a tip. There are also clean bathrooms upstairs which was convenient. read more

My family decided to stop by Lulu & Dino because we heard that they had really good bingsoo. We decided to choose the fruit one and it was so sweet and refreshing! All of the fruit was extremely ripe and the condensed milk really brought everything together. I loved how they didn't use shaved ice, but shaved milk because it made everything taste a lot more milky and sweet. The service was great where they provided us sharing cups/utensils and took our order in a timely manner. It was completely packed when we arrived and we saw most of the people have already finished their food. Seems like they need to have a better protocol with seating time restrictions because my family had a hard time finding a seat. We got a Pistachio Mousse cake for our friends' birthday. The top layer is pistachio mousse, the second layer is chocolate mousse, and the bottom layer is a light chocolate cake. The three layers go pretty well together, and many of my friends say they enjoyed the cake and asked where it came from. I like that this cake has flavors different than the usual ones seen at other bakeries! I hope to see more interesting flavors but this one was certainly fun. This place is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And such a quaint cafe. I was immediately drawn to their bread and pastry area. There were some items that were not made in-store and instead made by other local artisans/bakeries. I happened to grab a blueberry croissant made by Canaan Bread Bakery. I knew that when I arrived, I wanted some kind of cake to celebrate my birthday. So, I went to the display to see what they had. I stood in line to order and there were guests on the other side of the line that threw themselves in front of me to speak to the lady working at the register. I thought I stood at the wrong place but then a guest behind me, who is a regular there, said that those guests were wrong and we were right since this is where the line always is. But no one said a word at the register (there was a gentleman standing beside the lady). I was a little peeved at that but what can you do? Maybe a sign that lets guests know where the line begins? Especially for us newbies to the cafe. Ok now the real review... while I was impressed by the cheesecake and pistachio mousse cake, my stomach was wishing that I didn't put it in such great despair for these delicious cakes. I have 0 complaints about the pistachio mousse cake. But the cheesecake, I could have done without the hint of lemon in it. The blueberry croissant was the best thing that I bought!!!!! And I'm sad it wasn't even something that Lulu & Dino makes. For my next visit, because I will be back, in hopes to give this place a 5 star, is to try the coffee. Everything the baristas were making smelled soooo good. I regret not getting a coffee the day I walked in! But I'm so looking forward to my next visit because I'm eager to taste what Lulu & Dino has to offer coffee wise. Overall, solid cafe in the Bayside area. This was my first time here at this bakery and what a lovely place it is. They offer a fine selection of baked breads, desserts, muffins and bagels. The coffee and tea situation is very good as well - too many to list (see photo). I stopped in to check this place out after dinner on a Friday night and it was still buzzing with customers. Dine in option as long as you show your vax card. Otherwise, you can sit outside in their garden like oasis. The place is well lit and beautifully decorated. In fact, some of the displays offer items for sale. The classic perfume and candle sconces for sale are gorgeous. I wish I had the space to display them in my own home. Gifts on site as well so it's possibly a one stop shop for any hostess gifts and last minute "need to bring something" situation if going to someone's home. The baked goods and cakes are also scrumptious. I bought the strawberry slice and the pistachio Mousse. Both were delicious for their own reasons. The cream on the strawberry cake was super light and airy. Excellent. The staff I must say, made the stop really enjoyable. While we only had a few minutes of interaction with them, both gentlemen behind the counter were adorable and friendly. Andrew specifically, was a comedian in training. This is the 4th (or 5th?) reincarnation of a French-Korean style bakery at this location, and in my opinion, the prettiest one yet. The decor is modern yet soft, with pastel florals that remind me of Laduree. A chic parisian vibe. The inside has plenty of seating, but there are tables outdoors as well. They have a small curated selection of desserts, but they all look very high quality. I tried the chocolate mousse which had just the right amount of sweetness. They also serve La Colombo coffee and tea here. It was nice and laidback here during off peak hours, and a good place to meet friends or for a date. Nice cozy Cafe located on Northern Boulevard. I got a Yelp notification about their bingsu & thought why not give it a try since I never had it before. It was the Oreo bingsu & you get a lot for $16. It was a good one time thing. I'm not a big fan of icy desserts because after a few minutes they become too watery & same happened here with all the ice that makes up the bingsu bowl. They give plenty of oreo cereal & oreo cookies in it & mix in some mochi with whip cream on top. The inside is very vibrant & cozy. Bathroom is clean. There's plenty of free parking available in their parking lot. Come here for the bingsu & try some of their other items as well if you can. I highly recommend this place. read more

The coffee menu is pretty standard. There are lots of sweet and savory baked goods. They're not all consistently labeled, but it was easy to get some quick help. I tried their almond croissant, which was good but could always use more filling. We also got two sandwiches, which were more satisfying and unique: bulgogi and ham and cheese.
