I called right within the 24 hr notice, be mindful of seeking to place a small or large catering order. Customer service was spectacular! The menu offers something for every dietary preference. I really appreciate the wrap option, as it makes it easier for clinicians to place their selections to the side if they are in a rush. The pasta, and spinach vegetarian wrap were delicious. First time visit. Service was quick--with a smile and great customer service. This is how all businesses should handle their paying customers. Immediately sitting down inside was questionable--multiple empty tables dirty so I cleaned one myself with the wipes I carry. Food arrived and appeared made exactly the way we ordered it--removing mayo and getting other sauces. The music was blah--pop is NOT what we enjoy. Finally got a chance to try this place. I was very impressed. The bread was perfectly baked. Crunch on the outside soft in the inside. It's was the perfect delivery device for the Philly I got. The meat was tender and delicious. My husband got the Italian and a cup of clam chowder. Let me tell you... I wish I had gotten then chowder! It was so meaty and tasty. OK, I'm just gonna say this right now. This is probably the best two sandwiches in the whole Washington state.!! I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and the cheesesteak. Everything was absolutely fantastic. I am a real East Coast guy so hearing eggplant Parmesan on the menu is a complete shock out here in the northwest. The cheesesteak was good not cheap meat. Ok so, I had the Italian Deluxe, heated, and dang of it wasn't like a Schlotzkys original without olives. Bread was amazing and blistered which means great baked bread, veg was fresh, and meat was yum. Really great place. Easy to order, places to sit, though parking I think could get precarious. I have heard of The Sandwich Odyssey for years, but never been here. I decided to change that today. I ordered a the Italian and it did not disappoint. Exceptionally great tasting meats and cheeses. And dripping with dressing, just as I requested. Incredibly quick friendly service. It probably deserves 5 stars considering it is located in Bellingham. We stopped by Sandwich Odyssey on our way back from Vancouver. We ordered the Philly Stack & Chicken Stack sandwiches and shared them half & half. The bread is excellent - very soft interior with a crispy but not too hard crust. The ingredients also all seemed to be of good quality. Steak was tender - not chewy like the lower quality products you so often get these days. My only criticism would be that the sandwiches could have both used a little bit more moisture/sauce, but overall they're pretty good. read more

I order lunch from here at least once a month. They have consistently great sandwiches and amazing potato salad.

We stopped in for lunch. My husband got the French dip and I got a Philly cheese. However my husband didn't like the sauce on the French dip, maybe aoli on it? So I traded sandwiches and I liked the French dip better anyways and pretty sure it was aoli and not horseradish. I liked it and ate half and saved half for later. Service was friendly.
