Did a doordash order for 2 milkshakes on this hot Spring day. The order went smoothly, and I received updates to thr progress. I see the driver is at the front office of the resort. I get a text that our Casitas number is wrong?? I texted him back that it is correct. Turns out he speaks virtually zero English and even had trouble understanding numbers. Well my co-worker and I strike again at a new location recommended to us for burgers . I had heard of these burgers in California and found out we had one near us . Small spot , very clean , good size menu .. initially I thought it was kinda expensive but hen again it's like that everywhere now . Burgers come in different sizes which that pretty cool . So from ok hungry to really hungry options . My burger did not really have much taste and meat was undercooked. We had fat fries which are my favorite and were cooked and crunchy just to perfection . If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Walked into the Tatum location to inquire about placing a large order of burgers for my son's high school graduation party. Described what we wanted, asked for an estimate, and left our mobile number to receive it by text. Received a call the following day and he said that they could cater it at our home. What?! Didn't know this was a service they offered. Of course we jumped at the offer! The day of the party (Saturday evening) they arrived an hour early with a grill, fryer, table, and a container for all the fixings (lettuce, tomatoes, onion, relish, pickles). They set-up outside (we had a covered spot and rented a huge swamp cooler for them so they wouldn't melt). Our guests went to the table, and ordered. Burger and fries (fresh off the grill and out of the fryer) were presented in a boxed tray. This was 4 hours of food preparation and our guests LOVED IT! The burgers were good except for the fact that I came with 3 other people and every single one of our burgers were still pink inside. However, they were super nice about it and gave us free funnel cake fries to make it up to us. They also gave my fiancé a free milkshake for his birthday so the service was great. Seasoned well, fresh toppings, and phenomenal customer service! I'd give a 5 star rating all day long! Like I'm salivating just thinking of those fat fries and juicy burger! But I just used Yelp, to order online, and picked my order up to go. It was ready in about 15 minutes, so about 5 min to it pickup my order, and another 5 min to get it home. So basically 25 minutes. Must say, if that was my first time ordering Fatburger, I'd probably pass it right up. It did not travel well. The hot burger and cheese made the bun and toppings welted, and soggy, fries of course got cool, and not so delectable as when eating them right out of the fryer. Fatburger is miles better than In-N-Out and Five Guys in my opinion and I don't mind traveling for it! Fortunately, I was not let down by this location.
