Fresh Fruit Bingsu 과일 빙수 ~$21
    James M.

Met up with a friend who picked this place bc, for the past couple years, he's always seen it driving by and found it aesthetically pleasing. Decided to try the Fresh Fruit Bingsu, which was certainly good, but not ~$21 good. Next time, I'll try their pistachio mousse. Friendly service, clean decor, great lighting, multiple tables, bathroom upstairs. Convenient parking lot with ~8 spots. Free parking on Springfield.

I used to go to Lulu and Dino all the time, but then they closed for a while. Their coffee is absolutely delicious, and their pastries and cakes are amazing. I especially loved the deals they used to have for pastries, especially if you came later in the morning. Everything always tasted so fresh. One of my favorites was the pistachio mousse cake, and I also love the red bean buns. I also loved that if you ordered a full cake, they used to give complementary sparklers, candles, and a cake slicer, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made the experience really special. I did stop going for a little while because of a previous issue with dairy charges. In my last visits before the closure, the barista/cashier always charged only $.25 to change the dairy, which is fair, but the owner or manager came over and started raising their voice, saying I had to be charged $2 or $3 extra. The barista and I both felt that was absurd, and thankfully the cashier didn't charge me the higher price, but the experience left me uncomfortable, so I stopped going. I recently heard they are under new management, so I wanted to give them another try. I'm excited to check them out again and see how things are now. Based on my previous experiences, the coffee, pastries, and cakes have always been excellent, and I'm looking forward to enjoying them once more.

Lulu & Dino is alright but not great. I had their pistachio chocolate mousse which was good but nothing special IMHO & didn't taste super fresh (it's easy to tell with any desserts involving pistachio/any kind of nuts). Only after leaving did I also see their "B" rating as well. I'd pass on this place especially because there's no scarcity of bakeries in this area.

Super fun and cozy cafe! My dad introduced me to this place while I visited NYC and loved it. He showed me all of his favorite pastries and rolls, as well as coffee drinks. The pastry selection is vast and there's literally anything you could want. There are also lots of cakes and kitchenware available for purchase. The service was fast and while the cafe can get busy, we found a place to sit and enjoy the food and coffee. Will definitely come back!

Came across this cute little café in the Bayside area called Lulu's and Dino. Such a nice find! I ordered a lavender matcha latte and a cheese danish, and both were delicious. The service was great, and the space has a really cozy, welcoming vibe. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's definitely the kind of spot that's perfect for treating yourself now and then or catching up with a friend over coffee. I'll definitely be back!

One of my favorite bakeries in the neighborhood! They always have such yummy treats and I love their bingsoo! We were here recently for a treat after a Valentine's Day dinner. There's a good amount of tables and the cafe is very quaint and reminiscent of a French cafe. There is parking as well, which is always a bonus! The staff is always pleasant and service is very quick. I've been coming here for a few years now and I'm always happy with the service! I recommend popping by if you're in the area and looking for a good dessert spot! (Pics are from the holiday season.)

Cute little Cafe. They have the fried tofu snack that I love! It's much smaller inside than it looks. The caffeine free vanilla latte was very good!

Enjoying the new bakery selections! So many I've never seen before at other Korean bakeries. Really like that the variety also includes bagels, muffins and cheese danishes when I want my regular American morning breakfast or snack. Friendly service as usual and bright casual space to relax. So happy Lulu & Dino re-opened!

It was my first time visiting this establishment. They have a nice sitting area outside. When you walk in, you see a variety of breads, pastries, tea, and coffee. I decided to purchase a loaf of whole wheat bread. It was so fresh. The cashier was pleasant and asked me if I would like a beverage. The bread was put in a nice paper bag. I will definitely stop by again to purchase more bread.

We were in town for Thanksgiving and our hotel was a short walk away from this bakery. I decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. They had a wide variety of baked goods and breads, bagels, cakes, coffees, teas and smoothies. They also had plenty of tables for eating there, and it was quite full. I purchased the blueberry danish, the chocolate croissants and a bag of garlic bread. All three items tasted great. I would definitely return here again if staying in the area.

One of the best cafes I've been to! The drinks and desserts are so good and the decor is nice. I got the watermelon drink and it was perfect, the raspberry mousse wasn't so sweet which was great. The tiramisu latte (with oat milk) was sweet and very strong. The strawberry and banana smoothie was heavy and milky, if you like that for smoothies then it'll be perfect. We got four drinks and a dessert, total was $35. The service is what stood out the most. I came with a table of 5, there weren't any tables for us there were only window seats. One of the workers, I didn't catch her name which I regret but she was tall and had long black hair, she tried to get us a table by moving people around (two people taking up four seats). It's not common where you see workers care about their customers without expecting a tip. There are also clean bathrooms upstairs which was convenient.

It took us a while to decide on what to buy partly because we were buying also for our friends. Naturally, we were asked relatedly by at least the different staff if we needed help or if we were ready to order. Each time, they seemed genuinely want to help, and made us feel welcome with their smiles and gentle demeanor. For myself, the pistachio muffin was totally satisfying and I confirm they did not slump on the nuts. The crunchy eclair was a BIG hit with our friends, and the rest is kind of a blur but I know we enjoyed everything we tried. We'd go back without hesitation. I hope they keep up the great work.

It comes in cubes so definitely easier to share. CRUNCHY: this is the very must!! It's chocolate mouse inside with layers of other chocolates. Plus with nuts on it. It's like a ferrero but bigger! We added ketchup and mustard. Also came with two filled donuts, which we went with one Nutella and one strawberry cream cheese. You have option to put cinnamon or white sugar and we went with cinnamon sugar. All made to order and wow, sooo good! Corndog had a good crunch with each bite, good flavor. And the cheese pull, impressive! The donuts were pillowy, soft, light, and filled very well with each flavor. Not overly sweet, but just enough. Will be returning to try other menu items. Stepping inside of this magnificent dessert emporium I became perplexed by the variety of desserts and pastries that were very desirable and readily available. In the words of Vinnie Barbarino, I'm so confused (IYKYK). It's a different setup that causes the line to move faster than it used to, I see the improvement. The ordering is done in one place and cashing out is next to it, in the same area. You still walk in and head straight to the display cases where you pick you pleasure. I did not pick my names sake only because it slipped my mind due to me being focused on breakfast. No, I don't eat cakes for breakfast. I picked up a couple croissants, apple turnover, a couple of cheese Danishes, and an almond croissant. Service was prompt and the employees were attentive as well as pleasant. I like how they approach the counter and inquire about your status versus staring at you letting you try to figure out if someone is going to help you or not. At the check out, there's the coffee station or tea. I ordered 2 French Vanilla coffees, to say the least the French vanilla flavor seemed distant to none. On the second trip it was exact same coffee request with the same results. An improvement needed is to have different sweetners for the coffee. Not everyone wants white sugar or sweet n low. Since the vanilla syrup is not sweet enough, another liquid sweetener can work. Nonetheless this was such a sweet experience! Inspire more, Yelp more!

For one, I think they strategically set up shops in areas far out in Queens that are not easily accessible or overrun by the masses--this can easily bring down a business' quality. We ordered a variety of things to try, including their range of char siu baos, like the pineapple bun, the snow crust, and the regular baked bun. Definitely a step up above what Mei Lai Wah is now, with the chunky cuts of meat, but way too sweet, even with the regular version. Highly suggest just sticking with the regular unless you're really curious about the pineapple or snow crust, which really just adds a layer of sugar. My mom spotted their sachima and quickly snatched one up. They sell a small selection of Southern Chinese and Hong Kong baked goods and pastries, but don't expect the variety of a Chinese bakery. Prices are a bit steep, and I don't know if it varies by location since this location is in a higher-cost area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here if I'm craving a good char siu bao - most Chinese bakeries do them well, just a matter of finding them. Most people who came in when we were there seem to buy them in boxes so either they're a hit at parties/events or some households really love them.

The fact that patrons have to shout over each other while sharing speaker music doesn't help with the ambience of enjoying a delicious cake over an interesting conversation. I also visited their website online, and noticed a lot of Stock Ai made photos and videos. I even found the website hard to navigate as well because it wasn't loaded with actual cakes and up to date pricing. So quite honestly the online website wasn't helpful with what they had in the shop. * Perhaps a future improvement between tables might be an above head moveable divider which actually could provide some privacy.
