It's McDonalds. Not much to say beyond that but definitely docked a star for the hand sanitizer being empty. Both employees we interacted with were friendly. Breakfast sandwiches were served within 3 minutes of ordering and were hot. It's an easy on/off from US-50. There's a sign on the highway directing you off the exit. It served its purpose, so I cannot complain too much. I'd recommend walking inside as there was no line but the drive- thru was terribly crowded. read more

The drinks are always flat... this location is very poorly operated. They always have a lot of people working so I don't understand why the service is so poor. Woke up on Thanksgiving morning pretty hungover and in no mode to make breakfast. Drove to my local McDonald's and it was everything I was hoping for. The service was prompt and the servers were polite. The food tasted like any other McDonald's and the fountain coke was a lifesaver. Definitely recommend. read more

Wow, where do I even begin? The only reason we still go to this McDonalds location is because it's the only one remotely close by. The one up by Annapolis Rd is really inconvenient. The staff here is just terrible. Rude, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. They don't even pay attention when you order, causing you to repeat said order two or three times. I am never automatically given a straw with my drink, I always have to ask...what kind of fast food place doesn't give you a straw with your drink? And almost as many times as they have forgotten the straw, they forget to put in the condiments I requested when I order. The drive thru line is ungodly slow, and going inside isn't usually a whole lot better. The only reason I give this location two stars and not just one is because they have yet to screw up my order. My fiance and I are both kind of picky eaters, and they do a pretty good job of accomodating special orders. read more

DON'T GO HERE. A friend and I stopped here at around 11pm on a long drive home to use the bathroom and get some late-night snacks. The bathroom wasn't *filthy*, but there were flies everywhere. The soap dispenser for the single sink was broken, and the water wouldn't even get hot. When we got in line for ordering, the group in front of us was apparently friends with the girl at the register and so their order (of 3 smoothies) took 10 minutes to complete. The manager on duty was 5 feet away the entire time and didn't chastise her or urge her to hurry up and complete their order. We finally ordered, after standing around for more than 10 minutes, and it took them another 10 minutes to fill our order -- OF TWO APPLE PIES AND TWO CUPS (there was a self-serve soda machine). During the half hour or so that we were there, we witness two people walk out of their shifts, a screaming match between the manager and the cashier, and there was a blatant tone of disrespect and hostility from just about everyone who worked there. I know I'll never be going there again -- I wish I'd waited the 20 minutes and driven to Upper Marlboro's McDonalds instead. read more

Incredibly slow and inaccurate service, especially at night. They made me wait 5-10 minutes AT the mic just to order. Then I waited another 20 minutes just to get the food. I saw two people who were in front of me park and go back in to get something corrected on their order and ended up having to do so myself. I ordered 4 hashbrowns and they only gave me one, apparently they don't know how to read the quantity on the order screen or something. I've seen a few other ridiculous sights here as well, they once closed in the middle of the day a few years ago and wouldn't say why, looked like they just didn't feel like working. And another day I saw a lady with her 7 year old daughter(on a school day) hocking jewelry out the trunk of her car in the parking lot. I would say go to the 197 one instead but honestly they're not a whole lot better for service, still a 10-15 minute wait time at night altogether just to get your food(not what I'd call fast food) and at least a 40% chance of having to go back inside and get your order corrected. I just drive all the way to the one in Lanham on 450 near the Ford Dealership or to Crofton on 3 near Royal Farms if I'm feeling like McDonald's at night. At least they try at those ones. Makes me really miss the Hilltop one, it was the closest to me and I never ever had issues with them. I work the night shift and have to stay consistent with sleep schedule so if I want to eat out on my off nights, there's only so many choices. What ever you do, stay away from this location!!! If you value your time, you will heed this warning. Due to the same size of this particular restaurant, the logistics are horrible in the kitchen and in the lobby. The one thing they were good at was taking orders quickly. The problem with that is it cause a traffic jam in the lobby of customers waiting for their food. I like this mc donalds but only during peak hours because the food is fresh and the service fast but not always friendly. don't stop in during the off time... employees will be so loud you can't hear your self think, the bathrooms will be dirty and i don't know who "james" is but he needs to answer the counter girl so she can stop calling his name every 15 minutes... every other day. if you are trying to go eat fast food after 10:30pm... hang it up and go else where. they will shut down the intercom system and take orders only at the payment window, one car at a time. I have waited in line for at least 20 minutes behind 4 cars on numerous occasions. my suggestion is to go to wendy's at the bottom of the hill as they are faster and fresher. so it gets a 2 star only during peak hours and i would give no stars any other hours. read more

This McDonald's has gone downhill completely! For the past few months there's literally a 20-30 minute wait at 6:40am, the food quality sometimes is horrible you can tell when they don't change their grease. I just left the drive-thru and I was told they're closed because they don't have anyone to work! Are you kidding me. I'm a frequent customer as my 8 year old enjoys breakfast every morning. This location need to hire all new employees and get new management immediately. The workers have horrible work ethic, they don't greet you and you can tell they don't want to work. This particular McDonald's is the reason, I will not go to McDonald's again for a really long time. I was hungry since morning and running around doing some errands, and ended up pulling on here for a quick filet of fish sandwich. The drive thru made me wait for 20 minutes in one of those parking spots where they bring your order when they are running late. I was listening to audio book and noticed that my 20 mins chapter was over since I was told to wait. I went inside and noticed several customers there who were complaining about order all mixed up. The women inside were out of control and I heard couple of them saying "oh lord, what a crazy day". Well, stop making remarks and fix the order. Anyway, I was so pissed off, I just wanted my money back and get out of there. Of course, that took another 10 minutes for them to do it. I thanked God, that those idiots are not working in a ER or Air traffic control center, as they would cause a death, every second. Taking a order for a burger and putting it in a bag is really a rocket science for some. Btw, while I was waiting for my money to be refunded, I noticed several flies. The food I have been served is usually 50% hot and fresh. However, like many others have mentioned, the service is quite slow. I think the manager needs to hire more people to work the kitchen and train them well enough so that the team can be on the same page. What keeps me coming back is the location. It's the closest one near the area. The other is too far away unless I'm on that side off 450. I just recently tried their mobile app to place an order...let's just say I probably should have went inside to order or through the drive-thru. They should probably do a better job of implementing the new technology of ordering to expedite food a bit faster and more accurately. This place is so understaffed that it took over thirty minutes to get a single cheeseburger. If the folks in charge are having this much trouble keeping the place staffed, management MUST bite the bullet and provide better pay to the workers in order for the place to function. I'm so over this McDonald's! They don't get your order right and when you call them on it, you get attitude. Guess what? You'll get that attitude right back if I don't get my correct order. This isn't the first time either and in the past, it's been small incidents that I let go. However, all those small incidents begin to add up and I'm fed up. Awhile ago, they gave me the wrong order of pies, which could have given me an allergic reaction if I hadn't bother to pay attention. I didn't say anything then. Today, I give them the benefit of the doubt because the last time was months ago. Not only did they mess up my order (which was missing), they refuse to replace my now COLD order because I had to drive back up there! Noone needs this kind of service or treatment. It's unacceptable and unappreciated. Hankering for that Big Mac or dying to save a buck? Worst experience ever. Saw that drive thru lone was long and decided to go in. This is on 6 hour road trip home so wanted quick. Placed order got receipt and table number. 20 minutes later nothing. No one including the manager moved with any sense if urgency and it was getting busier. I was table 28. At 25 min checked the overhead board our order number was not even on the board tried to talk to a manger who just dropped of order 29 and she shortly responded "everything is done in order" to which I responded I was order 28 and she promptly walked away from me. This place is nasty and ghetto. Pulled up with my family to cycle through the drive-thru and we were already met with boxes all around. These werent your average boxes, they had things all in them and had boxes IN boxes EVERYWHERE. The lady working on the speaker kept on pressing us up about their rewards system. This lady would not stop asking, we had already began placing our order and here this lady comes up with "are you paying with our rewards system". Not only that but they gave a sauce policy. One sauce for a 4 and 6 piece, two for a 10 piece, and three for a 20 piece. I personally don't know about anyone else but I cant just use three for a 20 piece. And we had ordered two big breakfast with hot cakes meals and we were give a SINGULAR syrup. Im not trying to ration my syrup with anyone. Now, the "hot cakes" were soggy and cold, even in between the flaps were cold. The orange juice was an absolute menace to this world. It was so bad that we had compared it with a spongebob episode where My. Krabs had asked Spongebob to water down the ketchup, so SpongeBobs rebuttal was that it was ketchup-ing up the water. They however, had failed at orange-ing up the water because it tastes like absolute shit. Im almost 100% sure that the syrup wasn't real, but I know that it is impossible to clean. It had stolen the napkin from my hands and had infused it witself to make a parents nightmare paste. My cousins ipad looks better than that paste. My aunt rebecca looks better than that paste, and she is currently decomposing. To conclude, stay away from the god forsaken McDonald's. read more
