McDonald's was fine. The nuggets were cold and fries cold too. Service was good though and they didn't forget anything.

Try serving food that's at least warm. This is the third time I've gone to the store and come out with cold food. I won't be going back.

Hair are you?! This is literally the second time, at this location, and the one in Wilsonville, where I've ordered a quarter pounder, and other items, only to find a big hair in my food. Not just a big hair, but a big long hair. This is twice now I've had to throw away food I filed an official complaint with the Wilsonville location, and checked on a three separate times by updating my concern, I'll need to never get a response . My daughter recently got a job at the a Canby, Oregon McDonald's, and after just one week, we had her quit -- and for good reason. One of the managers constantly nitpicked everything she did, to the point of harassment. No matter how hard she tried, it was never good enough. It was clear this manager had it out for her from the start. Eventually, my daughter reached her breaking point and confided in a manager she thought she could trust, explaining how she was being treated. Instead of handling it professionally, that manager went straight to the one my daughter had complained about and told her everything. And what happened next was absolutely unacceptable. This so-called manager then pulled my daughter aside and yelled at her -- told her she had no right to complain, that she doesn't "file complaints," and she should just "keep her head down and do what she's told." Seriously? That's how they treat young employees trying to learn and do their best? My daughter came home in tears. No job is worth being humiliated and verbally attacked like that. I immediately took her back to quit on the spot. What makes this even worse is that another manager there admitted this wasn't the first time -- they've had multiple issues with this same manager. How this person is still employed and allowed to manage anyone is beyond me. We will not being going back to this location and we will make it known to all local Canby residents not to support this location read more

They forgot my sausage McMuffin and a medium coke because they don't hire good employees

The service here is horrible unless you're Caucasian presenting. I usually have to come pick up the orders for my partner or office staff because there have been plenty of instances where if the driver is not Caucasian presenting, we have been asked to wait a moment and then have had several other vehicles in the lane next to us helped. We are also usually sent to the third window or the online pickup parking only to have ice cold food and items actually missing. They will also clear the entire drive through lane while we wait. We are not ordering anything complicated y'all. When I am the driver - I'm helped in the order I arrived in . Customer service is prompt and we never experience the delayed times either. As I am writing this today, we were skipped at the lanes for three vehicles. When we got to the window - the order wasn't ready and we were asked to pull to the third window. The drive thru line behind us is also being quickly cleared as well. My partner was the driver. We do not usually go inside because while the location is tidy. The service could use some work. read more

The night shift needs a proper manager. The kids that worked last night are sweet and all but completely unfocused. I got there and was told to goto the "very last window" so I did. Then I waited 15 minutes with no other cars in the line so I finally reversed to see what the hold up was. They weee sitting there just gossiping. Then after like 5 minutes of me sitting right outside there window the girl comes out and asks me if I am waiting for something.... Like girl, yes?? The 6 piece McNugget meal??? The food was already done but she needed to get the drink. Then I watched her follow the other person around gossiping while holding the bag of food.... The other person walked away at some point and she walked after him saying "no! Tell me, tell me, tell me!".. anyways, after 20 minutes I got the 6 PIECE McNugget meal and she gave me a card to a free combo without me even needing to complain.. This is a very nice McDonald's inside. The food is exactly what you'd expect, and the restaurant is clean. The main portion has a retro diner feel, obviously deliberate given the juke box. A separate indoor room adjacent to the main one has six tables and an indoor play area - and it's one of the excellent ones. A low slide for the really small kids (my under-two loved it), a big multi-level play structure up in the air, accessed by a spiral stair in an enormous plastic tree, and a long spiral slide down. There's also a "talking tube" from the ground up to the top. My oldest begs for it now. The employees are nice, and the noise from the play structure is pretty confined to the room it's in, only excepting when the door is open. (But most of the main room seating is away from that door, except the long counter facing the kids room - watch yours without the noise, anyone?) I got a Quarter Pounder there at 1 in the morning, and no I don't drink, and it was the best one I've had in decades. I know the beef is fresh now but, the beef was juicy and seasoned and everything else was just fine. It was cooked fresh to order, too. Nice attitude of the workers as well. read more

This is a review for the drive-thru only. Canby is a small town and a town full of fast food restaurants. My husband's family typically prefers Carl's but McDonald's has $1 any size beverages and for the holidays, peppermint hot chocolate. This particular location has friendly drive-thru employees and offers a punch card for any McCafe' drinks that can be used at several locally owned McDonald's locations. Since we bought 5 hot chocolates (offered with non-fat or whole milk) we filled up a punch card and on another trip, did the same thing so on our way out of town on a rainy cold morning, we got 2 free hot cocoa's for the man and the teen queen. They were happy and for cheap drinks, this place is A-OK. read more

Took my son to have snack after school not very often we come to McDonald's but it was quick! Sat at a table behind 3 employees one was in manager uniform 2 were cursing f-bombs every other word! I finally got so sick of it WE LEFT! Food was quick and good for what it is! But I suggest not eating inside there brand new restaurant cause you never know what your kids are going to hear! Possibly one of the best Mcdonalds I've been to. When I did a mobile order and they totally forgot they do not serve that item anymore, they simply gave me a different order but with free fries and a drink. When we paid, the guy gave our change in a passive aggressive way. I didn't like his attitude. McDonald's needs to hire higher quality employees with good attitudes! Dec. 2 2017 @ 3pm I witnessed a shift supervisor making food. He dropped a bun on the ground, threw it out but touched the greasy dirty ground in the process. Never once did He attempt to change his gloves. He proceeded to grab a fresh egg and muffin and continue with making the order with the same dirty gloves. I Immediately told the staff to throw out that persons food and they were hesitant. The area of the ground he touched with his gloves is heavily trodden by all employees, no doubt this is how everyone gets illnesses and disease. He never once thought about changing his gloves, his comfort to me says he does this regularily. read more

This McDonald's location sucks. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go through the drive thru I spend 10-15 minutes waiting for my food. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, it's incredibly slow. Let's not forget the countless of times my order has always been wrong or missing several items. You're better off going to the Taco Bell next door. This is an ongoing thing here at this location. Every time I get any muffin sandwich here it is extremely burnt. I have asked to have them adjust their toaster but I guess it goes in one ear and out the other(speaking of the owner). I do not blame the employees because they do not set the rules and regulations. I have been asking for extremely lightly toasted muffins and still get burnt muffins. Now, when I go to any mcdonalds NOT OWNED by the same person as the one in canby I NEVER have burnt muffins. Sweet and sour sauce smelled like my feet after a long day at work, also tasted like them. Fries were cold and chewy, they must have been leftover from the lunch rush, which would've been fine if my order wasn't at 10 pm. Was in line for 20 minutes in the drive thru. Only to not get the sweet and sour sauce for our 40 nuggets, then go inside to get the sauce, which like I said was rotten. My burger was dry as a bone, the lettuce in my snack wrap was brown. They are very friendly. If you have a large order in the drive thru they usually have you pull forward so they can complete the order. When pulling forward they do a great job getting the food out to you soon. The only draw back I have experienced in the more than 100 times I have been there is the road entry to the drive thru. If there is a few cars in line you are forced to wait in the road which seems unsafe. read more
