So Sorry to all the pleasant employees of McDonald's at Lee Rd today. Longest lines ever and customers very aggressive. A lady went in front of me out of turn at drive thru. Expected confusion with my order but before I could verify, staff was checking with me because the lady who cut me off was definitely out of order. These aggressive people think they are so smart; glad the McDonald's employees were there to clean up your mistake. Yes today was extraordinarily busy day at 4:10 pm but even with the wait, I received nothing but smiles and friendly voices. I am guessing by the lady who went in front of me many people were angry and aggressive with employees. Kudos Lee Rd team once again you knocked it out of the park. We walked in and there were employees parked in a handicapped spot making love in the front seat of the car. We got in and I ordered 3 cookies and a bag of apple slices. We ordered at 10:23 and failed to receive our food until 11:05. Also, workers are going into the back and coming out to be on break with their friends instead of helping people working. If I had to guess there are around 5 employees on break instead of helping the people in the back fulfill orders. This is the worst experience I have ever graced at a McDonald's. If I ever have to see this restaurant again in my life I would rather brutally murder myself in the parking lot. I live down the street and have given this dumpster fire a few chances but still have yet to successfully place an order. My advice - don't bother, go to Subway. Might help them hit rock bottom sooner. The drive thru line here is always out the parking lot during lunch and dinner when the A teams are on duty (if you can call them that). We stopped at this McDonald's drive thru at 9:30pm on March 26, 2023. It was not busy, 1 car was waiting in a curbside pickup spot, we were at the window, and 1 car was behind us. We ordered our food with no problem, paid at the first window with no problem, then drove to the pick up window. It was closed but on the other side of the glass stood a guy with long stringy hair and red and white fingernails who was angrily pounding on a machine (pop machine?) that was just out of our view. He yelled some obscenities (yes, we could hear him yell even with the window closed), two other employees came to see what was wrong, then they all walked away from the window and were not seen again for several minutes. While sitting and waiting for our food [insert final jeopardy jingle here] the stringy haired dude came out the front door and delivered the order to the curbside car. On the way back into the building he hesitated, took a vape pen out of his pocket, and took some very long draws before he opened the door. He disappeared into the building and didn't return to the window for another 10 minutes. When he finally showed up with our food we made the mistake of asking why it took so long and he went ballistic. He acted as if we had no right to inquire about why it took so long and responded with a very glassy eyed, possessed, psycho look and condescending said "UNDER.STAFFED" with his jaw clenched so tight I'm surprised he could even squeeze out the words. Now, if he would have had a different attitude about it we would have understood and probably commiserated with him but he made us feel like their short staffed problem was somehow our fault. It caught us completely off guard so the only thing we said was "ok" while he continued to stare at us with his glazed zombie look. Our simple "ok" response must have really pissed him off and as we drove away from the window he waved his perfectly manicured red and white nails and gave us the one finger salute. This kid obviously hates his job and is NOT an asset to this restaurant, or society in general for that matter. He shouldn't be working in any environment where he has to interact with people in public. Unfortunately, with his shi++y attitude, rotten work ethic, and punk ass demeanor, fast food jobs or manure slinging will probably be his only calling in life. By the look of the reviews for this particular McDonald's their problems have been countless and less than favorable, so I don't expect this one to garner any response from anyone associated with the restaurant. However, if you read this, save yourself the anguish, skip the Lee Rd, Brighton, MI, McDonald's and head on down the road to the next one. read more

I stopped at this McDonald's while traveling. When I pulled out of the parking lot my entire bumper (brand new) came off. See pictures. The manager on duty told me they just replaced two of the parking barriers (cement) and the rebar wasn't set down all the way. It stuck up a few inches. See pictures. The manager, Geneve explained the store would cover the cost for repair. But has not reached out to me despite the incident being greater than 2 weeks ago. Multiple terrible experiences. This last one got me though. Ordered nugget kids meals. Missing nuggets in two meals....ordered no mustard on a cheese burger...had mustard....ordered a Big Mac meal, the top bun was in the middle and it looked like a bite was taken out of one of the patties. It started as a day like any other, but boy oh boy did that change very quickly once I entered this McDonalds. I planned to get a hashbrown, only one, nothing too fancy, but upon seeing a couple unoccupied registers and new robotic ordering machines, I knew this day was going to be different. Without the option of having it cooked well done on the new robot, I went to the counter where I hoped to get some help. That's when I met Scott. While making an effort to ask for the hashbrown well-done and pay for my order, Scott begins to berate me about how this robot will help create jobs (mind you only 10 seconds ago did I see my first McDonalds employee since entering.) Without hesitation Scott throws a soggy undercooked hashbrown at me in an effort to get me out the door. Sure, I may dress a little differently than others, but I deserve to be treated with a bit of dignity. He didn't realize I was there with someone else... For 15 minutes we waited for an iced coffee to arrive, brainstorming how ineffective this job-creating robot was at making food come out faster, while looking at the line of people waiting for similar orders. Needless to say, I will not be returning here for my morning hashbrowns. read more

Waited about 20 minutes in the drive thru to find out their ordering system was messed up internally. Finally paid and got our food. We ordered a Lg. Diet Coke, Lg. Sprite, 2 cheeseburgers, 1 Lg. Fry, a spicy chicken sandwich and a 10pc nugget. We received a Lg. Diet Coke, 2 cheeseburgers, a 4 pc nugget, a Big Mac, a Lg. Water and 2 Lg. Fries. On top of receiving a butt load of wrong food our food was all cold. At first I had a lot of hope that the reviews were all just angry people that are out to get McDonald's, and this McDonald's was like all the rest, turns out hope isn't something this location needs, it's new management. read more

i live in brighton and this is the worst stores ever. There was about a 20 minute wait to get 2 mcdoubles and a large fries, I was in the inner speaker lane and they took another order who arrived after me. Once I pulled to the window the lady barely spoke to me and was very slow getting my food out to me. After I got my food, the fries ended up being cold along with the burgers. I quit going to this store for awhile because of the issues, but I'm done with this one. I'll drive the extra five miles to the Whitmore Lake location at US-23 & M-36 (Exit 54 southbound/Exit 54B northbound) As someone who used to work at a McDonalds, I can be very sympathetic to those workers, but this store has drawn my ire once too many times. Some recent issues I've had: * I ordered a QPC with the recon (minced) onions and wound up with the regular (slivered) onions. * I order my fries without salt because McD's uses way too much salt on their fries since back when I worked at one. We always used a clean fry scooper to scoop out the fries. I can taste the salt when I order my fries there; I don't seem to have this problem pretty much anywhere I've gone. * As a 24 hour location, I have pulled up to this place at different times in the evening/late night. Sometimes the lobby is closed even though it is advertised as being open for 24 hours. No sign on the door is frustrating when you walk up to a locked door. Also, two nights ago (8/19/21) at 11:30PM, the lobby was closed (no sign) and I pulled up to the drive thru and waited sixty seconds with not even as much as recognition was there (and, no signs saying it was closed, either). You would think that someone would've taken one second to recognize that you were there and ask you to wait for a moment. Anybody, really; could be a manager for all I care. But to sit for sixty seconds with no recognition is unacceptable. Again, I will be going to the Whitmore Lake location from now on or stopping in Brighton if I must even though the latter one is a pain to get out of because you have to go north on Grand River to the mall and go through the mall to get back to GR to go south. read more

Quick stop on the way to Ann Arbor...Drive thru visit, got a pair of Quarter Pounders with cheese with the new fresh beef and wow! What a difference! Juicy and delicious unlike the previous version.
