I had A comp meal with a number of food or drink choices. I decided on a McChicken. I used the app to complete the order except it charged me for the meal. I got my order and talked to staff about the error. He told me the offer expired. I corrected him by showing him the correct expiration date. He refunded me the cost and told me McDonald's was not a part of the app. What?? Anyways got my meal, ate the chicken, tossed the bun and was gone. Tried one of the new drinks. This was the blackberry passion fruit refresher. It clearly resembled some Starbucks items with the dried fruit on top. This flavor though didn't feel or taste special. read more

Worlds WORST McDonalds. They NEVER get order right. Missing food frequently ordered and getting simple requests such as "no cheese" wrong. Burgers overcooked. Doesn't matter who works there. THIS MCDONALD'S IS INSANE. Insanely... good! It's literally, no cap, the BEST McDonald's I've EVER been to... At least, in the last few decades; kind of can't beat those old school ones. Anyways, I was really shocked at how polite and competent the young staff were (I mean, it's a McDonald's who's expecting that no offense), and how hot, fresh, and crispy the food was! The bad reviews need to take a hike! It was incredible. Short wait, and he still apologized for it taking too long (wow!), and out come the HOTTEST, CRISPIEST, MOST PERFECT RATIO SALTED FRIES you will ever have the HONOR and PRIVILEGE of experiencing. Was looking forward to McDonalds location on Carefree Hwy. Unfortunately the 3-4 times I tried this location the food that has been served has been sitting and has not been served hot. I especially like McDonalds french fries when they are served hot or at least on the warmer side. When I receive hamburgers and fries that are on not served fresh and room temperature I am always disappointed. Especially fast food because I ralrely have fast food and only go when it's on the go and I am overly hungry. read more

This is a very poor representation of a Typical McDonald's. You walk in and there is no person to serve or help you. They have a couple of self orders machines that are entirely to hard to use. If you walk up to the geriatric counter, there is no one to help you most of the time. There is not even what you normally see above the counter which is a menu! After trying to figure out how to work the self checkout ordering machines for 10 minutes, I just got discussed and walked out. I will never go back. McDonald's has, is loosing their once great connection with customers. It looked to me that there was about only 3 people in the kitchen one of which would come out if necessary or if someone asked for help at the ordering machines. Another couple were at the machines having the same issues. I guess as long as in out Burger continues to keep their great service, I'll stick with them. read more

It was the first time I tried this location since it's new and a mile from my house. I went for the 20 piece/$6 nuggets. The girl at the checkout counter never cracked a smile, barely looked at me, made me repeat several parts of my order, and was REALLY snippy. That was my introduction to this location. The only reason I gave it two stars was that the guy who filled my order and handed it to me was smiling and very nice. I went to this location in Cave Creek because it's close to where my grandkids live and it just opened. Two 10 pc nuggets, 2 large fries and 2 chocolate shakes cost $37.36 Fast food for 2 teens cost $37.36! The shakes were not mixed well and they forgot the dipping sauce.
