Pulling in to the parking area shared between the McDonald's and the Dino Mart on Samish Way in Bellingham on Wednesday 25 October 2023, I found a few open spots at the far side of the turn in. The entrance of the building was easy to find as was the front counter and electronic kiosk stations where one could place one's order. I placed my order via the electronic kiosk station, then was directed to the front counter to pay upon selecting cash as my method of payment. I went with an Oreo McFlurry and opted to dine in-restaurant. The interior was starting to pick up in traffic and it was about the beginning of the lunch hour. In terms of ambiance, there was good airflow/ventilation, however I got a bit cold as I ate the McFlurry and went back to my car to finish it. For the McFlurry, it was served well mixed and with one of the fancy spoons with a square-shaped handle. It was a tasty creamy treat after a morning exploring in Bellingham and satifismied my belly and my tastebuds. read more

Wow. Worst service I've ever received in my life. Went at 4 am after closing the restaurant I work for. Put in a mobile order and waited a few minutes before going through the line, it was literally only sausage McMuffins. Lady at the window said she can't take orders for the next five minutes. 30 minutes later radio silence. Called the store and she said "I told you we're not taking orders so idk what to tell you, have a good day I guess? And hung up on me. Saturday morning 10/11. Blonde girl. The bathrooms are disgusting. Now I know customers can make a mess but staff doesn't keep up. The Sinclair station had a discrimination issue. They don't sell lotto they don't take ebt food stamps nor give cash back because in their own words don't want homeless people to steal. They don't want people who are poor & homeless to come into their business. They specifically said that homeless come into buy lotto tickets so they can steal. It's a clear bias issue & really disappointing. They've been doing so for 2+ yrs apparently. So I'm going to assume the McDonald's also does the same as if that's the attitude of one half of the business it's prob the attitude of the other. Considering they have a code to prevent homeless people from accessing the restroom it seems like it's a mutual disrespect for those who are less fortunate. read more

Samish Way store: never have I had such rude, mean spirited service but from the MANAGER of this store! I understand they were busy and expected to wait. However, I never expected to be chewed out for not having my order ready when I finally got to the border board.! The second lane doesn't have a menu visible until you get passed the large post blocking the view. I asked for just a couple of minutes to decide. "Go ahead when you are ready". "Hello. I am ready. Hello. Hello??!" The manager screamed at me for not being ready when she was! At the window, when I tried to educate the person with a better response she could have used it: " I'm sorry for the wait. What would you like?" I was cursed at and screamed at me with "you should try working this kind rush in fast food!" I told her that I have done it while going to school at the same time. McD closer to the I-5 in Bellingham. Service is quite fast. Staffs are friendly. Self order kiosks are there. Food is typical McD. Plenty of seats. Nice ambiance to be honest. Decent amount of parking spots as well. Well that's pretty much about this place! read more

some of the worst service in town, they are super slow and quite rude. when you come in to order they have no one at registers to help you and when asking for someone the employees deliberately ignore you. staff isn't very nice either, usually have terrible attitudes. Specifically an employee named naudia didn't have her name tag showing so i had to ask her name because she had used a swear word while getting my order she said and i quote "im trying to get this shit figured out" then she closed the window and walked away.These kind of interactions are very common at the restaurant and either the manager or general staff needs to be replaced or retrained because i can't believe the level of disrespect and blatant disregard for the customer.I thought the king street mcdonald's was bad but this is ridiculous. There's no reason that a food service worker should be ignoring customers or cussing at them like they are talking to their friend. I went here and I legit ordered two items. I was very very polite and very welcoming and warm to the lady that helped me, she handed me my food while she glared at me and didn't say a word. Saying have a good day isn't a requirement I don't really care that much it isn't that deep but when I asked her for a sauce she looked at me and rolled her eyes and again handed them to me while she glared and just walked away. I thought that was the end of it but when I opened my bag I was DISGUSTED to find OLD smelly hash browns that clearly were not ok to serve. What kind of employees do that, if you don't want to work in customer service then find a different job. I am a paying customer I don't want to spend my money at an establishment that is okay with selling anyone old nasty food while they glare at me the whole time. Don't use the app here. I just placed an order on the app and the app didn't give me a code for the drive through but it charged my account. They said without a code they can't give me my food even though I payed for my order. The lady said with no code there is nothing she can do even though I showed her my account got charged. This place took my money and didn't give me my food. Manager was rude about it and wanted me to pay for my food twice so I just took the loss and left. I feel robbed by this place. They encourage you to use the app and then don't give you the food you ordered when you do. They used to have some really great employees but something must've changed. read more

When I went in the guy at the counter didn't ask me what I wanted (no how can I help you or what can I get started for you) then once I started to ask for my quarter pounder no ketchup and small fry he walked over to the register and plugged it in the machine. When he did, however, he put in a double quarter pounder and no small fry. When I corrected him that I wanted just the single I think he took off the small fry. He then asked if I wanted to make it a meal and add a drink and he said "I don't mean to pressure you" and I wasn't so I told him no then waited for my food. Once I got it, it was the double quarter pounder, no ketchup but no fry. I went back to the counter and waited for about a minute for someone to realize I was there then I asked for the small fry that wasn't on my ticket and I paid for it then had to wait about another two minutes and almost missed my bus. Plus they don't have mustard packets on the counter so you have to ask for them so I had to wait some more for a manager to come over and frantically look for mustard packets and have someone else help her find them. They used to be a 24 hour breakfast available venue, then became an up until 11 AM breakfast available venue, and now are a limited menu and maybe you'll get breakfast before 11 AM venue. Also quality went down. where is that consistency McDs? read more

A very pretty 3.5, almost like a contemporary design as you can see lol. That one and only central table with those flashing lights, is a winner and sure to impress your date ;) Off the exit 252, it's the next closest to after Bellis Fair in case you miss that one, which is considerably more spacious. The one nice thing about this one is it's open 24 hours and you can buy gas at the same time and place, all connected. read more

You have made it basically impossible for anyone who values their time to go to this restaurant or any of the McDonald's in Bellingham for that matter. Best coffee for $1 (any size). Always great friendly service here at this location. I've been to McDonalds all around the world and that is not always the case. I'm not going to review McDonald's food. If you're there to eat, you already know their menu. We go to this McDonald's because it's the only one in town that has a toddler play area. It's a great place to kill a few hours on an icky winter day or a very hot summer day when you've run out of ideas for the kids. This particular McDonald's is usually pretty clean, including the restrooms. The downsides of this restaurant is that there is a frequent homeless population that loiters around the restaurant, either smoking outside, or sometimes, sitting inside (almost always in the children's play area because it's furthest from view from the manager/front area). One other issue with this store, and it's a big one, is that the play area (tile) floor is ridiculously slippery when it's wet outside. There are no mats on it and the floor is very greasy. Not a good combination. We've complained to the manager many times about this and it never changes. While sitting there letting the kids play, I've seen person after person walk in and unexpectedly slip and slide on the floor. read more

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast on our way to Seattle. I was surprised how cool and clean the decor was in the place? It was modern, with a retro 70s feel, with lots of bright colours! The front counter staff were very nice and professional. After our order was taken, we were given a number to put on our table, to which a staffer promptly brought out our food to us! This was a nice touch. Been to a few McD's here and there, but this one was the coolest one I've ever been in! My son and I really liked this one, and will be back. read more

Just left this place-immediately was so. So. Rude. The blonde girl with braids was extremely rude. A worker was pressure washing and we couldn't here a single thing yet was so angry at us that we couldn't hear her.... They first should have the decency to stop pressure washing the whole drive thru when someone is trying to order. We kept reiterating that we couldn't hear her so we went out of the car and was trying to communicate but she was ignoring us. By the way- no one was in line it was empty. When we got up to pay she was frustrated after we were trying to pull our card out of our wallet and it took less than a minute for her to close the window on us trying to hand her our hard and express with her hands to her microphone that she was annoyed then slammed her hand on the window repeating the total. Then we waited for our food at the drive thru parking spot and I'm assuming a manager of some sort came up to us and said we couldn't come out of the car during a drive thru which I proceeded to say well we couldn't hear you guys someone was pressure washing and I said we work in the food industry and her ignoring us and her impatience was out of line. Then they proceeded to also fight with us... if you work in a college town where you deal with homeless, drunk students, and simply just regular customers and you act like this at 5am in the morning-you shouldn't work in any customer service job. This place is more concerned with their "drive times" then customers. As I was paying the manager was talking in the cashiers headset asking why she was taking so long.
