I just landed in Arizona and got my first meal and experienced my first time at Raising Cane's. As someone who can enjoy KFC but also Churches Chicken in Seattle, I was a bit underwhelmed by the breading and sauce. It kinda just reminded me of fry sauce and I think KFC is crispier. Although my tummy is happy, and it was very quick service, I would personally rather have other fried chicken.

The receipt for my drive thru order that I just paid for before I walked in to ask for some extra sauce.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered food. The guy who took my order and payment was great -- no complaints there. The problem came after. The way the drive-thru is set up makes it almost impossible to leave, so when I realized I wanted ketchup, napkins, and an extra sauce, I parked and went inside. You'd think that would be simple enough, but instead I was met with terrible customer service. When I asked for extra sauce and napkins, the employee (with others watching) told me there was already sauce on the sandwich and refused to give me anything extra. When I asked if I could speak with the manager, I was still denied and treated like I was asking for something unreasonable. I even showed my receipt, but it didn't matter. For the prices Raising Cane's charges, it's disappointing to be treated like this. Customer service matters, and here it was completely lacking. If you want anything extra -- even something as small as ketchup or napkins -- don't bother asking, because apparently that's too much for them.

Delicious crispy chicken strips and delicious dipping sauce! I wasn't wowed by their texas garlic toast. I was expecting more garlic flavor. Restaurant was nice and clean and we got our food under 10 minutes.

First, please fix your call box where orders are placed. The employee could not hear me so I had to give my order twice. I must have said, "Can you hear me?" six times. Grounds were maintained. Service was fast, food was hot and delicious. The chicken was cooked nicely, and moist. As usual, I thought it was pricey [$9.89 +tax] for the three-finger combo with lemonade.

So I'll start by saying the chicken is actually very juicy and tasty, the french bread warm and buttery, and the service at drive thru window was friendly. I was unaware that all the chicken is like chicken fingers/strips. I can go with white meat, but I really prefer dark meat and a grilled option not deep fried if I can help it. Deep fried food outside of the fair is usually a no go for me unless it's lumpia. The small cup of slaw, 2 forkfulls is a disappointment as well, cheapest product to produce they could afford a larger portion

Uhhhhh ohhhh! What is going on with PV Cane's?! My son and I on 2 separate occasions have had immediate food poisoning. My daughter had the 3 piece combo with a large lemonade last night. She put her drink in the refrigerator after saying on the way home it smelled soapy. I said "WHAT?!" Don't drink it. I figured it was ok because, she then put it in the fridge. I grabbed her drink from the fridge today while on my lunch break- took 3 sips- tasted the soap taste and immediately vomited. I like Cane's. We go there pretty often. My son about 2 months ago threw up for 2 days after a 3 finger chicken combo. Sometimes- the line is rushed and our order is inaccurate. I'd prefer accuracy over speed at all times. Areas for improvement- Slow down Double check the quality and accuracy. Sanitization? Food and Safety Checks I would have called the store today but- I am on Zoom meetings. Please find out what's going on with last nights batch of lemonade. It made me immediately sick and my daughter didn't drink because it smelled soapy. Can't afford the downtime or to be outta the cash we spend on food / drink that is unpredictable.

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, tucked away in a small shopping center. Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. It is tastefully decorated, and you order at a counter, and they will either call you to get your food or bring it out to you. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too. If you like chicken tenders, you won't regret trying Hot Chicken Alley!

You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.
