5 stars for this Dairy Queen. The service is very friendly and timely. The drive-thru seemed quick the few times I've gone through, and most importantly, the ice cream has always been thick & cold. I've been to some DQ and gotten soupy ice cream which is a horrible waste of money and whatever that stuff is they make soft-serve from. This DQ keeps their machines churning out super cold, thick soft-serve, and a small strawberry sundae is less than $2...how awesome is that?! read more

Maybe it's the time of day, maybe they're always like this, but it really was one of the fastest mobile order pickups I've ever had, if not the fastest. Food is typical McDonald's level quality, what we really go to McDonald's for, the consistency, always knowing what we're getting. It's a bit cramped getting into and out of depending on size of vehicle as location is in a built up area of town. Inside is very clean and orderly, setup is a bit weird and can see how might be difficult to move around inside when it's busy. If have chance to will come back. read more

So me and my 3 and two year old kid where in this McDonald and there where teenagers with no shirt on boys to be specific. They looked drunk there was powder on the floor coming out of there pockets also there was a higher homeless guy that striped naked and tried to dance in front of my kids. They also tried to talk to my kids! SO WEIRD!!! wait time was really long there was a mess in the men's bathroom there was a janitor who had plastic bags on his feet! Can't really go wrong with McDonald's, especially with their $5 for 20 McNuggets deal. Too bad the exchange rate with the Canadian dollar sucks right now. (good for Americans, bad for Canadians) Parking is plentiful along the side of the restaurant. The inside is relatively clean, but also looks dated (looks like mid 2000s). Guess they haven't updated to that new McCafe style yet. Staff were friendly and quick As Kenneth N. mentioned, this location has a separate (3rd party?) ice cream station, serving local goodies. THE WORST customer service. I waited in line for over an hour as an Uber Eats driver for two orders. I got to the speaker 5 minutes after breakfast started and they told me that they could not fulfill the orders that should have ALREADY been made and that I sat there and wasted my time for nothing. I realize they did what they are supposed to do- that's a problem. The solution should involve helping the customer. They refused to complete the orders. This is piss poor customer service, but it's pretty much to be expected from any McDonald's in Whatcom County anymore. "The customer is not our problem" seems to be their new motto. I decided do to lack of time to try the king street McDonald's. I have not been there since they decided to close the store for remodeling and did not tell the customers. I ordered a small fry with no salt. I received the meal and the fry's were loaded with salt. I came back in and had to yell to get someone's attention after standing there for a long time. The woman who came to my assistance said she watched the person prepare my fry's and they were not salted. then she said is there anything else I can do for you in a very snarky tone. I said just get me some no salt fry's like I get from the other McDonalds. We ordered Uber Eats. The Uber Eats people handled the situation well, but McDonalds King St is the worst McDonalds in Bellingham. And that's saying a lot, because it is a McDonalds. We ordered a 4 piece crispy tender meal, and they were out of that. As a replacement, they offered us a 10 piece chicken nugget which we agreed to, however, they still charged us for the 4 piece tender meal which is more expensive. This half of our order did not even come to our door. No drink, no fries, no crispy chicken tenders OR nuggets, OR SAUCE which we all know is the best part. The other half of our order which we did receive was a pico guac signature burger with crispy chicken and an artisan roll, extra guac and pico, no ranch. It came with EXTRA RANCH, no pico, no guac. The hash brown we ordered was delightful with the medium minute made orange juice. However, this was the only enjoyable part of the meal. 1 star is generous of me. Every single time me or anyone I know go to King St, they mess up orders. At least they gave me a free meal as compensation. I think I deserve at least that. read more

So I had been coming to this location regularly bc I really like McDonalds Chicken, both tenders and sandwiches but no 7/10 times they are out of chicken. Now the fact is, they aren't out but much like McDonalds always does, they just don't want to do the work of making that item. I'm even willing to wait but the answer is no, we are 'out' which I know better than that. The staff seems friendly but the management needs to either 1) ensure they order more product so they aren't always out OR 2) adjust the menu to signal certain items won't be available after a certain hour. JP, Luis, Robert, Josh all did exceptionally well with taking my order, double checking everything, and satisfying every need I didn't even know I had. They went above and beyond in everything. JP took my order with patience and grace. Luis, Robert, and Josh all worked behind the scenes and were equally wonderful in doing everything efficiently and quickly. I am so satisfied and will continue to support this mcdonalds first and foremost before any other. They went above and beyond than what was expected of them.
