This week has been especially long and stressful, so I decided to swing through the drive-thru tonight to grab some food and unwind. Tobin was the one who helped me, and his upbeat, positive energy and genuinely polite attitude were exactly what I needed to turn my day around. I just landed in Arizona and got my first meal and experienced my first time at Raising Cane's. As someone who can enjoy KFC but also Churches Chicken in Seattle, I was a bit underwhelmed by the breading and sauce. It kinda just reminded me of fry sauce and I think KFC is crispier. I went through the drive-thru and ordered food. The guy who took my order and payment was great -- no complaints there. The problem came after. The way the drive-thru is set up makes it almost impossible to leave, so when I realized I wanted ketchup, napkins, and an extra sauce, I parked and went inside. You'd think that would be simple enough, but instead I was met with terrible customer service. When I asked for extra sauce and napkins, the employee (with others watching) told me there was already sauce on the sandwich and refused to give me anything extra. When I asked if I could speak with the manager, I was still denied and treated like I was asking for something unreasonable. I even showed my receipt, but it didn't matter. For the prices Raising Cane's charges, it's disappointing to be treated like this. Customer service matters, and here it was completely lacking. If you want anything extra -- even something as small as ketchup or napkins -- don't bother asking, because apparently that's too much for them. read more

Went through the drive thru. It went pretty quick. That is super surprising for a Canes. I think we were in and out in about 5 minutes from the time we rolled up. The cashier was super sweet and took out orders and checked us out quick and had put food ready. I ordered the box combo and substituted the ale for an additional Texas toast. Food was as good as the one in Scottsdale that I usually go to. The gals kept tables clean and were friendly. This parking lot is horrible though. You drive in to the same area that the drive thru is so if cars are lined up, you have to wait to get around the building to park. That was the only negative of the visit and not food related. Uhhhhh ohhhh! What is going on with PV Cane's?! My son and I on 2 separate occasions have had immediate food poisoning. My daughter had the 3 piece combo with a large lemonade last night. She put her drink in the refrigerator after saying on the way home it smelled soapy. I said "WHAT?!" Don't drink it. I figured it was ok because, she then put it in the fridge. I grabbed her drink from the fridge today while on my lunch break- took 3 sips- tasted the soap taste and immediately vomited. I like Cane's. We go there pretty often. My son about 2 months ago threw up for 2 days after a 3 finger chicken combo. Sometimes- the line is rushed and our order is inaccurate. I'd prefer accuracy over speed at all times. Areas for improvement- Slow down Double check the quality and accuracy. Sanitization? Food and Safety Checks I would have called the store today but- I am on Zoom meetings. Please find out what's going on with last nights batch of lemonade. It made me immediately sick and my daughter didn't drink because it smelled soapy. They will not give you napkins or ketchup in the drive thru and if you get off your car to ask for some make sure you bring your receipt. They will accuse you of not ordering food and then they will say you got a sandwich which doesn't qualify for extra canes sauce because it's already on the sandwich. This store is struggling and it shows! Check your bags before you leave the drive thru and make sure they give you napkins, sauce, or ketchup before you leave the drive thru or they will not give it to you if you walk inside and ask for it. You would think they are taking the items out of employees checks with how bad they refuse to give these items out. read more

First timer here... we had Canes ordered for Christmas Eve and the entire family was in love with their chicken strips and Texas toast-- unfortunately the fries where soggy. I have gone to this Canes all my life and have loved it. Today I did an online order for first time. I asked for an extra sauce which is extra money, and only received one sauce as shown in photo. I discovered this after my 20 min drive home and was extremely disappointed, as the sauce is the best part and is necessary for the meal. I also asked for it to be extra crispy and it was not, but that one isn't a huge deal since I didn't pay extra for it to be extra crispy. Overall sad about this experience as it's not close to where I live (north Scottsdale) but it's the closest one and I love Canes. read more

Well, I was quite drunk and only had a few bites of chicken and fries. Both were pretty good in my drunk mind. Chicken tasted fresh and fries were crispy and not soggy. Cane's sauce was good too. I don't really remember what it tasted like, but I do remember I liked it. Combo meals come with fries, slaw and toast. My friend substituted the slaw for a second piece of toast. Can't really give more of a review...to drunk to remember. But it was good drunk food. :) read more

Everything is good except the watery lemonade. Every single time, I have never had good lemonade. Chicken great. Sauce great. Fries great.

Chicken fingers, fries, toast, sauce and one cute mascot...sign me up! My wife and my favorite thing to do is split the Caniac combo. We split the six fingers, fries and then substitute the cole slaw for two pieces of Texas toast. It's a great amount of food for two people if you don't mind sharing. Reasoning for the 4-star review is some of the tables around us hadn't been cleaned and it was hard to find a spot that had been cleaned. A high note however was the customer service we experienced while ordering and dining. It's hard to find a fast food restaurant with friendly employees that go out of their way to ensure your dining experience is great. We will be back to visit this location! read more

Best fast food I've had. Service was great. Pretty simple inside but the amazing chicken strips make you forget about the inside.

I'll be generous and say they try hard at Raising Cane. But I'm getting tired of these screaming at you "welcome to..." when entering a fast food place, or the... let's bus your tables before you are done experience. But the real drawback at Raising Cane is the food, er chicken strips. As I wrote in my Tip, the breading just slides off the somewhat bland chicken and ends up all over your fingers. There's no taste or flavor. No variety. No choice of Hot or Mild, Country style, Grilled, no Legs, Breasts, or Thighs; just strips. Even the Golden Arches gives you three varieties. The other drawback is the somewhat inexperienced staff. We ordered a sandwich combo ($5.99) and asked what six strips would cost? (The menu board only listed Combos.) I was told eleven dollars. No, no I said, what's the cost of six strips? I was then asked if I want to cancel my combo? LOL. I gave up after a few more tries. The bill also turned out to be $15.50. So much for eleven dollars. LOL When I got back to our table, I noticed I was charged $0.59 for a sauce. Now I'm not sure if that's correct, but maybe you actually pay extra for sauce here. But I didn't feel like revisiting the cashier to find out. So sorry, I'm pretty sure this will be a one and done visit for us. read more

Went there on grand opening day at 6:00 pm and was busy as can be and it only got worst by 6:30 pm with the parking lot and drive thru in gridlock. Chicken stripes as fresh as can be. We shared the Caniac Combo, substituted the slaw and got extra french fries. The chicken is always consistent, fresh white meat. I am a dark meat person would love for Raising Canes to offer dark chicken meat sometime in the future, but their white meat is juicy and not dry. The biggest tip is you have to get their lemonade which is awesome! The strangest tip would be if you are an ice chewer, they have the best ice with their drinks. The ice is perfect for chewing since it is soft and will not break all your teeth. The service is quick and the people are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Glad this location opened up by our house and will be coming here many more times. read more
