The Australian shepherd puppy ahead of me in the stalled drive thru line could not believe what was happening. The collie two cars back had just noticed them and struck up a conversation. "Hey!" The collie yelled. "I'm at McDonald's too!" The shepherd didn't reply, just stared, dumbstruck at their fun new friend. The collie tried again: "Hey! Hey! I'm in a car, too! Does it get any better than this?!" Six cars back, two huskies entered the chat transforming fast food gridlock into utter pandemonium. The huskies raced from one Side of the car to the other, colliding as they jumped from front to back, crushing their owner and howling out the windows as the car rocked violently "Hey! Hey! We're here too! Look! Back here! Look! Look! Can you hear us!? We're here too! Isn't this great‽" And the barking and the howling and the little shepherd still speechless and shook had every human in this breakfast traffic jam smiling, laughing hanging out our windows craning to better see these dogs having the best doggone time. And a dozen people alone in their metal cocoons, joined a jubilant symphony of love and freedom, conducted by four furry joy machines absolutely stoked to be out on a McMuffin run. And for five minutes we paused our poison pen debates, forgot we'd been told to hate the aliens within our gates and we all just smiled and laughed and joined the happy dog party. Staff is super friendly, and food is always hot and correct!! The line also usually moves pretty fast even when they're super busy.

First this place has workers that don't know what they are doing. It took forever and they weren't even busy. There is stuff on th walls and table. Not clean. There is also ne root beer bummer don't recommend. PERIOD also didn't even get our sauce. read more

If McDonald's corporation wants to see how a McDonald's restaurant should be run, this is the place to visit. I came at 10 am, and the place was PACKED inside and out. I quickly used their super clean bathroom and decided to go through the drive-through. I thought the crowded restaurant was a fluke until I spoke to the first employee taking my order. She was the friendliest McDonald's employee I've talked to in a decade! She actually sounded happy to be there. Being from Chicago, I assumed it was a one-off until I spoke to the cashier, and she was just as happy and friendly! I'm giving them 5 stars because the guy handing me my order was just as nice! Whatever management is doing here, they're doing it right! The food was different, too! It didn't taste premade and plastic like so many other McDonald's. Plus, it was HOT, like they cared what they were serving! This is the first time I've ever rated a McDonald's, but I just had to let people know that if you're hungry for a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner, THIS McDonald's actually cares what it serves and does it with a smile! read more

They are very inconsiderate of your money. They do not care about the children getting toys that are a duplicate to their set. I get not wanting to TAKE TIME to look for what the customer is asking for but I watched this lady take not even 1 minute and just laughed at me for wanting a specific toy for my son. So now my son has 3 of the same toy and I wasted money at this McDonald's. When I worked at McDonald's we were always considerate of the kids getting what they wanted per a toy. I'm at work so I took time out of my lunch to put a smile on his face when I get home but instead I get to tell him I wasn't able to get him the one he was looking for. read more

This McDonald's seems to be very slow lately. But the reason I'm writing and only giving 3 stars is because the last two times I have gotten a frappe here, it is more like cold chocolate milk, then a frozen frappe. I probably will not be returning to this McDonald's to get a frappe. We used to like coming here but not so much anymore. read more

The parking lot was very clean and well illuminated. Clean bathrooms and lobby. The food was top notch and fresh. I also seen that somebody posted a picture of they're "moldy" soda machine, the thing is, it's not mold, it's soda syrup, and it was cleaned according to a manager who was present at the time. I used the app to preorder so my roomie could pick it up. I told him to ask for it at the drive thru (as if it were Taco Bell) and the person at the speaker told him I have to use the app to check in. App GPS says I'm not there, so I can't check in. Major pita, but okay, fine. Here's a confirmation number, use that to get the food. (I used the meantime to tweet McD's corporate about their crappy app.) Roomie calls again. Manager claims that *I* have to be there with my phone (it was my tablet) in order for them to make the order. Um...WTF did you give me an order/confirmation number for if you can't use it? (Maybe my debit card won't charge if I'm not on the property? I don't know...the manager didn't bother to explain it.) Roomie wanted to go to Arby's, but I convinced him to stay. Between this, the sodas being half-flat since the remodel (the one I got on March 9 was completely flat and I ended up tossing it out after a few sips) and the remodel itself looking like corporate is trying too hard to be "cool", I'm wondering what's going on with this restaurant. I don't like posting a review saying yet ANOTHER Charlotte location is inferior to Grand Ledge, but the truth is difficult to avoid. read more

A go to for many and this time there were approx 11 cars in drive through and not moving... I drive around and parked on drive through side, walked in ordered and got back to car before a vehicle I would have been behind got served.. There were tons of manager looking people walking around like just came from somewhere? I am guessing regulars can't keep lime going without being supervised? Cleaner than other fast food restaurants near by but frustrating when they can't keep their ice cream machines running

To preface this, I worked here in high school so maybe I'm playing favorites but every Lansing and Ann Arbor McDonalds has dry biscuits and overdone eggs. I always get an egg and cheese biscuit and this is the only place that I can get something that actually tastes good, nothing overcooked, everything fresh and hot, and it's rarely sloppy unlike other locations where the cheese might be half off the biscuit. I go back whenever I'm in town to say hello and get an egg cheese biscuit and the quality hasn't dropped. read more
