If I could give 0 stars I would. 1:20 in the afternoon on a Sunday. No ice for drinks if ordered through the drive through (but ice available in the restaurant). Ordered unsweet tea, was given sweet. Walked it inside and was told "we don't have unsweet". Maybe should have said that when I ordered. When asked if I needed a receipt at the window, I said no. Was told to park in spot 6 to wait for my food. Waited 10 minutes with no food. All other cars left and drive through was empty. Went back inside to ask where my food was and was told they needed my receipt to start building my order. So I paid $13 for no food and a drink I cannot drink. Thanks for nothing. read more

Benton Harbor McDonald's at least at this time 3:34 in the afternoon has an amazing staff. Their customer service is beyond satisfactory. The reason I say that is to nail Jones was one of the best most helpful employees or managers I've ever met. I came through the line twice to get just a cup of sauce and when I came in for the third time she made sure I got what I needed and didn't act crazy or be rude she was so nice and so sweet definitely go to this McDonald's in this time frame because she is amazing read more

I'm officially convinced the people who work here don't know how to read like at all . The employees get rude very quick and when you try to tell them they messed up your order they will be quick to get rude with you , not to mention the second you place an order they put that the order is finished on all their screens to try and seem like a better mc Donald's but it just causes them to screw up your food even more . I'd also recommend to NEVER enter the bathrooms , theirs mold and dirty toilet water everywhere in there and it also smells like sewage in the McDonald's half the time . Terrible food , terrible customer service , employees are beyond rude and don't even want to do any work , the bathrooms are filled with mold all along the bottom of the walls in the restrooms and there is dirty toilet water all over the toilets, walls, and toilet paper holders . Whenever I order a frappe it takes over 10 minutes because they rush orders off the screen so I'm constantly almost getting scammed out of a $5 drink unless I tell them I ordered it , not to mention they are never opened in the mornings until 7-8 AM when they are supposed to be opening at 6AM and I caught all the employees just standing there laughing and ignoring the car at the speaker when all the outside lights and menus are on and the speaker greets you but no one ever comes on to take your order so I'm finally posting my review with photo and video proof. One of the worst mcdonalds in the area.. Wait nvm it is the WORST! Around a year ago, me and my grandma went to this mcdonalds to eat inside. And while we were waiting in line, I went to the bathroom, walked into the stall, and walked into someone taking a number 2. I was so embarrassed. He told me it was ok, and that the lock on the stall was broken. (Again, this was a year ago, so I dont know if the stall door has been fixed since then.) Skip this location if you can. The interior is spacious and modern, however the service is horribly slow and our order had a couple missing items. We tried to order via the kiosk, which we found out was out of order at the end when we tried to pay. It was also very strange that the employees are constantly yelling out to each other to fill the order, but the actual hustle and quality of output was absent. The one positive we noticed was a kind interaction between an employee and a homeless customer. It is probable that homeless people frequent this location. I could be wrong since this assumption is based on observing a few people present as well as a couple cars parked jammed to the ceiling with hoarded possessions. This place has by far the worst service I have ever been to in my ENTIRE LIFE, I was waiting at the drive through for over 10 minutes not a word was said to me and that doesn't even mention the fact that almost every single time that I've ordered from this McDonald's they have found some way to mess up my order. It's the only fast food open 24 hours right off the Interstate within a couple of exits up or down from here. If you're traveling in the middle of the night, try to aim for the truck stop at the border if you need a hot meal. Probably the worst location I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them! The service is really slow, three people ahead of me had errors with their orders and they had to come back, employees were taking their breaks right by the pickup area! I could see the disgust with people when their orders were incorrect. I wonder what the interview process was for this location??? When this location is audited by the district manager they will probably agree that this is the least efficient location in the whole country! DO NOT stop at this location! I have seen a mouse or rat (not sure which it was) when were in the drive thru and will never return. When we pointed it out to them they said "oh, we thought we got them all"! So they knew their were rats and didnt bother to stop business until they knew they were all gone. Will be avoiding this location from now on and would suggest everyone else do otherwise. Have lived in this area my whole life and this is the only McDonalds I've had this issue with. After we ordered fresh nuggets and received nuggets that's wasn't fresh, the staff said that they couldn't give us fresh nuggets due to low staff. I then asked for my money back. They told me to pull up. So while we were waiting, I went inside and spoke with the manager Chad he said was his name. He was a white heavy set guy. Now I counted 7 staff from just standing in one spot up front. Chad said they were low on staff even though 7 people up near the area I could see is not short staff. But Chad said, he wasn't sure why she said she couldn't give us fresh nuggets and he will bring us out fresh nuggets. Well, he brought us out nuggets but only 3 were fresh. Waited another few minutes & I got out of car and banged on window. Different employee comes up all irritated and I indicated our order was incorrect. Gives us attitude and tells us it'll be 3 minutes for coffee. A min later, she tells us we'll have to pull up. Male employee who brought coffee was very apologetic and asked my husband to double check order before leaving. GROSS!!! Keep driving!!! 1 star is generous! It's clear that the restaurant has been updated, but the food was dried out, there was an employee doing something to the floors with a noisy machine, but the floors were not getting clean (although the lady did tell us to be careful not to slip), and the tables were dirty. The bathrooms... There was paper all over the floor, every handle was filthy, poop and pee in the toilets, AND there was POOP on the changing table I had to clean off so I could change my son's diaper!!!
